This shop has been around a long time. I am happy to say they have been consistent with their scents and product offering over the years. I specifically enjoy the fig scent and almond scent soaps.

Such a cute place!! And the prices are great!! You must go to this precious shop in the Dallas Farmers Market! I purchased some soaps today that are still in the bag on the kitchen counter. Ever time I get near them it smells Devine and keeps drawing me in! They also have an awesome little Shea butter called shimmer bronze it makes my arms so soft with a slight touch of sparkle to them! I love it!! I was hooked as soon as I walked in! The scent is soft but heavenly. I want my whole house to smell like that! They have candles too! Go check em out!

Oh yeah, they also have candles :)

Eek! This place really lives up to its name. My mom and I were at the Dallas Farmers Market on Easter Sunday, and we discovered this little shop at one of the stalls there. I will say, I've always been into beauty and persona lcare products--probably a bit too into them. I have boxes and cabinets full of products that are waiting their turn to be used. I can't help myself, though. I love good smells. I'm always on the lookout for new brands and new smells. Ok, I'm insatiable. I picked up the gardenia soap, and I noticed right away how fragrant these soaps are. Way more than other soaps. It wasn't a one-off, either. Many of the soap scents had quite a throw, and there were multiple yummy flavors. My mom took advantage of their buy 5 for $20 deal, and I bought 1 bar in Oak Moss, which is an earthy/honey scent. I used it when I got home, an it made my bathroom smell great. I can't get over the smell--I want to eat it.

The best after smell and leaves skin so soft!

Great stuff! I love the Warm Vanilla Sugar Scrub. Its my favorite. It not only leaves your skin really soft but has the best after smell ever. I love it!

Purchased 5 soap bars from the Coppell farmers market this morning! Such a great experience! I gave my 5th soap to a friend as a gift

Like the Bishop Arts store, this is easily one of the best smelling shops I've ever entered. The…read moreminute I opened the door the great scent just drew me into the shop. Upon entering there were candles, candles and more candles. I usually frequent the Bishop Arts location but getting there is challenge due to the construction in the area. Also, since I was in the area doing some other things I decided to stop into this location. While the layout of the two stores is similar, this location is more spacious which allows more for more comfortable shopping experience during the busy periods. Also, because of the larger space, they have more product in the store and ready for purchase. Something to note is that while both locations carry the same items; because of demographics availability of certain items may be more readily available at one location than the other. Thankfully, my two favorite candles were in stock making my trip a success. The staff as this location are very welcoming and friendly. The person I worked with was very helpful in pointing out the candles I went for. Of the my two, I was worried that they didn't have one of them and she pointed to where they were and explained the labeling has changed which is why I walked right past them. Having covered a few of the similarities between the two locations; one area where they differ is parking. This location has a huge parking lot (it is shared with other businesses in the area) has plenty of parking. While I don't mind street parking (and walking), there is something to be said for a parking lot as it adds a level of convenience to the shopping experience. Because this was my first visit (I was unsure of the exact location amongst all the other shops), I ended up parking a distance away from the shop and walking to it. I will probably continue to do that as it allows me to still get the walking experiencing. If you're not into walking there are plenty of spaces right in front of the shop. I have been a huge fan of Society and their awesome candles for a few years. While this was my first visit to this location it will not be the last; I foresee many more visits in the future. If you are wanting some nice smelling candles or looking for a unique gift for someone I highly recommend you 'check-in' to Society.

I wasn't sure if it was a home decor shop or just candles, as I found out they are also a design company. Turns out this is their second location, the first being in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. This is just a candle boutique, not a home decor or design store. But the owners are designers and have an office elsewhere, if I understood correctly. I loved the look of the store and the salesperson was friendly and helpful. Their candles are pricy but LOVE all the scents and they make a great gift. Oh and I had to buy one for me too! I asked the salesgirl what scent was the most popular and she said No. 2 so that is what I bought for both me and my sister. She wrapped my sister's in a separate bag with tissue so my gift was ready to go! She also gave us tips on how to burn our candles-first time let them burn for 2-3 hours so they burn evenly and don't "hollow" out. Also cut the wick next time I use. I love my candle, I am burning it now! And my sister loved hers too! Will be back, this store is unique!

