The plumber was on time, he was courteous and even covered his boots with booties so as not to track into our house. He took pictures of the work and showed it to me when the job was finished. The internet said the job would take a few hours, he was done in 40 minutes. He cleaned up nicely. You wouldn't even know he had been there. We had a great experience start to finish with ABV. When my in-laws' shower faucet began to get too loose and stop working, my husband tried to fix it. This, of course, resulted in the faucet breaking off completely and our need for some immediate help and repair. My husband sent out a yelp inquiry to a number of plumbers and ABV was the first to respond and also give us a flat rate of $125 for the repair. No one else would give us a flat rate and were also charging just to have someone look at it. We set up an appointment the next morning with ABV. The plumber showed up right on time, giving us a text when he was 20 minutes away. He came prepared with the parts needed, was able to fix the issue in less than 30 minutes, and as a result only charged us a third of what his original flat rate we agreed on was since the repair was so easy and quick. You don't see that kind of honesty these days! The job was done with excellent quality and the faucet works like a dream now. read more

The project was not a simple plumbing repair; a cold water line beneath a small area of our garage floor had burst before we purchased our home and washing the car and watering a portion of our lawn was challenging. Only two of the four contractors came-out to even look at the project. After a little emailing back and forth I had a cost estimate (reasonable) and scheduled date. The two plumbers showed up on time and completed the project in half a day; their work was excellent. They cleaned-up fairly well, but their shoe covers were a little dirty and have to hire someone else to repair the concrete floor. That's why I rated them a four instead of a five. ABV was great. They were assigned to my home warranty case for two leaky shower faucets. A previous plumber was afraid to even touch the faucets because the handles would not come off easily. ABV took on the challenge and both faucets are fixed. There was a 3rd faucet that would not get hot but was not covered under the home warranty they fixed that as well while they were here for a very small fee. If I ever need a plumber again I will tell my home warranty I want them to send these guys. read more

Our kitchen sink got clogged again I called Chris my go to person. He is able to schedule me within 2 days not right away but no big deal we just need to figure out how to function with clogged sink. Ivo his associates came and tried everything but without a success. Recommend to replace the pipes (just the kitchen). I agreed and able to schedule it the following day. Ivo ( not sure if I spelled his name correctly) did a wonderful job. I felt sorry for him because of the time and effort he made. Our pipes are fully clogged with you don't want to know, it's completely blocked. Very nice person. I am just hoping that I will not see him again for good reason. Actually it was not a crack in our chimney as I told you repeatedly. It just had to be sealed where the water heater is attached to the ceiling. Green Tech Plumbing fixed it yesterday. I recently purchase a new toilet. Although, I have installed dozens of toilets in my lifetime, I recently met my match, with this new purchase. It was heavier than most other models and the bolt holes are hidden from view. I called ABV plumbing after several attempts at installing it myself. My level of frustration, prior to calling, was off the charts. The gentlemen from ABV was able to come out within hours. He took a look at the toilet and my current plumbing. He then immediately went to work. He was courteous and was vigilant about any covid concerns. He even donned protective shoe covers. He needed to sweat some copper fittings and add a new valve. This was done in under 10 minutes. He then prepared the toilet for install. His associate came and together they lifted the 118 pound toilet onto the bolts in one shot. I would have been jealous if not for the fact that I was so relieved to see this done so swiftly. The toilet and surrounding area were then wiped clean. I took 59 minutes from start to finish. This would be impressive for even the simplest toilet installs. I found ABV by using Yelp. I seriously expected him to say the job was too difficult. I am very happy to say I am wrong. I called because we have a spigot on the front of the house that has just a trickle of water. A spigot, you know, that connects to a pipe in your house through a wall, that you connect your garden house to. I wanted it evaluated so that I can use it water the front yard, but more importantly to make sure a leak wasn't causing the lack of water pressure. The woman I spoke to originally said they only do indoor plumbing. Huh? Did she think we had a clog in our outhouse? I explained the plumbing for all of this is indoors, and runs through the wall for use with a garden hose. Come on, every house has these. She said she'd talk to the plumber, and then called back to say the manager said they don't do that kind of work. They don't evaluate pipes with limited flow that may possibly be caused by a leak. Good to know. Guess they'd be called a boutique shop, with such limited service. Or just a really bad plumbing service. read more
