She was finally learned about Habitat for Humanity and how they help civilians gain a home through their program. One thing that I absolutely loved about the organization is that they require the future home owners to contribute to the building of their house or someone else's house. This allows them to truly help out in the community and be able to give back to the organization that is giving them so much. I went one Saturday to volunteer and was completely amazed as to how many people volunteer and how the community really wants to help out those in need. It was sad to hear that some Saturdays aren't so busy and the organization has trouble finding volunteers or restaurants to donate food for their volunteers. It is a great experience and it would be a great if more companies decided to join in and help out. There are so many things to do on-site, you can either help out with the actual construction, or help with the food or drinks - there is so much to do and not enough hands for it, so please contribute to this great organization by looking it up online at http://www.habitatsa.org/volunteer/startVolunteering.aspx

Parking was convenient and the shop was spacious and laid out for easy browsing. We wandered in and out of each booth and found an eclectic selection of items from vintage garb to antique jewelry, books, most reasonably priced. Something I do not like about antiques malls is the inability to have a best price offered or lowered. Yes, the vendor on duty will call and try to reach a dealer for a better price, but it seems they usually offer only 10% if that. Still my friend and I purchased a few items and were happy with our finds. If you like perusing antique malls put Staging Post on your list!

The only negative, and I don't think it's the store, is some of the collectibles like toys or trading cards are overpriced, like above market. There are still deals to be had though. Definitely recommend it, a lot of the stuff brought back fond memories for me.
