My home warranty is through First American, and I needed my wall oven/microwave repairing. I was assigned Accord after originally being assigned with another company who I previously had a bad experience with. The reviews were off-putting to say the least, and the original appointment was messed up by the agent from First American and by Accord (hence, the 4-star vs 5-star review). It got late in the day on the day of the new appointment, so I was expecting the worst until Roman showed up at my door. He was polite, funny, and very knowledgeable. Given the 20+ years of experience he has, he knew pretty much straight away what was wrong with the microwave. Twenty minutes later, and after replacing a fuse hidden above the microwave, we were all done. My pessimism turned into happiness. If you get assigned Roman, know you're going to get great service. Edit: I forgot to mention that if this call turned into a disappointment, we were going to cancel our home warranty. read more

These people are USELESS. They came out to check a dryer problem & said it was a "breaker problem" which was supposedly fixed but as soon as they left I tried the dryer & it still wouldn't work properly Yelp shows they have 1.5 stars ... I would give them a negative rating if possible. IF U are considering them DON'T use them...U will regret it. IF they return your calls (usually the next day earliest) they say "sorry" again & again. I have a different Contractor coming out to fix the problem. U HAVE BEEN WARNED... read more

IF YOU HOME WARRANTY COMPANY ASSIGNS YOU TO THIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY ASK FOR A REASSIGNMENT! I was assigned to this by AHS. They called promptly to schedule an appointment for Wednesday. Come Wednesday, they did NOT show up! They did NOT call! Complete no show! Thursday, they texted me I needed to make an appointment. I then called them and told them, they were supposed to show up yesterday (Wednesday) and never did! The lady said they did. I said BS, I have four cameras on my property, and get notifications at the smallest things. My dogs would've barked. I was out front in my yard with my kids playing and saw NO one But Amazon! I am at home ALL DAY! They then schedule an appointment for Friday, today. Once again, NO SHOW. NO CALL. Cameras show nothing. No notifications of a door bell rang. I am now requesting AHS to reassign me companies and absolutely escalating this and recommending they drop this unprofessional company. It is VERY clear that I am NOT the only one who has had this happen, and the owners are very much against taking accountability based on their AI generated responses stating " here's a response that does not admit fault" Do better. Actually, just completely shut down read more

This company will give you date and time frame. My husband & I waited the whole morning. I called early that morning to confirm and one of the staffs Confirm & I asked if Tech would called on a line that company name register. She answered "YES". While I was talking to her someone was calling register "SCAM", I continued to talked to her didn't answer the call. Waited all morning till it was afternoon. Called the Company again and state Tech tried to call no one answered. I told her was talking to her colleague why didn't Tech call in the office before leaving the area he would have found out I was talking to the office staff. Well Tech did not come back. Had to be reschedule for another week. This time waited and letting you know that phone is Tech personal not company. Shows up "Scam" & not company vehicle its personal car. Worst at first gave excuse unable to be done cause maintenance issue? We informed him we need to know why not heating up. We are cover for parts. He did finally replace a part. Then he left. Then AHS sent me a letter not cover whatever excuse? To me this Accord Appliances is not reliable. Would not Recommended to anyone. read more

This is the second time that American Home Shield sent Accord Appliances out. This time it was for my laundry center. They reported to AHS that the issue was due to excessive use so AHS won't cover repairs. The washer is 34 years old and I never needed it serviced before this! Is that "excessive use"? 34 years? You can't reach a manager by phone, only someone in India who can't help or an email form. I will never allow Accord in my home again and am planning to cancel my AHS policy and go with First American, who actually monitors reviews and won't renew companies who have poor ratings! read more

Do Not Use Them. They only want to collect the service fee or do a new install. Real work they will pawn off to someone else or document user error. The time it would take them to fix it, they would miss out on all those services fees. read more

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I was given an 8:00 AM-12:00 PM appointment window to have my dishwasher repaired after this company had already been to my home two weeks earlier and was unable to fix it. I took the day off work specifically for this appointment and waited all morning. No one showed up, and I received no call, text, or notification. When I finally reached out to them, I was simply told they were not coming and that I needed to contact my home warranty company. Missing an appointment is one thing. Allowing a customer to take a day off work and sit through a four-hour appointment window without even having the courtesy to notify them that no one is coming is completely unacceptable. After two weeks, a failed repair, a missed day of work, and now a no-show, my dishwasher is still not fixed and I have to start the process over with my warranty company. Terrible communication, zero follow-through, and absolutely no consideration for their customers' time. I would not recommend this company. read more

1 star is way too much for this company...service person came out told me and my wife one thing and totally put something else in the report for the insurance company that denied...as a matter of fact what he verbally told us was nowhere in the the final report for the insurance company.....AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! read more

