Went here a few months ago and have travelled a few times since then. We got our TSA PreCheck here. The woman was very nice. I think I could have walked in but we had an appointment. In and out in 20 minutes total. Oh, one thing that was super annoying was that we had an appointment get canceled the day before after setting the appt weeks earlier. IDK what that was about. 2nd appt worked. Tip: don't always go through PreCheck line... Sometimes normal security is faster. read more

Ok, let's be honest. This office has seen better days. It's run down and could use a serious makeover. But it's the closest one to most folks on the Northshore - and no one wants to drive an hour to get to the next office. The staff aren't exactly warm and fuzzy (to say the least). But I will say they don't waste time getting you processed. We had 2 reservations and they were churning out people every 10 minutes. It was an easy process to get our Pre-check for the whole family. Made an appointment for Thursday at location on Belmont. I happened to be in the area earlier in the day so I stopped by to see if I could get in early. They were closed despite it being within their open hours, but I just figured that they didn't have any appointments and stepped out. So I come back at my appointment time. They are STILL closed, and this time there is a sign up saying that they are closed ALL DAY due to "system maintenance." No call, no text, no emails - no head's up of any kind despite the appointment I booked. I spent an hour in transit for no reason. If you try to go here, make sure you call ahead even if you have an appointment. Or just go to a downtown location - I rebooked at the one on Wabash which was very quick and efficient. read more

The staff was very rude and wrong. I went for TSA pre check. She didn't accept my birth certificate because she said it had to be a certified copy. I brought my original BC with the official seal. Attached is a picture of the description of what I needed to bring directly from the Website. It clearly says a birth certificate bearing an official seal. I was dreading coming here but I honestly had a great experience! I came to get enrolled for TSA Precheck. I had been putting it off for years simply because I didn't want to do this part of it. So if you're anything like me, stop putting it off and do it! You'll thank me next time you're flying through security. I had an 11:15am appointment and waited for about 5 minutes. It was a one woman show, but she was extremely efficient and got everyone in and out quickly. On top of that, she was really fun and easy to talk to, and walked me through the whole process. Best part, there was a cute little puppy in the back! I definitely suggest making an appointment. I believe they allow walk ins on certain days of the week, but I did overhear her saying that people line up for it and it's not guaranteed you'll get in. I'm set with precheck for the next 5 years and it only took 30 minutes out of my day to make it happen - woo! read more

Made an appointment following my online submission of data at the TSA site. Brought the required docs that I submitted that I would bring (passport and driver's license). Waited about 5 minutes for my appointment and was in and out within 10 minutes. Easy peasy. Just be sure to bring what you sign up to bring on the TSA website and you'll be golden. Also, I would recommend making the appointment online like I did. Make process so much quicker. read more

Poor excuse for a company that should not be entrusted to handle anything, let alone TSA pre-check. Their hours suck. You usually wait, even with an appointment, their site glitches, making it difficult to even book an appointment. Times kept coming up but would not let me book. It said I would have to walk in. It said I could walk in on the day I chose. I was there first thing when they opened along with a bunch of other folks. They open the door and inform everyone that there are no walk ins on that day. Ridiculous. They don't care who they inconvenience. They don't care if people complain. Honestly, don't support these imbeciles. Lets hope the feds pull their license and shut them down. read more

The reviews are true. They don't tell you what to bring beforehand, and once you go, it's a long line. They'll make you go back and get your documents, and once you get back, there will be no space for you. Go to another location if you're wanting to do TSA Pre. I went to a different location and was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and that other location tells you in advance that you need your passport. read more

I had to get my TSA Precheck approval so I scheduled an appointment here. There was free street parking and they had many openings. I was able to get in and out quickly. The only downside was the time slot you registered for didn't mean much at all. They served you in the order you arrived so don't anticipate much preferential treatment because you have an appointment. read more

No heads up, no explanation, I had even received a confirmation email just days prior reminding me of my appointment time and assuring me "your appointment is confirmed and there is no further action required". This place is all sorts of awesome! I went to get TSA Pre Approved for flights and wasn't too sure what to expect. It ended up being a very pleasant experience and super quick. The lady working was so friendly and personable - we loved her! She was fun to chat with and got us in & out so quickly. This location has apparently been there for four years but doesn't look a day over built yesterday. Clean and organized! You can just walk in if you want but I suggest signing up online for an appointment just to be safe. $85 and now I'm set for 5 years! Skip those lines yo! read more

