BUYER BEWARE and CAREFUL at Pasco Auto Mart.
The owner Bill Harrold comes off as a very nice guy, until you have purchased the car and drive off of his lot.
I purchased a 2009 low mileage, nice looking VW Tiguan. I was told it was a local one owner, very good condition vehicle, purchased from a local Dealership. We agreed on a price, and a day to pick the car up, once a new battery was installed as it was not holding a charge.
I was dropped off to pick up my car. I paid in full, went out, started the car up and it had a Check Engine light. Bill was quick to reset the cars check engine light and said it was most likely because a new battery was put in. Bill said if the check engine light came back, on just call him and he would take care it. The very first time I started the car after I got it home, the check engine light came on. I called Bill and he said get it checked out and he would take care of it. I took it to the local VW dealership, paid $151 for diagnostic and found the car had a bad rear main seal among other things. I shared the repair cost with Bill when I called Bill. Bill said you cannot believe a dealership. They always find something wrong, no way, they tried to rip off his elderly grand parents Etc. Etc. So, I to the car to a local highly regarded European Auto Service. They found the same issue and almost the exacts same other issues.
OVER a week later, I have called Bill so many times I cannot count, emailed him , texted him, sent him picture of the defective rear main seal that he agreed to take care of and sent him messages on the Pasco Auto Mart message system. I even let Bill know in every way possible I would split the cost with him, even though he said he would take care of the issue if the light came on again. Not a single call back or contact from Bill in any single way.
$2332.11 LATER of which $1028 was the rear main seal and offering to pay half the bill on top of all the other issues, I have not heard a single word back from Bill Harrold........ All I get is Crickets ........
This is shameful........ Pasco Auto Mart advertises, Trust and Integrity. .....