Horrible! What a rip off. Came out 8 separate times to fix/replace an ice maker. Had to take each time off work and then only got a 10 minute notice that they were around the block. 1st attempt to repair the icemaker resulted in flooding my entire downstairs with water, second time resulted in icemaker not even working. This company was assigned to me by American Home Shield (AHS) I would request an alternate company! They charge American home shield every time they come out for a service call which is why they made eight separate visits. DO NOT USE! read more

If I could give this company less than zero stars, I would. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from Accord Appliance and AHS (American Home Shield). AHS sent Accord Appliance to repair my oven. It took **seven scheduled visits**, including two no-shows, and the problem was still never properly resolved. Each appointment required me to set aside about four hours of my day, resulting in a huge amount of wasted time. On approximately the fifth visit, the technician said he replaced a part. The oven worked for about a week before malfunctioning again. I have videos showing the loud noises it was making and the temperature repeatedly going on and off while in use. On the seventh visit, I showed the technician the videos. He told me directly that the oven was **not worth repairing anymore**, that it was an older unit, and that parts were difficult to obtain. I also have text messages from him saying he would do his best to convince AHS that the unit was beyond repair and recommend replacement. Yet within about an hour, AHS denied my claim and told me that Accord Appliance reported the oven was **fully functioning and required no further repair**. That completely contradicted what the technician told me in person and by text. Seven visits, two no-shows, hours of wasted time, conflicting information, and still no resolution. I no longer trust either company. I am also disappointed that AHS continues assigning contractors with extremely poor online reviews. Before allowing one of their contractors into your home, check Yelp and Google reviews and document everything--texts, appointments, photos, videos, and technician statements. I will never use Accord Appliance again, and I will not renew with AHS. A home warranty is supposed to provide peace of mind, not weeks of frustration, wasted time, and questionable service. **Proceed with extreme caution when dealing with AHS and the contractors they assign.** read more

****PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK****DO NOT HIRE**** As a type this I am currently holding for American Home Shield, I had one of their technicians come to my home yesterday and "diagnose" my refrigerator. I paid my deductible to have them come out and tell me to just put silicone around the edge to seal it. You Tube could have told me that. He then told me exactly what needed to be fixed on my fridge and said he would order the parts and when he returns to have the fridge defrosted so he can get everything replaced. I call this morning and their CSR tells me that parts were requested and that it was denied from AHSW and that she would contact them to see why and what the next step is. I call AHSW and apparently the technician put in the notes that he needed the fridge defrosted to properly diagnose it and that they would have to come out again, but not one time did anyone from Accord say to have it defrosted, but the technician told me exactly what needed to be fixed, but apparently forgot to put that diagnoses in his final report. This company bs's to get paid for multiple service calls. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand. I don't know how they are still I business with the incompetent people that work there. I'm giving my warranty the opportunity to redeem themselves, but moving forward I will generate my own list of technicians and this company will not be one of them. Get it together ACCORD read more

July 20 Dryer not heating. Accord was dispatched by American Home Shield home warranty provider. July 23 technician came out to say it was not possible to assess unit without pulling it out. Technician said he would order the parts and to schedule return when appliance moved. I moved the appliance for them to access, no technician came back, but Accord ordered the parts. August 18, Accord states parts have not arrived. Last week I ordered the parts from Home Depot and got them in 4 days, installed them in less than an hour. I'll see whether Accord ever calls back. Used them throught my home warranty. Tech came out turned on my dryer and said he knew the problem. Took a week to come back said he fixed it and left. Our dryer was making a very loud thumping noise. We filed a claim with our home warranty and Accord Appliance was the one that came out. Within the same day of accepting the claim they called me to schedule a day and time to come. They were able to come the next day. Artur texted me when he was on his way which I appreciated, so that I am not waiting all day. The rollers on the drum needed to be replaced. Luckily he had the parts available, so he was able to get our dryer back to working condition in no time. Thank you Accord Appliance! read more

The service technician that came to my home was dishonest with me from the very beginning. Saraj called to let me know he was on his way around 10 and he never showed up. I called the company asking where he was and they told me he came and I didn't answer my door. I live in a gated community and you need an ID to come into the community. I am texted any time anyone shows up and no one was let in. So he didn't show up, and he didn't call to let me know that he was not able to get in because he forgot his ID. Absolutely taken aback that the company would put blame on me that the service person did not show up. They give me a second appointment the next day and the guy comes out and says oh this broke on your washer, this is a common problem with these machines, lint often gets stuck and something got back there to throw the balance off to make this happen. I see this all the time. Then he proceeds to tell me that the home warranty company will replace this, because it's too expensive to fix, I'll even put in that the pump is broken so it will escalate the issue. You will probably get a few machines to choose from or you can opt for cash, but beware they may low ball you and you have to yell at them to get you a fair compensation. Turns out in his report he wrote something entirely different than what he told me. He wrote that the problem was due to past over loading which in my machine if it's over loaded or off balance it would not run. So now the warranty won't cover it. Do not trust this company! read more

