The room was quite spacious. The hotel / staff texted a couple of times (maybe automated) to confirm if we needed anything or if there were any issues. We didn't have any problems, but at least they are proactive about it. This property is less than 10 minutes away from Sky Harbor Airport via a shuttle, which you reserve via a QR code at the desk. The shuttle apparently runs at the top and bottom of each hour 24/7. The shuttle was full (at 5 a.m.) but the driver was helpful and efficient. The area close to the hotel seemed a bit sketchy. However, there also did not appear to be anything close to the hotel that would motivate you to walk in the area (restaurants, etc.). If you just need easy access to the airport for an early flight, this is worth considering.

This one wasn't my favorite at all…read more Besides being right next to an abandoned building where there is homeless city sleeping on the ground, or in the sidewalk across from the hotel, I guess the area is "OK". The room wasn't the cleanest. The shower handle is lose so when you tried to keep it at a certain temp, it moves down so you end up nearly scalding yourself, figured this out after a couple of showers trying to figure out what the heck was going on. Shower door has awful design so you end up with swimming pool in the floor, hence a million towels needed. Used the iron, thank god I looked at the bottom, obviously has never been cleaned. Good thing I used a washcloth or my clothes would've been damaged. The simplest of cleaning behind the bathroom door would be nice, there was goo on the floor that goof off would take care of in a minute. The AC thermostat only allows for 65, but it feels much warmer than that in the room. They also only clean the room every other day, so what's the point if your there only 3 days, like they would clean it the day before we leave? Dumb! What happened to rooms getting serviced daily, you most certainly pay for it. The Ritual Bar on the 4th floor was a definite plus to this restaurant, service, food and drinks over the top, this I highly recommend. Overall, do I think I would stay there again, highly doubtful.

I stay here because it is very convenient (I.e., bar in the lobby, restaurant on site is open after 4 or 5 PM, it is near many restaurants and stores, has a great gym, easy access to stairs as I like to get my steps in, upgraded rooms, there is apeloton bike in the gym, Nice pool and jacuzzi, familiar faces, etc.), always clean, front office staff are helpful, allservice is usually friendly, and we are diamond members so we get a few extra perks. I do have to say this time around, my husband and I booked 5 rooms for my sisters and their children. Apparently, the kids loved the signature cookies (that I am always bragging about) so they kept asking for cookies and a lady at the front office did make a comment to them which made them feel uncomfortable. However, overall, the service was great. I just would want the front office to let me know if they had concerns versus telling my nieces and nephews something as I was their host here. Luckily, my family did not take offense. However, it saddens me as I do not get to see my family often and I wanted to make sure everyone even the youngest one of my nieces and nephews felt welcome.

I did self parking at the Brickyard Parking Garage for $16 for 24 hours which was a 3 minute walk across a side street and down a short flight of stairs. I found it super convenient and would recommend it to anyone looking to skip valet. The lobby was nice, very clean and open with high ceilings and a comfortable sitting area. Austin got me checked in quickly and hooked up with their welcome package that included two free margaritas at the rooftop bar Skysill, two free cups of coffee or tea at their coffee shop and two free smoothies from Terra their restaurant on the 1st floor. I stayed in one of their Executive Suites With Mountain View and when I say the room took my breath away, I actually gasped!! It was more than I could hope for with beautiful views overlooking Tempe and Phoenix in both the living room and bedroom, a big comfy bed, a nice sized table to get work done at and a beautiful bathroom complete with a spacious shower and luxurious soaking tub! The room also came with bathrobes, complementary water bottles in the mini fridge, wine glasses and a corkscrew. I really loved being able to relax knowing everything was thought out! The rooftop bar and pool was beautiful, again with breathtaking views. The welcome margarita was good and strong but the Hibiscus Paloma was a show stopper! I also really enjoyed the rooftop patio the next morning when I took my laptop up to enjoy the sunrise over the city while getting my work day started. My morning was a breeze, enjoying beautiful views, my complimentary tea and smoothie but the standout of my stay was Aneesa at concierge. I had a last minute schedule change for a meeting that left me stressed for time to checkout and make my meeting but Aneesa saved the day when, without hesitation, she moved my checkout time back so I could complete my Teams call in the privacy of my room and not feel rushed to leave. I only ended up needing 30 extra minutes but I can't thank her enough for giving me that extra hour! It's people like her who keep me coming back somewhere and I'm happy to say I've already recommended this hotel to a few friends and work colleagues. A couple places I feel the hotel may have room for improvement on is stocking additional amenities for the bath like epsom salts or bubble bath and the windows of my room could have been cleaner but those little things really didn't bother me much at all. Honestly, I just walked across the street to the 24hr CVS and bought some bubble bath after my drinks and enjoyed a nice relaxing soak, it was perfect! The view is one of the best views in Tempe I have seen so far! The drinks for happy hour is always good! It's super close to mill Ave where all the bars and city life is! Super convenient place. I hope he's there next trip. The only ding here is lack of supervision by the pool and hot tub. SERIOUS liability here for the hotel should an accident occur. While we were in the hot tub a 3 year old kid with arm floaties got in with no adult in sight. A woman asked him where his parent were and he pointed to the bar seating area at the far end where a group of adults were drinking. Eventually one of the adults hung his arms over the gate and tried waving the hot tub boy in but the kid said no and the guy went back to drinking. Also in the main pool there were a bunch of 6-7 yo kids horsing around, again no visible adult supervision. I understand you don't want to rattle guests but little kids do not belong in the hot tub, period.

But having a great coffee option just steps away made up for it. Check-in was smooth, but I was disappointed not to receive the top floor room I had requested when I made my reservation over a month ago. It's frustrating when notes on a reservation aren't reviewed, and now we're stuck with what sounds like a herd of elephants above us. I chose not to ask for a room change or have the front desk intervene, but I did deduct one star for this preventable issue. This establishment is not well soundproofed. That said, our room is spotless. The hotel is new, and everything feels fresh and clean. The beds are super comfortable, and the bathroom is perfect, modern and functional. The complimentary breakfast is fairly standard, but the young man working the area was fantastic, attentive and organized. I enjoyed my oatmeal and waffle! The gym and pool area are 5-star quality. Across the street is the Tempe Marketplace, where you can find anything you might need during your stay. There's also a bar and restaurant in the lobby, which is perfect for meeting up with other guests or grabbing a quick cocktail without going far.