I showed up 3 minutes late but the two workers were in the back and didn't come out until 10 minutes after my appointment time. Because I was late they told me they wouldn't see me, which fine I was a few minutes late that's on me. I was advised I could wait until 1pm and they would take me if there was time. I decided to wait as it was only 30 minutes later. At 12:50 they said they were all done and to lock the door. They refused to do my application even though they stated they would help me up until 1pm. I sat through a bunch of people being processed and they all took about 5 minutes so it's not like they would have had to stay past 1pm to help me. When I asked how to reschedule they told me to call customer service and were no help whatso ever. The one lady I spoke with on both occasions was incredibly rude. I take blame for being a few minutes late but don't tell me there is a chance you can take me and then close early before the time you told me to wait until. read more

Rude and unprofessional. Monica, the employee who worked there was very rude to me and my wife. She was aggressive and rude. She grabbed the documents from our hand very aggressively. You can't ask questions or make any comments. She asked me to add my email and when she saw me typing she told me that I was been slow for her and took the iPad from my hands again aggressively!!!!. Monica should not been working in a place dealing with customers. When we asked her name she just ignored us. She just ruined the whole experience for us. The staff at the IdentOGO office at 2958 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL, 60618 was rude and made up a rule the first time I visited the office. In could not find any statements when you make the appointment does it say you need to be there 10 minutes before the appointment. They locked the door & denied me from coming in & said I had to reschedule. People with disabilities or spectrum disorders who need exact instructions to follow are discriminated by this office based on their unstated rule. When I pointed this out to the staff for my second try, I was talked over, given a rude answer to end the conversation, with no recognition that they would take the feedback under consideration or justification/proof that the rule exists at all. I also asked basic questions after being processed, and I was cut off before I asked my full question, and the staff response was wrong (not what I was intending to ask). I had to to speak several times to get my question out before being interrupted with the staff's curt, and unhelpful responses. This is unacceptable behavior for any business, let alone what I presume is a government contractor. I will never recommend anyone to go to this office, in fact I would recommend to drive miles out of their way to avoid their toxic & unprofessional behavior. read more

Be careful when scheduling your appointment and this location. They cancel them without letting you know, they open later than their post scheduled time as well! The front desk didn't even trying to get you in for the inconvenience, they just rudely tell you to come back at a later time to see if they will get you in. And they don't even look at you while you speak to them, all she was doing was walking away as I was speaking to her. Highly recommend you to schedule at an other location. read more

I came here as part of the TSA Pre-Check interview/appointment. I made an appointment about two weeks in advance, and you should also make one and not try to do a walk-in because they basically see all of the appointments first before any walk ins (i.e. you'll be waiting all day). That being said, if you make an appointment - don't bother coming in "earlier" that your scheduled time, because even though I came in 15 minutes early, if someone came in AFTER I did but had an appointment BEFORE me, they were seen first. Also, it seems like they make multiple appointments for the same time. I spent more time waiting than I did the interview, which took like 5-10 minutes max. Other than the screwy waiting/appointment process, I have no complaints. The approval was relatively fast like in 2 or 3 weeks. You CANNOT get approved the same day, FYI. So plan ahead if you are traveling soon. read more

Ridiculously bad experience on both visits. Staff was incredibly rude, and made my son feel guilty for not having his state ID. The check-in process was a DISASTER. They told every 'walk-in' that they may have to wait for 6 hours, but couldn't guarantee that they would be able to complete the process. Wait...what?? Honestly, this is the most efficiently run place that I have been to. They were completely booked and have 4 appointments scheduled every 10 minutes. I recommend that you make an appointment and show up ten minutes early as suggested in your confirmation email. You'll be out right on time. If you don't make an appointment then you'll have to wait for an open slot. Individuals that have appointments have priority. Came here to register my daughter for TSA Precheck. I had been here a few months ago for the same thing and found the process to be fast and easy. I checked the IndentoGo website and the closest location to me didn't have appointments available until next week. This location, however, had appointments available the next day. Considering that my daughter and I both were free at that moment, I took a chance and walked in instead. (The website states they allow walk ins but appointments will be given priority.) When we walked in there were 3 people waiting. We waited about 20mins before she was called and were done 10mins later. All we had to bring was her passport and an ID. The price for TSA precheck was $85. We asked about Global Re-entry and were informed that they only offer it at O'Hare. I would think that it's by appointment only, based on that being the only location that offers it. Street parking is easily available. Staff was friendly. read more