Horrible experience. There was minimal communication throughout the process. The catch pan on my washer was broken during the service, and the technician claimed it was already like that even though i had literally just bought a new one less then a month ago and has never been moved. They said they would order a part and come back to fix it, but they never showed up on the day they said they would. When I called, I was told the appointment had been rescheduled without notifying me. Very frustrating service. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. If you value your time, energy, and money, look elsewhere. I was assigned to this company through American Home Shield for an appliance repair, and the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. For the first appointment, they never showed up. The next day, customer service claimed they had called twice and even arrived at the property - none of which was true. I was home the entire time and did not receive a single call. I rescheduled and even called first thing in the morning to confirm the appointment window of 8 AM-12 PM. At 11:30 AM, still with no update, I called again and was told the technician was running late. By 1 PM, still nothing. By 3 PM, still nothing - no calls, no updates, no courtesy. At that point, I contacted AHS, cancelled the service request with this company, and asked to be reassigned to a different contractor. As a landlord, I have responsibilities to my tenant, and this level of unprofessionalism affects everyone involved. The lack of communication and accountability was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time. read more

Same as most of the other reviewers, tech tells you one thing and AHS has a totally different reason as an excuse to deny your claim.

I would not recommend Accord Appliance to anyone. In the month of June 2026 our dishwasher stopped working. The door of dishwasher would not closing and soap dispenser also would not work. We informed American Home Shield ((AHS), our Home Insurance Co, about this problems and they dispatched Accord Appliance to diagnose and repair the problems. The technician from Accord Appliance upon diagnosis said that a part(s) needed to be ordered. When part(s) arrived same technician came and performed installation. Same day when we tried to run dishwasher T the evening it still didn't worked (same problems). We addressed this again to AHS, the contractor would not accept our call without AHS. To make long story short, we had to repeat this cycle five times from mid June to now mid August. Our request to AHS to dispatch some other contractor has been denied. The Accord Appliance in response of our complaints replied each time that they going to send "senior technician" Therefore we had four different "experts" by now. The dishwasher still has not been working now for over two months. Today, August 18 we have again the technician from Accord Appliance who was trying to fix the problems before. He walked in looked the dishwasher, couldn't make any determinations and stated that hi will file the report with AHS about lack of ability to fix this problem and recommend the replacement. Actually one of the previous technicians also was making same statements, but Accord Appliance decided to send a "supper technician" instead. When we contacted AHS about the status of next steps, we have been informed that according to Accord Appliance there is nothing wrong with dishwasher mechanically and the case is stated as complete. Today's technician has not spent even more that 2(two) minutes and now repair is completed. What a miracle job performance! I wish I could do this mysterious performance in my professional life. In my argument to AHS representative, she dispatched new contractor- Appliance Repair Experts, which we have to wait now for another week. We have not working dishwasher for over two months, we have to wait now for another week and the credential of new contractor from reviews aren't any better then the previous one, the meter of facts they're even worse. To much for wonderful service from AHS dispatching "shloky" Pro's. read more

was assigned this company through my American Home Shield home warranty. A technician was sent out, and my mom was home to let him in while I was away. He repaired the washer, which was fine, but he was also supposed to check the refrigerator because the water line was no longer connecting properly. Instead of actually diagnosing the issue, he immediately blamed the refrigerator filter and said it needed to be replaced. I know for a fact the issue was not the filter, as the refrigerator had been connected to the water source and working fine for a long time before this. His explanation didn't make sense, and he didn't properly check the problem. On top of that, he was very rude and unprofessional. He kept saying things like "I think" and "I believe." As a professional coming into someone's home to fix an issue, you should know what you're doing , not guess. That lack of confidence and professionalism was frustrating and unacceptable. Overall, this was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this company, and I honestly think American Home Shield should reconsider working with them. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Accord was assigned by my home warranty company. The first visit was scheduled relatively quickly to repair a broken refrigerator and washing machine. They fixed the washing machine but said a senior technician was required for the refrigerator, but that couldn't be scheduled for 15 days! The washing machine worked for one cycle and broke again, full of water. I called Accord and they would not send someone back out until the senior technician appointment. At that appointment they fixed the refrigerator but needed to order a part for the washing machine. They wouldn't schedule an appointment until the part arrived. The part arrived but the earliest appointment is another 9 days away! They won't send someone to drain the washing machine. This place is a joke and I would highly recommend staying away! read more

