The waiting area is really well-divided and seats are assigned by letter for social distancing. At check-in, they confirmed my information and directed me to sit at one of the labeled chairs. Min Jie Lee was my doctor, and she came out immediately. She was so incredibly nice and welcoming and walked me through the test with all the necessary details and patience. The test was not as bad as I thought it would be (no, they don't try to reach your brain) and was done quickly. Dr. Lee let me know I'd receive my results in 2-4 days on my app and via email and off I went! The front desk also covered the garage parking so it was free! If you can go to One Medical, I highly recommend it.

The office is so welcoming and a spa-like, beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. We are so happy we found her! She and her team are gems. I never used the refill, Now that I need the cream again because my dermatitis is flaring up, he said that I have to come in for a visit before he'll rewrite the prescription. My issue is is that every time I walked through that door it's a $200 endeavor and I don't have that kind of money, I've explained this to him and he said there's nothing he can do about it. We know exactly what I need and I've expressed that I am in discomfort and I just need the cream that he gave me last time, He said no. The doctor is actively in discomfort, even though he knows what I need to be in discomfort and wants me to go to spend money I don't have. Doctors are supposed to be there to help their patients. I was really pleased with how easy it was to set up an appointment on the app. I uploaded my insurance information on the app and presented it again to the receptionist when I arrived for my appointment. I saw the doctor and was pleased with my care. However, I needed a prior authorization for a prescription and everything went downhill. Long story short, I contacted One Medical three times by app (as instructed) to request the PA. The app has read receipts, so the staff saw my request. I never received a response. A week before I was going to be out of my medication, I was finally able to get in contact with a customer service rep at their corporate office. She was very apologetic about the issue and had the office manager reach out to me. The office manager told me they didn't take my insurance and that they would not do the PA. I felt like the office manager was blaming me for the issue. However, my insurance company assigned One Medical to me, said One Medical was a participating office when I called, and had them listed online as in network, so I didn't appreciate the insinuation that I did not do my due diligence. One Medical had multiple opportunities to let me know that they did not accept my insurance, but chose to ghost me until I reached out to corporate. I was left without care and with an empty prescription. It was difficult to find a new provider on such short notice, so I had to go without my medication. Had One Medical paid attention when I booked my appointment, showed my insurance card to the receptionist, or during the 3 times I reached out about my PA, I could have started the search earlier and found a new doctor. One Medical is careless at best and negligent at worst. With so many other options in Chicago, I could not recommend One Medical in good faith.

The rest of the onsite team I interacted with was terrific too - warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient - all around great experience. Had a follow-up appt today via zoom. Again - great experience. Your model works great for me as I travel quite a bit and being able to get care in different locations in person, via app or video call is super important to me. Truly grateful for the excellent quality of care along with the innovation which makes getting healthcare so much easier!

Everyone knows who you are after only a couple of visits. All appointments are followed up by a thorough report on their site. I had an after hours issue that I reported by phone. The response was almost immediate. I received an email detailing what I should do if my pharmacy was closed overnight. The prescription was ready within a couple hours. The response was really impressive. I highly recommend the office.
