Bought a 2005 used Minivan with low mileage of about 127,000 for $3,995.00 after title, tax, and tags $4,900.00. When you go to a dealership, you expect extra fees but let me tell you I'd take those fees any day for the customer service I got. #2 My new old van runs like butter, tinted windows, she's a real beut! On my way home though (40 min drive) I noticed a grinding sound in the brakes. Well not only did Jack give me a 3 month/ or 3,000 mile warranty but when I called and asked him where to go for repairs he set me up first thing the next morning with a mechanic to take care of it for me on the house. When buying a used car, you can go to a private seller and take the risk on what you're going to get, or you can go to Jack and know you're driving out that door with quality and care. For a car salesman, I have to say he was incredibly genuine. You can tell he's a decent guy, small business, and good business for his customers. I've never been so proud and happy with a used car, and I've never been so impressed with this impeccable customer service. DON'T BUY PRIVATE! BUY FROM JACK AND KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING, NOT GUESSING! Thank you Jack!

My boyfriend and I had an awesome experience at this dealership. We were helped by Baja (Cristian)…read moreand Jaryd, both of whom handled our purchase, questions, and concerns with the utmost kindness and professionalism. This place was a breath of fresh air compared to other dealerships we visited previously, it was low pressure, and we left happy (and with a new car)! We can't thank them enough, and we are extremely appreciative to Maus for hiring the right people for the job.

It looks like dealership's reviews need some major updating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! (Both…read more sales AND service). While my wife and I were considering purchasing a Nissan, (and we were not in the market right at that moment), one salesman quickly became two, and the two then became THREE, all ganging up on me, all acting like they were my new best friends, saying "We really would like to see you in a new car.," flattering me and trying to charm me into giving them a yes, all while they were trying to pit me against my wife. A TOTAL TURNOFF. I don't need three people trying to convince me to make a purchase, especially threeA desperate sales people. (I say this from he point of view of having been in sales myself, so I knew their game.) But the service department was even worse. On two separate occasions, they attempted to bully her into getting additional, very expensive service that her car did not need. She was very suspicious because they were very pushy about it, so she took her care for a second opinion at Complete Automotive, a company that has a superior rating with Yelp and will not offer a service that a car does not need. They agreed that Maus was playing games with her. On another occasion, my wife wanted one thing done for service that only an authorized dealership would be able to do. I don't know exactly what was involved in it, but while doing their work, they came up with a list of numerous additional items that they said needed to be serviced, totalling around $6000. When she refused, the woman working with her became snide and pushy, and gave he an entire list of all that needed to be done, then insisted that my wife sign each item stating that she was refusing the service, WORSE, the woman told her that they would not return my wife's keys until she signed the papers. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! The commercials make the owner of this dealership look like the nice guy next door, but it all starts at the top. We noticed this type of behavior at BOTH of their stores, one in Brooksville the other in Pasco County. If he has true integrity (which I doubt), he would fire EVERYONE at his stores, from sales managers, to sales, to service managers and service workers and start from scratch. It would be great business decision and good for PR, but when has this dealership ever had integrity? STAY AWAY FROM MAUS!

They refused to replace the battery with only a few thousand miles on it. Over time we got use to the sound of it being dead and then would Click over. Finally this year we had to put a brand new battery in it just 2 months ago. This Morning we get ready to leave the truck was Totally dead we had to get jumped and then dashboard said battery low. This is not acceptable with a brand new truck. I have cancer and we ride around with a paraplegic adult son in a wheelchair. What happens if it just stops. I feel our lives are at risk. We only have 30,000 miles on it but this is a persistent problem they won't listen to us!!! Major law suite if we get injured in a wreck Because of this problem. They are no help

At 5:30 we get a call asking if they could drive it some more to see if the warning light came back on. Kinda odd, so I explicitly said no one has permission to take the vehicle home over night. We're pretty sure they did anyway. Vehicle interior smelled like gas and oil. Seats had grease on them and there were Coke bottle caps in the front seat cup holders. We don't drink soda. They also tried to add 2,000 in repairs for leaky struts. We said no to this and we're then told they really aren't that bad but if they start to clunk to come back in. This place feels unethical and dishonest. We will never be back here for anything.

