Stay away! If you saw their kitchen, you would never eat here! The food is just ok and the service isn't much better.

Somehow made canned chicken cold which is peculiar. I was starving and still couldn't stomach eating the salad...which was $15 dollars.

All well and good and very health conscious food--the failing point of that is we are talking a gas station in South Louisiana. Nobody going in the place is think health. There are hoards of hungry laborers, busy families on the go, and starving I-12 travelers mobbing this station and the line for the tasty fried chicken and fish the station has always sold was waaaaay longer than the Froots counter section. After about the first year---no more Froots. Enter a quick conversion to Po Boys; but not the typical gas station style Po Boys. First off, the prices are great--$ 5.99 for a full sized roast beef or shrimp. They have catfish also, but I haven't tried it. The roast beef is fantastic--the meat is slow cooked, chopped, and tender. The shrimp are also flavorful and tender, with shrimp falling out there are so many. They have oyster po boys too, but I haven't had one. I have eaten a lot of different po boys and I have not eaten a better tasting roast beef, including in New Orleans. The only lacking point is that unless you ask, the bread is not toasted. I live nearby, so I pop mine in the oven and get it the way I like best, where the french bread crust flakes apart in my mouth. It is excellent bread, but they don't toast it normally. They also have some great looking onion rings, I plan on getting some soon. But try the roast beef, it is super.

I was on a mission to buy a pair of shoes through market place and where we met was down the street…read morefrom Overstuffed Po Boys. They are in a gas station but there's some seating. The staff was cheerful and happy to serve me and make my sandwich. I got half a muffuletta and as advertised it was overstuffed! They use Capocollo instead of ham, super delicious! It was a really good sandwich, I had half and the other half later. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to stop in again!!!
