Was driving in a parking lot maybe 5 miles per hour- the glass popped (that's the sound I heard) nothing remotely nearby to cause the windshield to crack. Stop by Seneco Glass as they did the original install. No one there to assess. Call them the next day- Rick says send me pics -did so, can't determine from pics - "bring in I'm here all the time" Text him- will you be there tomorrow? - his response "yup". Bring the car by (mind you, this is a 25 minute drive each time) Guess what? Rick not there all day. The lady says I'll have someone come out to your home and look at it- Okay, great. The guy does show and determines it's a stress crack and covered by warranty. Wonderful. Make an appointment to bring car in and have glass repaired. (Again, taking time away from work, also having another person follow me to bring me back home). The vehicle was a pearl white color, hard to match. They fixed the dent and matched the paint so that you couldn't tell anything had ever happened. Recently I was in an accident with an uninsured driver. I had just gotten another vehicle three weeks before. I had to file the claim with my insurer. What a time to find out how terrible their claims department was, which will be another review about them when the claim is done. The adjustor was so rude, as if I had caused the accident. I had received a concussion and was so distraught over the treatment I received. Leah at Waikem was such a help. She kept me updated along the way and helped get the claim going to get my vehicle fixed. We just can't say enough about her. The car looks spectacular and runs as good as new.
