When I turned,…read moreI caught the manager just standing there, glowering at me with cold, eagle-like eyes -- silent, not saying a single word, but making the whole moment feel intimidating and hostile. When he finally scanned my first item, he asked in a low, menacing tone if that was the only code. I replied politely, 'Oh, I have two more items.' All of a sudden, he shouted, 'IS THIS THE CODE FOR THIS ITEM?!' so loudly that everyone heard -- the woman in front of me, the people behind me, even the UPS carrier picking up boxes. He ignored me when I tried to confirm, roughly scanned the rest, slammed the label onto the package, then turned away. Right after shouting at me, he became soft-spoken and smiling with the woman in front of me, leaning in to carefully check her code -- the complete opposite of how he had treated me. Even when I said 'thank you,' he deliberately ignored. What struck me most was his split personality -- hostile, aggressive, and humiliating toward me, then seconds later soft, smiling, and patient with another customer. Believe me, when someone shows this insidious side so openly, it isn't just a bad day. Over time, that kind of toxic behavior affects everyone around them.

I started to get anxious and snarky - it was WiFi withdrawal, I felt a cold sweat come over me. After all of the trouble shooting and talking to Comcast, that was the conclusion so after a trip to Costco and BestBuy, we ended up at Office Max. While looking at the Modems and reading about each option, an employee approached us and offered assistance. He then gave several suggestions and after landing on a particular make and model - he honored a price match on Amazon!! It was a done deal and he even checked us out. Now that folks is called total customer service!! Hooray - problem solved!! Not really, I eventually had to purchase a new router later in the day - but that'll be for my BestBuy review. The service was so much better at OfficeMax.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My agency found this company and sent me there for…read morefingerprinting. After a text from "Dee", with no identifying information, I ascertained who she was and responded affirmatively re: the appointment date and time. I then received a text from her confirming our appointment and explaining that she was about to send a text that I needed to "read CAREFULLY". No such text came. I reached out for clarification, and got no response. The location is a residential street, and my map app took me to the house across the street from hers. A very nice gentleman came to the door, and I immediately recognized my mistake. "This isn't the fingerprinting location, is it?" I said. He laughed and said no, then asked me if the business was an actual house. I said yes, and he said that when I find it to let him know because he also needed some fingerprinting done. We chatted for a moment about what a great gig it would be to have that kind of business right from your own home. I apologized again, he told me "no worries!" And I left. Soon, after cross checking texts and a couple of emails from my agency, I was able to determine that the place I needed was right across the street. I drove there and parked in the driveway, as I'd been instructed to. As I approached the front door, I was looking at my phone to verify that I was at the right place as I rang the door bell. A pinched-faced, unfriendly woman opened the door just a smidgen, reached way over to a small, pale yellow note tucked under her mailbox and tapped it furiously. It instructed to go to the back door. I said I was so sorry, and headed down the driveway to her back door. She flung it open, visibly furious. I apologized again and began to tell her how I'd initially gone to the wrong house. She cut me off and screamed, "YOU DISTURBED MY NEIGHBOR AND YOU CANNOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS?!" I backed up and said, "Nevermind. I'm leaving." This caused her to scream, "I DO NOT WANT TO WORK WITH YOU!" Which was rather irrelevant considering I'd just said I was leaving. It turns out that my agency already paid her "no refunds" fee, which they didn't mind but which made me even angrier. I admit, I look a mess. No makeup, swollen eyes. My 17 year old dog just died, and the grief shows on my face, making me look a wreck. None of that should matter, of course, but I got the distinct vibe that I wasn't up to par on her esthetic standards, on top of my other egregious actions. Word to the wise: AVOID THIS NASTY WOMAN. At all costs. The "convenience" isn't worth it. There are multitudes of places similar to hers out there. Please find one.

I waited a bit but no response. So I left. I called a few days later asking if I could schedule an appointment. They said they don't take appointments for notary services but I could come in today, they were not that busy at the time. I came in shortly after and was helped right away and they only charged me a dollar for each notarization (per state law). No extra administrative fee was charged like some other places do. So I recommend if you need notary services, try them, but call ahead to see if the notary person is in and check how busy they are before you show up. The notary is not in every day. Otherwise, the service was prompt and friendly, and I will go back again when I need documents notarized.
