Within a month the vehicle vibrated and so bad we decided it was dangerous to drive. Seems the inspection station failed to see the holes rusted through the frame of the car and never should have passed inspection according to the legitimate and honest mechanic who found the problems. The tailpipe rusted through where it connected to the engine and feel off while driving. The final straw was when the right front axle rusted so bad that the axle disconnected from the front right wheel and the car became a three wheel drive instead of AWD. The dealer refused to offer any corrective actions quoting "You signed the Purchased as is document" and the "30 day warranty had expired. Should you find a car there you like and take it to a real mechanic and have them inspect the vehicle and assure you that it is mechanically safe to drive. Pine Manor is not to be trusted. Do this to avoid the $8,000 mistake I made by dealing with Pine Manor Auto Sales

The waiting accomodations were comfortable.It was fairly simple to schedule an appointment online to visit, and the staff were all super pleasant. Within 5 minutes of arrival, my sports car was being inspected by someone who was too bid to get into it without difficulty. He seemed to be taking a plethora of pictures, and kept walking around and around the vehicle out in the parking lot. I honestly don't know how to access the engine, and apparently he didn't either, because he brought it indoors, jacked it up, and was done in minutes after which he vanished into some back room, ostensibly to enter the VIN and do a background check on my little car. If not for the lower price offered by my dealer, I wouldn't have minded selling them my car. Did I mention that you leave with the check? ( I had to wait several days to receive my check in the mail from my dealer). Overall, I was impressed and would recommend if you need to sell and /or purchase a vehicle.

Sure, the shop isn't the prettiest, but that's part of why they don't charge 'pretty shop' prices! If you bring your own parts, they'll install them as long as they're the correct ones. Just don't expect a warranty in those cases--it's a straightforward labor job, and they do it right every time. If you live close to them, I recommend giving them a try.

Not sure why, I bring it in and they check the grounds, replace the battery and set up an appointment with LB Smith Ford because the transmission is also grinding through gears. LB Smith couldn't do anything, okay. So it gets scheduled again about 2 months later to go back to LB Smith for the same issues, Raul offers me a loaner car. So I drop my car off with him, and get this loaner. A spray painted old ass Ford Taurus with the check engine light on and the gas gauge doesn't work. Alright whatever it's a car, Ive had beaters before. As long as it goes from A to B and back to A it's fine. Wrong. I had it for a day, it sat in my parking lot. It was one of the sub 0 days with snow and ice everywhere and super windy and I go to get in to go to the store and the door won't latch. I called Raul and told him and he told me it was probably frozen so try to thaw it. They were busy cleaning snow off the cars on their lot. Okay, well that didn't work so I called back in an hour or so later and told him it didn't work and it didn't latch and asked if I could tie it up with rope or tape it shut to try and drive it the 2 miles across the river to his shop so he could look at it or if he could send someone out. His response was freaking out stating "no you'll ruin the paint I don't know what you want me to do" maybe I want you to give me options to fix the piece of shit beater that I was given so it's drivable. Some words were exchanged and he tells me "I don't know who the fuck youy think you're talking to" cussing me out. He dropped off the piece of crap car that he sold me back to me and picked up his piece of crap beater. Fast forward to today Sept 19th, and my car has just had the TCM and Clutch fully replaced by Ford for 0 charge OUT of warranty. Would have been nice to have this handled months ago. When I asked why the owner was trading it, I was told to just upgrade. It had passed inspection 8 months before, and buying it from a dealership and repeatedly told "it's a good truck" implied to me that there might be some maintenance needed but nothing major. Instead within 3 months we've changed the transmission fluid then the entire transmission. We've also had to buy new tires because of dry rot and the rims that were too bent for the new tires. We also had to replace the electrical panel. Again I understand "as is" but a little bit of honesty would have gone a long way with what was in the future for us - spending more than twice what we paid for repairs that were probably known or at least suspected. After the test drive I asked about one or two seemingly minor things that we wondered about (one rear window wouldn't go down) and just got a shrug as if it wasn't a big deal or they had no idea what that might mean. We aren't mechanics, so we have to trust a car dealer to be truthful. And, again, I thought being a dealership and with all of these glowing reviews we could trust him when he said "it's a good truck." Unfortunately this is why used car salesmen get a bad rap.
