The company sent out a young but very knowledgeable and adept plumber out the next day, who made quick work of removing the old tank, helping me rebuild the platform that was now ruined, and installed a new tank with new piping. I was very impressed with the speed and expertise of the job! While maybe not the cheapest company I received a quote from, it was certainly not as expensive as many of the lower-rated companies, and had the quickest turnaround to my family's hot water back on. Today (six months after the new install), the release valve popped on the water heater and we lost hot water. I shut it down and turned off the water and gas, and immediately called for help. It was 4pm (and I live in Fernley). I had taken a photo, as well, and texted it to them showing exactly what to expect. By 5:15pm, there was a plumber at my door (they made record time all the way from Reno in heavy traffic on I-80!) and they repaired the faulty valve and also repaired an exhaust pipe (from original home construction) that had started bending. All under warranty from the work they had done previously for me. Again, I was very impressed, and I am 100% completely satisfied by having chosen such a reputable plumbing company!

Ira Hansen and Sons Plumbing lied about service rendered!…read more They claimed to have shut off the water & drained our water heater. the problem? the drain broke off the water heater, & the water main was shut off an hour prior to them getting on site. we just requested a quote for replacement. they voided the invoice when called out, but if they lie about the most simple & verifiable things, imagine how much they would lie to screw you out of as much money as possible when you're not able to validate. also fyi I replaced the water heater myself in 3 hours as a complete amateur & it cost $760 instead of the $3,300 quoted. This was a different situation for selling a home and we had a situation with the appraiser of the home we were selling that went MIA and that report gone with them. In that timeframe, we had three items that need to be repaired to get the new appraisal done within three days for the buyers lender and agent. it was absolute chaos for all of us inclined as everything was hinging on this inspection. I spoke with Megan at Nevada Heating and cooling immediately the next morning who was understanding of our situation but said a lot of the techs were busy but to give her a few minutes and see what she could do for me. Within 30 minutes she called called back and we were on the schedule for the next morning to get this process going and assess the repairs requested which they did and we knew exactly what it would cost and how long to repair. With in 48 hours all repairs were done with three different technicians Alan, Rob, and Zach. All of them were on time, respectful, courteous, and there were no surprises with the repairs what was quoted is what was done. They made sure the repairs were done correctly. And I also had a check-in from Megan to make sure everything was good. I do understand that sometimes businesses get negative reviews, but I will tell you that for the past seven years I have never had any negative experiences with Nevada Heating and Cooling. They went above and beyond to help us out in a really difficult situation and we will continue with Nevada Heating and Cooling at our new home! Missed a call from Nevada Heating to schedule my air-conditioning service. Call them back and…read more apparently, they are using an AI Assistant and a usual 5 minute appointment call has already taken 8 minutes. AI assistant asked numerous unnecessary questions from my name, address, phone, age of unit, service or repair, etc. I finally asked to speak to a live person and when I did, I answered more questions about our account and was told they didn't have any appointments available and it would be refered to dispatch, but someone should call me back within 24 hours. In addition to that, their AI assistant and person who answered the phone, couldn't pronounce the name of their business properly as in Nevada not in Na-vah-dah. This is what Customer Service has moved to apparently and it's unsatisfactory, not user-friendly, and not even close to anything that could be labeled acceptable customer service.
