Arsen @ Barolli Plumbing & Heating came to review the leaks happening in a shower from a fairly new…read morerenovation, and spent time trouble shooting. He pinpointed exactly where the problem areas are in the shower and outlined carefully and methodically what needs to be done to fix it. He was super polite, professional and friendly. He seems like a very honest and kind person to work with. He explained that I'm better off hiring a contractor to fix the actual shower base and threshold. He also took time to review other issues that I am concerned with, regarding the plumbing work done in that particular bathroom, and he behaved in a very patient and kind manner looking carefully at each area of concern. I wish I had met him when I first did this renovation! But at least now I can tell that he is a guy worth connecting my friends and neighbors to if one ever needs to hire a competent and honest plumber.

Luckily somebody on our neighborhood Facebook group recommended Tommy a while back and I left him a voice message. He called back right away, was available the next morning, showed up on time, fixed our issues in no time and was overall a really nice person to deal with. I hope we won't have any plumbing issues for a while, but I'll definitely make sure to save his number. Not affiliated in any way, but I was so happy with his service that I want to pay it forward and will definitely pass on his contact details to others who may ask for a plumber recommendation or not :) Happy to attest to the previous two reviews here on Yelp. Give Tommy a call if you're in search of a great plumber!

I have nothing but good things to say about O'Grady Plumbing NYC....I have had a main drain backed…read moreup issue 3 times since I bought my house 1 1/2 years ago. I had used Empire but I felt they only solved the issue temporarily and they were very costly to happen again after 6montha. So I decided to call Roto Rooter. Two young in experience Plumbers came to my home. They stayed 30mins used a 50ft snake once and told me there was nothing that can be done that O would need to contact the city to break the concrete to get at the drain with the blockage. Looking through the internet for another Plumber I saw great reviews about O'Grady so decided to get another opinion. John called me and he was super sweet and tmasked all the right questions. He sent over Con. Con was so knowledgeable and went beyond any Plner that we have had work on the drain. He snaked twice, did the jet three times and did the camera to show me what was going with my the drain. If it was another Plumber they would have gave up after a hour. But Con worked on my drain for 4 hours and made the drain was good. With all that said they also charged me half the cost of the work. Any other Company would have charged double or triple. I recommend O'Grady 1000%! They are good people who care!

We hired A Real Good Plumber (Paul Shay) in July 2026 under a signed $4,000 contract to restore gas…read moreservice to our three-family building in the Bronx - a building sitting without gas, with tenants displaced. The signed contract required a $2,000 "startup payment," which we paid, and included filing the required LAA with the NYC Dept. of Buildings, which he confirmed in writing would be filed within five business days. Twenty-nine days later, the LAA was never filed. Instead, after a site visit, he sent new contracts nearly tripling the price - then claimed the new price was "in addition to" the signed contract, and finally claimed our $2,000 startup payment was actually a "site visit fee," something that appears nowhere in any document he wrote. We terminated for non-performance and demanded the refund; as of this review it has not been returned. Every claim in this review is supported by the signed contract, payment records, and his own emails.
