I live in an old historical part of Baltimore and came home to the lovely surprise of a thick swarm of flying ant-like insects all over the property. They were congregating around the old wood piles, so I was certain they were eating it and called up in a panic. (I had never dealt with a pest issue before and I was terrified at the thought of something possibly eating my recent purchase). So I called and he asked me to text him a few pictures. Turns out it was just citronella ants. (Generally harmless and definitely don't eat wood.) He could have easily taken me for a ride in my naivety, but he didn't. I'll take expertise, honesty, and integrity in a heartbeat. I'll also have him first in my recommendation list for others or in case I have an actual problem in the future.

They did send out a representative, unannounced, a well-dressed female, that was hardly in any position to climb up a two-story ladder to look at carpenter bees. Bottom line is you will speak to more unqualified individuals apparently looking to upsell at Orkin and never get to anyone that knows what's going on.

I get another email stating my appointment was rescheduled for 8/24. I have removed items from the appropriate places for them to work and now my home looks a damn mess. This has happened several times with them and I am just fed up with the non verbal communication. How can you reschedule my appt for another day not knowing if I have other plans.. Then the rep claims he don't know what happened. Bull!!! I know. Someone changed it without consulting me. That's what happened. This was my last straw!!! I am so done. Looking for another company asap. I would not recommend this company if you don't want to keep going through non communication or keep being cancelled or rescheduled on the day of your appointments without explanation.
