Came in to fix my Samsung S22 Ultra screen ($280) which was thought to be the problem. Had to order, but arrived quickly in 2 days. Also was going to change the battery at no extra cost. As he was trying to replace my screen, we found out that the screen itself was not the actual issue. The issue was the connector had broken a piece (that will need to be sautered back) and detached from the motherboard causing my screen to be black. This was going to be another replacement which would extra $$ and as I was contemplating if i wanted to do so at this moment, he was kind enough to offer a full refund for the screen with no charge for any labor. Young is a great guy who will do everything in his power to help you get your phone fixed in a timely-manner. I had an issue with my iPhone 11 Pro Max back in November with the charging port not charging and my bottom speaker sounding very choppy. I knew I needed both parts replaced. He was upfront with me about the cost for both of issues and even gave me a discount. Like I said, great guy who values your time and business! He even found that my screws for my iPhone were rusted up(no idea how that happened!). Even during the holidays(around Thanksgiving), Young communicated with me if the parts had arrived or not and unfortunately due to it being the busy season we had a shipping delay for one of the parts. Young went out of his way to reach out to another shop with friends of his who had the other part and said that they should be able to repair both. He gave me the part he had and I brought it over to his friend's shop. Within an hour, they were done and my phone was working like new! Two months later, my girlfriend's phone ended up needing a new charging port as well since we got both our phones on release month in 2019 and they're just old in general at this point. 6 months later I managed to break my screen leaning into a table. The tempered glass was actually still in pristine condition; so naturally I came back here again! But this time I brought my girlfriends phone in at the same time. Again great customer service, super easy going and helps explain different screen types. In under a week's time, I dropped my new S9 which I did not put into a protective cover yet. The bottom right corner was smashed and there was scratches on the top front of the glass. That was on July 03. On July 04, I was frantically searching on Yelp for the best cell phone repair shop. I was able to use the websites fo several repair places and received quotes ranging from $219 and up. I even researched on the Samsung website for their authorized repair shop(s) was in Southern CA, whose reviews were so so. I was looking for a repair shop that was going to be competent, honest, reasonably priced and whom I felt comfortable (trusting) with. I contacted the owner, Young, of Access Point Distribution. I utilized the Yelp quote to request a information and was expecting to hear a response back on July 05. To my surprise, I received a response from Young within a few minutes even though his repair shop was closed for the Holiday. He patiently answered all of my questions in a back and forth type of communication between us. Young indicated I may have a few options for repairing but he would need to inspect my phone in order to give a more accurate price quote based on what needed to be done. I decided I would stop by his shop on July 05, so he could take a look at my damaged phone. Unfortunately, it was damaged beyond one of the options he spoke of and he explained in a patient and easy to understand manner why the repair he recommended was needed. He explained to me that there are only OEM Samsung glass covers/screens and no third party replacements. He advised me he would call me as soon as the needed part arrived later that afternoon on the daily UPS delivery. I returned the next morning to have Young replace my entire glass frame/screen for $270. He advised me it would take approximately 30-40 minutes, which gave me time to check out the Korean grocery store and several restaurants (the restaurants open at 11 AM) his repair shop is located in. Young's repair shop is located immediately to your left upon entering the storefront. If I, my family, friends, or co-workers ever need any type cell phone repair or a battery you cannot change out easily, I will definitely be using or recommending the services of Access Point Distribution. read more
