I was helping my children plan a surprise birthday visit for my husband. They needed to get from Sky Harbor to our house at 10:30 pm on a Thursday night. They're in Chicago. Know nothing about AZ. I found Lux here on Yelp. Gave them a call just to see. Best phone I could have made. They made it so easy to make arrangements for them to be picked up and brought to our home in Surprise. They give excellent service at a very great price. The driver actually showed up to pick them up in a completely decked out Tesla. He was courteous, and just an all around great guy. I Researched several shuttle services in the Sky Harbor airport area before leaving Honolulu. Most were priced much higher, several did not service the area I was visiting (Prescott Valley). I don't normally post negative reviews but I am super disappointed. Yesterday I got married and needed a car service to pick my husband and I up after the reception. I booked a driver to pick us up at 11pm and even spoke with someone directly to confirm the reservation.We had a grand exit with sparklers and when we exited the building, there was no town car there to pick us up! Called the driver and he was still 20 minutes away. (Which means he wouldn't have been there till 1130) So there we were, standing outside of our reception hall with no one to take us home! I was so embarrassed that even our guests were being picked up by ubers and taxis us, the BRIDE AND GROOM had no car! I would have appreciated a heads up so at least we could have made last minute arrangements BEFORE our sparklers exit but I was the one who had to reach out for an ETA!!! Love Lux Rides! Used them for the first time this month after a disaster with Super Shuttle not long ago. We needed airport transportation from our home to the airport and then picked up when we returned. We travel with A LOT of bags. I had emailed to check they could accommodate us and they were very helpful and got everything booked. 24 hours before the first pickup we got a confirmation text from our driver, Derrick. He was on time, courteous and fun to talk with. We were lucky enough to have him pick us up from the airport. He got there on time and let us know he was waiting for us but had to wait a while coming through International Arrivals and customs. Absolutely amazing service! This time I needed a party bus for my daughter's 13th birthday and decided to call them. I spoke to Johnny with my many requests and questions, and he was always so patient, kind and responsive. We ended up booking it and had a great time. The kids had a blast. Johnny ended up being our driver, which we were thrilled about, and he was so obliging. I truly don't even know where to begin- they're THE best. I rarely take the time to leave a review, and I am even more rarely wowed by customer service but LUX topped the charts in every possible way. I was traveling alone to in Scottsdale with my five month old baby - which I was sure would be stressful and exhausting - but LUX managed to make every step delightful. Jonny was so responsive and patient with me as I tried to organize transportation for three different groups of girls arriving on several different flights for a bachelorette party-- even when the flights changed he was already on top of it. He worked with me to make the whole thing seamless. Then, the driver, Elizabeth, went the extra mile in every way that was possible -coming inside the airport to find me when my phone didn't work, holding my baby so I could install the car seat (that they provided for me so I didn't have to bring my own) helping me out with my big bag.... I actually forgot the baby bed at the airport and she went all the way back and brought it to me). I'm not exaggerating when I say I've never had better service anywhere.
