I wanted to surprise my husband with a 2015 Tahoe for Christmas last year 2024. I test drove the truck and at the time it wasn't anything wrong with truck. So the truck sat in the storage until Christmas I made sure I kept the motor running and warming up the truck to make sure I kept that up. But when my husband got in the truck all kinds of stuff popping up on the dashboard. so far i have spent 8,000 on getting sensors repaired in which they told me they didn't have anything to do with that! As of today my husband and I still continue to pay out of pocket in which the warranty isn't good for anything. We took the truck to the Chevy dealer and once they ran the test on the truck and told us whoever who we purchased the truck should not be selling vehicles at all the truck was so much in bad shape. I do understand that when purchasing a vehicle from used car lot you will have to spend a little money and put work into it, but this is ridiculous. My husband is not able to enjoy the truck since we had it! we have been spending money out of our ass for repairs. My husband has a lawyer now! read more

Literally never shop here I looked at both ends, heard horrible and heard great things so I decided to risk it. Here are the facts. WHAT I BOUGHT : $6000 2013 Ford Focus - was told there SHOULD BE no issues because it drives great. PROS: Great customer service CONS: Financing Option is HORRIBLE (charge twice than the original price) Won't repair car or put it under warranty if you buy it (for that price it should be under even a one week warranty) EVERYTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CAR I've had this car for two weeks (literally only two) and I paid $1,100 for repairs. Starter was bad, battery had to be replaced lug nuts were gone, transmission was bad. Maybe blame it on the Ford Dealership as well but this is horrible. And they won't help fix it at all. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. You'll have better luck buying the car from a private seller since you're pretty much doing the exact same thing except at least with the private seller you won't be overcharged for a car that doesn't work. I purchased a 2015 Nissan Sentra through your dealership (Absolute Motors, Hammond, IN) last November that turned out to have transmission issues. When I inspected the vehicle before purchase I noticed the check engine light was on to which the associate who assisted me said that it could be because it was cold and the car hadn't moved in a while but it works just fine. I also noticed the right side back tire was flat to which the mechanic put air in it. Me being a young adult and former foster youth without any knowledge of cars or an older adult to accompany me I took the associate's word that the check engine light was on due to weather and that it was dormant for quite some time. I was told that the car was supposed to be inspected before driving it off the lot, the mechanic drove it into the garage as if he did, but apparently, it wasn't. I asked the mechanic before I drove off the lot if the tire had any holes in it to which he responded "no". I had to put air in the tire repeatedly days after purchase. Less than a week after purchase the car stopped accelerating and became unsafe to drive on the road. I reported the issue to the dealership to which they told me to keep driving it until I acquired 500 more miles before the warranty (Cars Protection Plus) would cover the cost to repair. I explained that it would be hard to do if the car won't allow me to accelerate. After going to the dealership and making multiple calls I was still given that same response until one day I went in accompanied by my caseworker and life coach. I assume because they were there with me I was met with better assistance. The mechanic called the warranty and told me to expect a call from them sometime soon. Once the warranty contacted me, I reported my claim. Afew days later they informed me that because issues were apparent before the purchase they denied my claim. After looking at multiple reviews it appears I am not the only customer this has happened to. Because I was given the run around for months I was unable to visit my mother in the hospital or for Christmas. I had to leave my job because I could afford transportation. I can't make trips to the grocery store without having to be on another person's time. read more

I had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with Absolute Motors the Manager is a A Hole and doesnt care about his consumers...he sold me a trunk with a messed up frame the front end of the trunk had a whole in the frame..Watch Out when buying from them im stuck with wheeling and steering problems because of the frame and only had it a month but the Manager wouldn't do anything about it read more

worst dealer experience ever. refuses to refund down payment after knowingly deceiving me by not saying I was signing a non-refundable agreement. I am at fault for not reading it. but was never explained to me as that. I was only told it was to hold the vehicle until I returned with the balance. was told by the owner to take it to court and that he could care less if I filed a com- plaint with the bbb. so if you go there be wary of deceptive practices and read all paperwork completely before signing anything. especially if you are a trusting person with a good heart. the minute you step in the door you will have a target on your back. read more

Do not purchase from this company. They profit from selling faulty cars that break down within months of having the car. I purchased a vehicle from them and it broke down within 2 months of ownership. They refused to fix the car and even went as far as to tell me that "I should've never brought a broken car" as if I knew they sold me a broken car willingly.
