We had a top-notch experience with Absolute AV Design from beginning to end! Six months prior to starting our home renovations, owner Daniel came out to discuss options for mounting a TV above our soon-to-be-refinished fireplace. I was worried that the mounted TV would be too high for comfortable viewing, so we discussed installing a MantelMount which would allow us to lower the TV by two feet while in use. The information that Daniel provided helped as we worked on the design plan for our house. We signed a contract with Absolute AV Design to provide and install a MantelMount & TV above the fireplace, along with Sonos soundbars for two TVs. The company was great about keeping in touch and adjusting the installation date as our renovation schedule evolved. During the week of the installation, Daniel and project manager Jason came out to the house to review the work to be done so they could ensure that their installation team would have what they needed for success. I was impressed and grateful that they initiated the pre-installation visit, as our fireplace looked very different from when Daniel first visited our house. Things went smoothly during installation, with the two-person team operating in a professional manner. They also graciously resolved an untimely Internet issue by reinstalling the tip on our coax cable, for which I was very grateful. We are so happy with the products that were installed and the customer service we received. And, the final price we paid was exactly as quoted and contracted. Example, they upgraded their app to Nice Viewer from Elan and the wireless aspect stopped working . This is the whole reason why we need to use them . Really disappointed and do not recommend it . I went through a major remodel on my house and I had issues at just about every step EXCEPT when it came with my interactions with Daniel and his team at Absolute AV Design. Daniel did a great job listening to what I wanted and delivered a proposal that gave me my dream AV setup ... unfortunately my budget wasn't as big as my dreams. Daniel helped me make the hard decisions on how pair down the scope while still keeping the important infrastructure so I could expand when I had the funds to do so. The installers showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would do! GREAT effort by AV Design. We recently moved into a high rise and needed multiple TVs, mounting, and sound optimization. AV gave us a fixed price quote and delivered on all fronts. I checked the pricing of the products and found that AV charged me the best price I was able to find myself, making it easy to choose AV for the entire job. When supply issues arose due to Covid, AV worked with my schedule and absorbed any additional costs due to the job taking two visits vs. the planned one visit. The latest project we hired them for involved a number of things to ensure we have great internet connectivity throughout our home, especially given that we have two home offices and both my wife and I are frequently in Zoom meetings at the same time. Daniel was, as always, the consummate professional and designed the ideal solution for us. The Absolute AV Design team then showed up, did the job flawlessly and courteously, and completely solved our problem. Then, when we built a gazebo in our backyard and I asked Daniel for some options, he insisted on coming out to our home to take a look, even though he knew we were leaning toward just buying a device directly from Sonos. I had a wonderful experience with our TV installation. They came within the allotted time and were very helpful and friendly. They answered all of my constant questioning about everything they were doing and were happy to be informative. They even refrained from using some of their louder power tools when possible to keep from disturbing our napping baby, which was an especially nice gesture. They have now done 5 rooms in our house. 4 Large screen devices and 1 small screen with universal remotes and all of the other connections including whole house sound. They show up on time, are courteous and pleasant, get the job done to perfection and always follow up to make sure everything is perfect. The finish work is what we expect in our $2.5m home.