This company is absolute GARBAGE and should be avoided at all costs. I had an appointment set for 8am-12pm. I got a call at 8:20am from a blocked number. I wasn't able to answer it in time and no voicemail was left. I didn't think anything of it because usually companies are more professional than that. Around 10:30 I hadn't heard anything so I called Accord to confirm my appointment since I had not gotten a confirmation call since I scheduled the appointment. When I spoke to the lady she said that the appointment was put into the system as a missed appointment on MY behalf! Uh, excuse me?! I told her that I never got a phone call confirming the appointment, I never got a call 30 minutes before the technicians arrival like I was told I would, there was no doorbell ring or knock on my door, and I have video footage of who I assume was the technician pulling up to my house rolling down the passenger side window, taking a picture of my house and then driving away 3 minutes later. When I spoke to the customer service rep and told her that there was no call, no knock, nobody walking up to my door on my ring camera, video footage of the technician sitting in the car and driving off, she said she would talk to management and call me back in 30 minutes. I never got a call back. I called back and sat on hold for 30 minutes. You could tell they kept putting the call on hold because they recognized my number and didnt want to deal with me. I call back on my son's phone and they answered immediately, while the original call was still on hold. The lady I spoke to then told me there wasnt any supervisors working today amd that I am basically a liar because they have a grainy picture of the front of my house. Are people actually that stupid that they think people don't have cameras around their houses, or that they can get away with being lazy and not doing their job? It's no wonder this company only has 1 star ratings. The only reason why they're getting one star from me is because I have to give 1 in order to leave my review. Horrible customer service, awful work ethic, disgusting behavior. I hope if you ever have to have work done you do your research and steer clear of this ridiculous company. read more

Accord appliance came to my home to diagnose an issue with my refrigerator involving the ice maker not working. Within five minutes of arrival, the technician damaged the water line behind the refrigerator, resulting in my main water line needing to be shut off for multiple days, and a plumber being paid to come out and fix it. This technician also advised me that the ice maker was broken due to a manufacturer defect, and that it would be no problem to come back and fix it under the AHS home warranty. However, he gave AHS a different story. He told them that the ice maker was broken due to the door being overextended. This is physically impossible due to where the refrigerator is placed. The door can't even open all the way, let alone be overextended, because the door touches the neighboring wall before reaching its full extension. I've spoken to other contractors, as well as friends and family who have worked with Accord Appliance, and apparently they have a reputation for this sort of thing across the board. Avoid this business like the plague. read more

Avoid this company--they fabricate "misuse" to deny legitimate warranty claims. If your home warranty company assigns this contractor to your job, do yourself a favor and immediately ask for a reassignment. They were dispatched through Fidelity National Home Warranty to inspect our dishwasher door spring retainers. The technician who showed up was polite and explicitly told me in person that the plastic parts had simply aged, degraded, and broken over time--a classic wear-and-tear issue. However, behind the scenes, they submitted a completely different report to the warranty company claiming "misuse," which caused Fidelity to deny the claim outright. When confronted with the contradiction between what the technician said to my face and what they wrote in their official report, they offered no resolution. This seems to be a pattern based on their abysmal rating. Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the out-of-pocket expenses: refuse this contractor the moment your home warranty company names them. read more

THE WORST COMPANY EVER! BEWARE! They are scam artists. They came out 3 times to fix our leaking fridge and cooktop. Our microwave screen began having issues recently where some of the numbers weren't visible anymore. Purchased the products through Costco and Allstate Protection Plans was the warranty company. Do not, do not, for the love of God, do not hire this company. I'm left to believe that AHS and this crapy deceiving company have some sort of kick back. Was forced to go through them because of American Home Shield home warranty for our washer. We paid $125 for the deductible for a repair company to fix it. It's been over a month. The timeline is wait a week for your appointment, another week to get the part that is not in stock, then another week for an appointment once the part gets there. They didn't fix it correctly so we started the same process all over again. 2 months in, and they only offered $200 for another repair or buyout. We have spend more on the service fee and weekly laundromat visits. AHS does everything in their power to avoid to buy you a new appliance. They said they have the right to try and repair as many times as they want. I decided to just buy a new washer. Avoid Accord Appliance(their manager never called me back) and cancel AHS. Save your monthly payments to buy or professional repair an appliance when something goes wrong. I would be embarrassed and ashamed to work for this crappy company. And yes call me owner or manager if you want to discuss further but knowing it won't happen cause you don't have a leg to stand on. Your tech never even showed up and closed out my service ticket. read more