Let me preface this by saying that I worked in retail and high end retail for app 10 years total. Even working a minimum wage retail job in college, I would have been FIRED, no warning, no job retraining, nothing, just fired on the spot, get your stuff and leave now fired if I had dared to treat any customer the way I was treated today, making a total purchase of approximately $525 in about an hour ( I am a very fast and efficient shopper). The head person (not manager because this woman said her manager instructed her to treat customers like this) treated me like I was a criminal and a shop lifter, like I was going to steal their shit to trade for meth. I finally felt so insulted that I said to this old skinny blonde Nazi, "I didn't realize I was in a police station." Very clearly; she heard me the first time and another employee overheard. This Aryan stork said that she had never seen me in this store before, when I have been in that very same store 5 to 6 times this very year, including today's visit where I dropped a wad of $525! There is a super nice lady named Connie who works here; I remember Connie from way back and she remembered me. What is even more baffling: all these small brick and mortar stores are not only competing against Amazon BUT they are also now competing against the many small boutique online stores through Shop. And prices of many items in Sample house are not competitive with Amazon pricing and not even competitive with small online boutique pricing on Shop. Also re some of their cute "nostalgia" cottage core items: just go on Ebay and get the real thing for a steal. The store was not busy when I was there at about 11:45; other customers were purchasing 2 or 3 items or just looking; I was clearly their jackpot customer of the day. When I worked in high end retail and we saw a customer was going all out, we made a little celebration out of it with all the employees pitching in to help the customer and to help each other with tasks. This blonde Nazi needs to get into another line of work altogether! Customer service in retail is NOT her bag and I suspect NOTHING in customer service is her bag. Also, I was wearing very expensive new workout/yoga matching jacket and pants from a very high end retailer: meth addicts trying to shoplift stuff don't dress like this because they can't afford it and it would call too much attention to them. I am not adding this detail to be a snob (I bought the outfit on clearance) but to demonstrate how terribly this woman is misreading cues: she was definitely annoyed that I kept going to the back of the store and boy did she keep her eye on me!!! She practically accused me of trying to steal stuff by hiding it in an inexpensive gift bag, which I planned to purchase, when I was just trying to keep some smaller items organized!!! Talk about the Nazi Institute of Retail Management! I explained to the entire staff that I like buying all my gifts at one time to cover multiple holidays and birthdays: I already have most of my Christmas shopping done at end of April! Also, I explained I was buying gifts for an aunt going through a tough time in physical rehab, for my cousin who has an ongoing physical illness and for my 94 year old mother. The ideal customer base for this sort of store, right? Not according to the Nazi. Never coming back: can get same or similar stuff on Amazon, through stores on Shop and on Ebay.

I'll bag a peak any day but if you're sitting ashore you'll be lucky to spot my head far enough out to make you a little nervous, a true mermaid if you will. Having recently relocated to a what might as well be considered a landlocked state (as far North as I am) with no mountains, I was intrigued by the offerings reminding me of home (Malibu & Laguna) and other travels. I booked a class online for bestie and I to partake in over the weekend. Candle making is pretty straight forward, the type of thing I often wonder why Queen of Hobbies hasn't started at home already ;) I also love a great class though! I love learning a craft in a group setting with instruction. We sniffed our way through a variety of beach offerings, each gravitating towards different choices and creating our own special mash up. The jars are all pretty colors, and pouring your wax was really fun. Knowing we created these yummy varietals is what made the entire experience special. I loved the Canva template offerings for custom labels. I picked something very simple and didn't bother really jazzing it up this time around but every part of the experience was a true delight. We have to wait 5 days until we burn them if we want to get the 50 hours of burn time and little miss impatient is counting down. I can't wait to smell my creation.
