I needed to wash my king size comforter set and mattress pad and was in search of a clean laundry mat as it wouldn't fit in my home washer. I did a quick Yelp search to find a location and came across this place. I was pleasantly surprised upon walking in. It was cleaner than I expected and wasn't packed at all. I was in and out of there after a little over an hour. It could have been longer but it really didn't feel like it. I would definitely go back and have already recommended this place to a few people. read more

This laundry mat is garbage. I put my clothes to dry for 50 mins. The lady that works here is like that dryer doesn't work. And I tell her why don't they have a sign or something. I move my clothes to the bigger dryer, I put like 45 to 50 mins AGAIN and the worker is like "you exaggerate too much" so much clothes in the dryer. That is very uncalled for, and extremely rude. Honestly, they need to communicate more with the customers advising what works and what doesn't! And need better workers who are actually nice. If you don't like your job, GET ANOTHER ONE. I won't be coming here anymore. Garbage place. read more

The ladies that work at this place don't know what they're doing. I take the same shirts to have them dry clean and every time I go it's a different price. I constantly ask them when will they have a set price, and all they say is, they are new employees. They change employees all the time. Today I went to drop off clothing for dry cleaning and again a new employee, I show up at 9:28 pm they close at 10:30pm I open the door and the lady nods her head saying no! I look at her and ask her what is she trying to say, she says "we're closed." I tell her that I'm just dropping off dry cleaning cloths and that her door says they are open until 10:30pm she nods her head again no! I tell her that it shows she's not the owner and leave. I had a bag of about $45.00 worth of dry cleaning clothes, I'll just take my business somewhere else that really wants it. Karen read more

Three items that they washed came back ruined. Two of them, a shirt and a pair of shorts were stained with what looked like bleach, and the third item, a brand new shirt that I'd only worn once came back completely shrunken and with pieces of it tattered, like it got caught in something in either the washer or dryer. Additionally, a good friend of mine went to pick my stuff up, but ended up leaving empty handed. The two women who were working first completely ignored my friend, and then acted like they couldn't understand a word of English - all while they were trying to not giggle to one another and acting like ignoring the "gringo" customer and pretending not to understand English was such a funny joke between them. read more

I left my clothes as dry cleaning for the first time ever and all my white clothes had a grayish blue dye to it! I put them in bleach and water overnight and the dye will not come out! THEY MESSED UP ALL MY WHITE CLOTHES, UNDER GARMENTS AND SHEETS! I called the lady last night and told her what happened. She told me that she did put bleach on the white courts like I reminded her on the phone since shifts changed from the original lady I left it with. That they don't dry colors and whites separately! I told her that has nothing to do with all my white clothes changing! I've washed my white clothes all the time and dried it with other color clothes and nothing happened to them! read more

This review is for the drop off and pick up service. It's a complete disaster. I've given them multiple opportunities to correct their incompetency as this location is close to my home, but they can't seem to get it together. They have lost my laundry bag three separate times. The last time they mixed my clothes up with other people's clothes. When I got to the laundromat, my clothes was tagged with somebody else's name. They need to hire better staff and train people properly. This is unacceptable. read more

Nice and clean. Perfect for those that are lazy and don't want to do laundry. I drop off my laundry on Friday and it's ready the next day.

The new owners of Acadia Coin Laundry have really worked hard to turn this place into a comfortable and welcoming destination for doing laundry. I know very few people (actually none) who enjoy doing laundry, but visiting Acadia helps to take the pain out of the process! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice amenities. Clean machines. You can't go wrong! read more

Excellent place to wash clothes quickly. Fast, clean, friendly, and affordable. Two thumbs up!

If I could get this place zero stars I would. This was my first time here, and I wanted a place close to home that was clean, empty and friendly. It was the opposite of friendly I'll tell you that. One of the what look like a newer washer was not throwing out water. It was all soap. So when I told the lady the worked here ( with a tremendous attitude and didn't smile) she said these washers throw out little water. I said so what am I supposed to do? She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I went to her and I said well you can't expect clothes to wash well with little water? Can I have a refund? It's been on for 15 minutes and no water. And I could see some of the clothes were spinning dry. She tells me I can't give you money back if it works. Everyone uses these. Then she comes back with a bucket and tells me to go to the bathroom and toss in some water. What?! Wow. So I did that even after the clothes were done they did not clean well. Of course, what do you expect with little water. Also the place isn't that cheap that washer was $3.50 and a waste. Most of the washers I opened prior to that for some blankets smelled terrible too. I had to open several to find a clean one. The soap dispenser for the washers for gunky and dirty. The only plus side was that it's empty. It's a little hidden. However I won't be back.My advice: Do not come here. read more

Good customer service. The owners, Morty and his wife, were very helpful and friendly. Their machines are in good condition and they are open 7 days a week. Good to know I have these folks down the street should my washer/dryer ever crap out again. :) read more
