It's like your a sick toddler in a baby chair and they hold your hand and spoon feed you till better. I always loved that about Allstate and alike them Tech-Cor follows suit. Had some body work that needed to be done. I got real time phone calls from beginning to finish. Updates about the work, about their correspondence with Allstate and then about the pickup date. Common repair shops just can't compare.

The auto insurance company recommended the dealer body shop or finding a body shop myself. I foolishly wondered if they were giving me the best option and after seeing good reviews of Tech Cor, chose to go with them. They were completely inflexible and insisted on their 'pound of flesh' (if you read Shakespeare, Merchant of Venice). At one point, they even told me to go and take it to another body shop. My dismantled minivan with all the parts taken out by them??!! I did not post a review earlier because I was trying to forget how distressing it was dealing with them. Some of the things I remember: There was a tiny dent on one door and they insisted on charging me $50 for it even though the insurance paid them almost $13K for the rest of the damage. This could have easily been suctioned out in a few minutes using their tools but they insisted, "no free work". And guess what, after repairs, my car came back with the dent still in place. When I had to pick up my van, I would have to come in the rental car. How would I take the car back? They insisted they could not pick me up from home and so I had to wait until my wife could come early morning with me so one could drive the rental car and the other drive the van. The sliding doors sometimes get stuck and when I took it to them, their explanation was it was dirt sticking in the doors. To this day, I don't know why I caused myself so much unnecessary grief by ignoring my insurance company's recommendation and going with this business.

They sent me to this place. I called them 2 days prior to my drop-off date just to make sure Progressive sent them all my information. The receptionist who picked up the phone was so kind and helpful. I dropped my car off on a Monday. Their office is really clean and looked very professional. I was helped right away by the receptionist. She was very welcoming. I was then seen by Robert, who took a look at my car to see what was damaged. The drop off process was pretty easy and didn't take up alot of my time. The following day, they left me a voicemail regarding the cost of the damage. I'm happy that my car was looked at the following day in a timely manner. I didn't owe anything since Progressive was handling everything. I was able to pick my car up the following Tuesday. Pick up was just as easy as drop off! You just sign some papers and they pull your car out for you so you can be on your way. Robert was the one who brought out my car. It looked like nothing ever happened, I am very happy with the job they did! And you can tell they washed my car too. I'm just happy to have my baby back.

No BS…read more After getting put through the ringer at Lincolnwood Toyota being sold this and that and being lied to for 4 hours while they "fixed" my car, I needed to weigh my options. Was told by Jersey that the labor the dealer was going to charge me $150+ for would be "minimal" and would cost $15 tops. Turned out the part that I "needed" was 75% LESS from Jersey. They ordered it that day and upon looking at the issue told me it was a quick fix. So quick, in fact, that not only did I not actually need the part (which I was 100% committed to buying from them) they weren't even going to charge me for the labor. A couple clips and tests later I got a call, grabbed my keys, and I just... left. Took my $550 dealership fiasco and completely erased it - didn't even make me pay restocking fees, shipping: NOTHING. 2020 left me thinking there weren't any honest, hardworking people around anymore, but if you go to Jersey Auto you'll find that there are a few left.

Wow! This was the absolute best experience I have EVER had with an auto shop- EVER!…read more So I was rear-ended last week by this old dude who was driving an old Cadillac limo for a "company". The damage wasn't horrible but definitely needed to be repaired. This guy had no insurance and just a piece of paper to serve as his drivers license and of course the cops did not come to help me sort out what to do. I eventually called his boss- the guy who runs this limo company, and he told me that if I bring my car to one of the shops that he takes his cars to he will foot the bill- fine by me. We agree to meet at Leader auto the next morning. This is when we met Cathy (one of the owners of the shop). She is amazing! This guy never showed and she was on the phone right away helping us figure out what to do. She was so patient and helpful that even in this ridiculous situation we felt at ease. Long story short- they took our bumper off and fixed it for us. The guy was supposed to come in and pay for it while it was being repaired. When we went back to pick it up a few days later we learned that he still had not payed. Jerk. Cathy again stepped in and talked to this jerk in such a professional way (I was ready to rip his head off). They sent us on our way with our bumper looking brand new and with a promise that they will sort out the payment with this jerk. Not only did they do an amazing job with our car but helped us out in this unfortunate situation- putting the liability for this payment totally on them. What other auto shop would do that?!

For my family, this auto shop is THE ONLY place we will go to. They are trusted, do really great work, and the best part: they don't up charge or try to nickel and dime you. Everything is super transparent. I've had all 3 of my cars serviced here, from things as trivial as fixing the rear sensor, to transmission work, to small repairs - I've never once had a complaint.