Didn't see that one coming! 11 years...yes, 11 years it has been since I bought a new vehicle and I was not looking forward to it in the slightest! Coast Mazda ended up changing my perspective about the whole car buying process. I had been to plenty of dealerships elsewhere shopping around a good month and then I turned into Coast Mazda! Candidly, they were not my first test drive, but they certainly were my last...in a great way! In an, I found "the one" type way! It was the last place I turned into with my 11 year old very used machine, because out I came with my 2026 CX90 black beauty From start to finish, I can not rave enough about my experience at this dealership! My salesman, Ethan, listened and was patient with me the whole way through, he let me take out every single car and model I asked about, was a wealth of knowledge in every car we sat in, listened to my thoughts of exactly what I was wanting out of a vehicle, and understood my strong indecisiveness of colors and patiently waited while I acted like that was the biggest decision of my life! He was a whole vibe, young guy, but an old soul and genuinely made me feel that he cared! I would never forgive myself if I didn't mention Hunter, the Sales Manager in this process as well, because in the end, the sale would not have been complete without his help, understanding, input, and honestly, his positivity! He had great energy and again, in something I was dreading going out to do, he suddenly helped make buying a car a fun experience. Y'all do NOT sleep on Mazda! Let me tell you, I almost did, and I would have missed out on my newest bundle of joy

It's Not How You Start The Deal, It's How You Finish!…read more I recently purchased a lightly used 2024 Mazda CX-90 from this dealership in March 2026. I would have given this dealership 4 out of 5 stars, if not for the missteps that are still unresolved. The showroom experience was average, but the sales experience started well (with exception of the salesman (let's call him J.P.) hovering nearby as I took about 30 minutes to look over the vehicle). He seemed eager, so I cut him some slack. He was not as knowledgeable about some of the nuiances of Mazda as I would have hoped, which is where this review begins to drop - not because of lack of knowledge; rather, how resolving it was handled by the dealership staff. Anyone who has spent five minutes in summer Florida heat can understand the benefits of a cooled car before getting inside. Additionally, my wife has heat intolerance as a symptom of a larger medical condition and Mazda's do not have remote start on the key fob like most automakers. Instead, they have an app that you must have a subscription to in order to remote start the car. I knew this ahead of time, so the remote start on the app versus on the key fob was something I was willing to accept. What WAS and STILL IS the issue is I negotiated one year of the subscription into the deal based on TWO salesmen that J.P. approached when I asked him the duration of the subscription that is included in the sale. They told him it was a year, so he told me the same - as a result, a year is what I asked be written (and was written) into the paperwork before closing the deal. About a week later, Mazda pinged me through the app to let me know the subscription expired in three months (June 2026 rather than March 2027). I'll pay the app, due to the aforementioned reasons; but since I have to do that, I'm going to bring the full story to light for people to see for their consideration. From that point until now (seven weeks), I've been reaching out to the sales staff to have them honor this part of the agreement by extending the app membership directly with Mazda or send me a check for the remaining nine months of the app subscription (least preferred option that I proposed, but an acceptable solution if logistics proved to be an issue for them for the direct extension with Mazda). Since he was my salesman, I started with J.P. with calls and emails to give him a chance to make things right. He took the first call and never returned my further attempts to contact him. After about a week, I then moved on to the first person that contacted me over the phone before I initially visited the dealership to check out the SUV. Let's call him C.C. C.C. took my calls and responded to my emails nicely enough, but that was all. He would always seem to forget to follow up on the issue, and after I reached back out to him, he would say, "let me put a Post-It on my monitor and I'll get back to you", only to disappear until I chased him down again. Finally I got, "I asked the Sales Department to address this, but I guess they didn't. This is my day off, but I'll be back in the office tomorrow to get into it personally." That was about two weeks ago, and I resigned to give them time to respond before posting this review. I've been more than patient and fair, there has been no word, so here we are... It's only a few bucks a month, so the money is not the issue. I've spent more than that in my time to chase this issue. What is the issue is not acting in good faith to honor all aspects of a deal - even when it is in writing. It's obvious these people at Coast Mazda in Port Richey are car salesmen in the purest form - they diligently call you and are responsive to get the deal, and ghost you once they have your money. Be very wary and do not expect them to honor negotiated add-ons even when it is in writing. Perhaps they should consider that just one potential lost opportunity due to the experience expressed in this review costs far more than nine months of an app that costs less than a fast-food value meal per month. Not smart Coast Mazda... Not smart at all.
