So I've lived in this area for 10 years and never stopped in. I'm very glad it finally caught my attention. This is a great little antique mall that is a bit deceiving on the size from the outside. I enjoy shopping here, they have a lot of cute things that you don't normally find, a lot of DIY and handmade things that I do think is unique... HOWEVER I came by a few days ago and the staff was making it so obvious that they were watching every move I made. I would walk down one aisle and there they were acting as if they were customers just browsing around like I didn't notice them. How degrading to make your customers feel as if they're stealing. I get it if it's happened in the past and you have to keep watch but don't discriminate based on how I look. You have cameras for a reason. Do better. Be discreet and be kind. read more

One of my favorite treasure troves in San Antonio...but you really have to dig. Not to mention, everything you find here is final sale. This really hit home when I bought what I thought was a Glenn Miller set of records only to find that the seller had snuck a bunch of dud 78's into the sleeves. So, there I was having just realized I spent far too much on records I definitely did not want to play...basically $9.50 for a fancy jazz sleeve. Yikes. On the upside, I've been able to dig up some truly fantastic finds. Sitting in our kitchen is this beautiful jade-glazed teapot with willow blossoms painted on. My partner also found some vintage tennis rackets he used to play with and decor. To navigate Craftiques, you need to come in with an open mind because you really have no idea what you might find. Since the mall is made up of small cubbies for individual sellers, it's a bit exciting to explore each venue --- but also a bit hit or miss. If you have allergies, I suggest you take Flonase or Allegra before due to the high volume of dust on some of the items. I always have some sneeze attacks while dusting off one or two items. read more

Although, this one is smaller than the one I had previous went to, it's just as quaint and charming. I found many nice things here and purchase one myself, being a lovely autumn wreath that this wonderful lady had made by hand. I have to say this place has things ranging from vintage to modern and there is so many treasures. The thing that I definitely appreciate about these shops is that they give other sellers a chance to display and sell their awesome find, or homemade items, and I think that's neat! You get a little of everything once you walk in. Not the mention the staff was especially friendly and oh so sweet! read more

Had a great time walking through looking at the different items for sale. It's not very kid friendly. Lots that can be touched and a lot of glass/ceramic items I was afraid would fall and break. So many unique items. Pricing is at the discretion of the renter of the space you find an item so some things are a great price, some items are very overpriced. I looked into renting a space because truly interested and the space rentals seemed very overpriced. Overall it's a great little place to kill some time, get crafty ideas, and/or pick up a few unique gifts. read more

I used to love going here and have spent hundreds of dollars in the past, unfortunately today they required a mask which is absolutely ridiculous at this point- The lady asked me if I had a mask and I said, " no, I choose not to wear masks", she told me I would have to leave if I don't wear a mask...so I left, and they've lost my business forever; I will not support small businesses that don't support freedom of choice. read more

I have been to Craftiques several times over the years, and have always had a great experience. The booths are well decorated and each one is unique. Some have antiques, some have crafts, or furniture, or artwork, or jewelry, or vintage clothing. I like the variety and the difference between the booths. I ALWAYS walk out with new treasures - last week I bought a painting and some blown glass, this week I bought a gorgeous brooch. This place is a great find for gifts. I have found some really cool stuff at great prices. It is fun to keep going back because the items are constantly changing. Craftiques does a themed silent auction which is lots of fun. The store is staffed with employees, so there is no one at each booth pressuring you to buy their stuff - no flea market vibe, just an awesome indoor antique and crafts mall with lots of different booths and items. read more

So not what i expected! Total waste of time! I expected a nice place where local artists displayed crafts and original works of art, instead its a flea market filled with junk marked "vintage" and a few speratic craft staions. A thumbs down with a fart noise if you ask me...im sorry, not to toot my own horn but i have a level or artistic ability (http://www.etsy.com/shop/mymommyshobbys) and i have frequented stores like this all over the country, seen some very messy unorganized places but this was terrable! Found them on FB for Dixie belle chalk paint i needed. Was fairly easy to find the two ladies at the front were very friendly. The operator? had left my paint with them but one walked me back to the shop so i could pick out another color i needed. read more

Nothing wowing or unique about this antique store. Yes it's nice and clean and doesn't smell but it was a bunch of country bumpink 80s craft leftovers than a really cool and unique antique mall. Would not bother coming back. Staff didn't even bother getting us. read more

This place is somewhere between an antique mall (individual sellers have mini setups) and a random knick knack store. Don't come here looking for large antique finds as al most all the stands are filled with small knick-knacks, some antique, some hand-made, some brand new. read more

The name is very misleading because this is really an antique mall with private booths, a lot of help if you want it, or non if you prefer to be left alone. A few crafts but mostly a good range of antiques, reasonably priced, presented nicely in a very clean environment. I make it a monthly stop. read more

The last reviewer hasn't been in the store lately. Weekend classes in different crafts are offered at the store by different shop's vendor. Especially enjoyed the "I can do that" classes held monthly. New vendors rotate in frequently, although the original store is in an old location it has a homey feel. The newer location is more stream lined and has a tea lounge. I enjoy shopping at this store. read more

March 12, 2016. Went by and was completely grossed out. One, they never have enough "vendors" working parttime up front at the desk, because owners do not hire from the outside, just vendors. So, when you need to see something under lock box, you need to wait up to half an hour to see something, until the other vendor is back from the restroom to show you whatever is in case, because the one up front can not leave desk area. Why? Don' you have everything under lock and key? including registers? So why the long wait until the other one comes back from her toilet break. Second-- On this Saturday, the owners were informed of one of the vendors up front being sick, but yet, they did not show up to relieve her, to tell her, go home, we got it. So sickening. The woman gagged, coughed, spewed out several phlegm gurgling sneezes all over the store. The coughing was so horrendous, that everyone in the store was making faces, and telling each other, "why do they have her here today?!" Then get this, they have a tea shop in the back, well, instead of drinking some hot herbal tea and honey, this MaMa Cass woman, shugged down ice water, which aggravated the cough even worse. Ice water? trying to cut down the fever?? she looked like hell. She sounded like she was about to cough to death. We got up from the tea room and walked out. To the owners of this establishment, I say, get some decent help, hire from the outside. Two, a manager/owner, steps in, whenever an "employee" is sick. So in wanting to save yourself some bucks and having to go in to the Craftiques Mall on N.W. Hwy...you have lost several customers. I am not the only one that walked out, leaving what they had in hand to buy, and leaving the food, tea, on the table, that day. Who could eat with that irritating cough from hell. "Bronchial episode"--I think not. More like, the flu. And yes, that evening, my wife and I got sick. Thanks a lot MaMa Cass. read more
