He was up front about the age of our fridge and if we were thinking about replacing it any time soon, he would not bother with the repair. Since a new fridge is not in our budget, we went with the new ice maker. He wasn't sure if another part would be needed, so he said he would order that part too. 8 days later, I got a text saying that the part came in with an open appointment time, if it worked for me. Communication was very efficient! Anthony came replaced the ice maker and tested the other part. My old one was working so he didn't have to replace it saving me $120! Also, the charge for the initial diagnostic appointment was applied to the final repair cost so that was a savings too! It's been about a month and my new ice maker is working like a champ! I called the company asking where he was and they told me he came and I didn't answer my door. I live in a gated community and you need an ID to come into the community. I am texted any time anyone shows up and no one was let in. So he didn't show up, and he didn't call to let me know that he was not able to get in because he forgot his ID. Absolutely taken aback that the company would put blame on me that the service person did not show up. They give me a second appointment the next day and the guy comes out and says oh this broke on your washer, this is a common problem with these machines, lint often gets stuck and something got back there to throw the balance off to make this happen. I see this all the time. Then he proceeds to tell me that the home warranty company will replace this, because it's too expensive to fix, I'll even put in that the pump is broken so it will escalate the issue. You will probably get a few machines to choose from or you can opt for cash, but beware they may low ball you and you have to yell at them to get you a fair compensation. Turns out in his report he wrote something entirely different than what he told me. He wrote that the problem was due to past over loading which in my machine if it's over loaded or off balance it would not run. So now the warranty won't cover it. Do not trust this company!

Many times its a simple part replacement. And you don't need a HVAC license to buy parts from here! It's going to be 100 Degrees this weekend and our AC broke. After doing some initial diagnosis, I found out that I needed what I thought was an $80 part. I called Vinnie, and gave him the part number. He said i have a replacement part that works for $30! And he also checked another relay for me. (the resistance and continuity across the part) and gave me confidence that all I needed was the 1 part. He also made a phone call to another expert to make sure my wiring colors were correct. They don't just sell you the parts, they are knowledgable and guide you through the repair.
