I have used them both for a commercial property and my residence for years. This company is so well managed, it would surprise me if I hadn't done business with them since 2005. The company has adopted the tech to keep in touch with their customers which makes planning an appointment and the arrival of the work person an excellent experience for the customer. Today I worked with Matt and Giacomo (John) and was not at all surprised that they worked neatly and efficiently. We had them run ethernet cable and remove a EcoFlow product. Two stars instead of none because the initial mechanic was generous with his time and diagnosed the problem and knew what he was doing. We were still under warranty, so the defective equipment could be replaced free of charge.... except for $1,000 in labor costs. Honda doesn't do that. GE doesn't do that. Who charges for labor when it's your fault? Ridiculous. read more

In the process of getting quotes, a rep came to my house for that purpose. He was there for two and a half hours, examining, measuring, going from room to room with an iPad for heat/cold measurements, etc. It was quite extensive. In the end, he told me there would be a follow up appointment needed as there was a question about whether they could actually do what I wanted, which was to upgrade my systems and add a second zone on my lower level. This company as well as another seemed to be promoting 'heat sensors' over an actual zone. He also asked probing questions, i.e. who else had given me quotes and were they higher, lower, or about the same as his. I felt uncomfortable with that, and I don't see where that is necessary during an estimate visit. I am sure the company and work they do is very reputable, but I was not interested in pursuing more appointments and the possibility of not getting what I wanted in the end. read more

Two stars for the following reasons: We signed a maintenance contract and they deducted our money for the annual maintenance a few days ago BUT the maintenance HAS NOT occurred!!! They pushed their original date back to next month but could not refund the money! I will hold them accountable to perform the service that was already paid for - but not yet performed. I do not know of any respectable business that will take your money FIRST before performing their service. read more

If I could give this company less than 1 Star I would. I called them Monday morning to report that we had no heat. They made us wait until Thursday. The tech was here for 3 1/2 hours and couldn't diagnose or repair the furnace. When he left our hot water heater had also stopped working. When I called the office I was told that on Friday they'd be sending their 'best guy'. Seriously, who did they send on Thursday? They refused to take responsibility for the non working hot water heater. This tech showed up and was here for another 3 hours, no repair, no heat, no hot water. He told us he'd order yet again another part and return on Monday to install it. He left, we argued and then called them to come back, pick up their parts, put it all back together and go. While they answered the phone, they clearly either didn't know what they were doing or they were scamming us. The next company that I contacted had the heat repaired in less than 15 minutes and told us it was a loose wire. Awful, awful, awful! read more

After numerous bad experiences with more than a couple of other HVAC companies, dealing with Absolute Air was amazingly easy and professional. Scheduling appointments, getting appointment reminders and great windows for the appointments was the easiest I ever experienced. Scott came right on time (at noon for a noon-2 window) and he was friendly and professional. He spent a good amount of time servicing the AC unit, so it wasn't like he was in and out like i've experienced with other companies. Disgusted is the only word I can use that's appropriate. I was quoted $1500.00 for a part to fix my heating issue which I immediately thought was quite high but what do I know? I called and had other companies come out and they diagnosed the exact same issue. Turns out, the job is now done thanks to honest folks and the part was $900.00. I've never felt obliged to leave a review like this but in this situation, it's necessary. You want an honest company, I suggest you keep looking. read more

After some condo renovating my father in his attempt to update the thermostat blew the transformer. Being the summertime, I contacted several other companies who never emailed/called back and I began to think I would spend the whole summer without air. Absolute Air within 24hrs returned my phone call and through a cancellation I got in the next day. The receptionist was personable and amazing! And Kevin was awesome! He was super fast, informative, and gave me great advice. I wasn't pressured into buying or replacing any parts of my ac/heat pump system but at the same time gave me his recommendations/advice which from past experiences being a woman I have had to deal with the opposite. We called at 8 this morning because our A/C wasn't working, on the hottest day of the year so far. By 2:30 this afternoon it was fixed and back on. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, wore a mask, and showed us how to prevent what happened from happening again. Elizabeth was incredibly helpful and friendly as well. So my Lennox gas furnace fan stopped working on a weekend. Called Absolute Air because they are the Lennox Dealer near me. When I asked about their costs suddenly they were too booked with existing appointments to handle my call. I am now looking to replace my furnace with a more efficient unit. I contacted this company for an estimate on a new installation. The scheduling process was easy, and they even sent an appointment confirmation by email. The sales rep came out on a Thursday, did a thorough survey of what I needed done, and would have an estimate by that weekend. More than a week went by and no estimate was sent. I called the company to check the status, and they said that they'd resend the estimate by email. I confirmed my original email address with them and still nothing, two weeks later from the appointment. Business must be good to turn down an approximately $10K job. read more

Bad Experience and a total rip off! While they came out and restored my heat, they charged me a total of $370 dollars. All they did was remove and clean the burner and pilot. I did have an appointment scheduled for a cleaning the following week that would have cost $140. They told me I needed to keep that appointment because there was other cleaning that needed to be done but they wouldn't reduce the price. All they did was take $25 dollars off that didn't even cover the "travel charge" of $35. What a ripoff! read more

My central air died on me in the middle of the heatwave at the end of June- and considering I was a full-time telecommuter, I was desperate to find an experienced contractor to remedy my situation and NOT get taken for a ride. Understanding my situation (I was working in 90 degree temps and sleeping in 80 degree temps for days/nights on end), the Absolute Air Services team worked with me to get the necessary people out to my place to diagnose, quote, provide recommendations, expedited the necessary paperwork that my HOA required (I live in a condo complex which has their own approval process for major updates/contract work), order the equipment and then expedite my install. They moved things around in order to get me back up and working - which I cannot thank them enough!!!! I spent 4 months doing estimates, with 8 contractors, trying to decide the best thing to do with my current forced hot air, oil heating system at my home. After months of back and forth I decided to go with Absolute Air Services, and I am extremely glad that I did. They were attentive to my questions and concerns and completed everything above my expectations. My job went a day longer than expected and one of the owners spend the better half of the final day there double checking all the work that was completed and making sure it was up to his standards, which were way above my standards. I also noticed that he went above and beyond working with him employees, going through his thought process on things, reviewing the component manuals to make sure that they pick up on certain things on future projects, like a true leader should do. We recently decided to replace our old heating system and after several meetings and estimates we chose to go with Absolute Air. Steve spent well over an hour with us explaining in detail the various pros and cons of systems until we settled on the that was right for our set of requirements.
