    The Texas Burger

Decided to try this place out for the first time on a Friday after work. Arrived at 6:05, no people waiting but busy , bar area full and about 90% of the tables. Prob seated by 6:10. Waitress was prompt. We took our time ordering drink and perusing the menu. I'd say we ordered no later than 6:30 - Texas Burger and Blackened Chicken Penne Pasta w added shrimp and substituted linguine. Food arrived at our table at 7:05. This is the basis for 4 stars vs 5 along with the Pasta dish drowning in liquid. Burger cooked perfectly. 5 stars Pasta dish, drowning in sauce, cheap Parmesan cheese thrown on top but sauce had excellent flavor. Chicken a bit overcooked / tough - 4 stars Wait time - 3 stars

This is a nice spot! I met an old friend here for an early dinner. We were greeted at the door by the hostess and sat at a table. Being that we both wanted to see the door, we quickly asked to be moved to another table. No problem. We spent so much time catching up. We kept forgetting to look at the menu so the server kept coming back asking if we were ready, but she was patient and told us to take our time which we did. We both ordered the crabcake dish. I got sauteed mushrooms and macaroni and cheese on the side. My friend got coleslaw and green beans. The crab cake was pretty good and I always love mushrooms, but they looked like they were whole button mushrooms from a can. They were still pretty good though. Oh yeah, for an appetizer I got the crab egg rolls. They were good, they were hot and crunchy and I was hungry so they hit the spot! I also had an IPA on draft. It was tasty! I can't remember the name but I'm pretty sure it was local. AND, to top it off, I took some cheesecake home. I just finished it and it was good! Our server was nice, gave recommendations and engaged with us. I like that. Her mother was visiting and making baklava! I should have got some of that too. Check it out.

Come here on a whim for lunch heading to another store. Honestly wasn't expecting much - but was pleasantly surprised! Service was great! (I think our server was Lexi) We had the calamari to start and it was some of the best we've had. I had the oyster po'boy and my boyfriend had the hangover burger. Both were fantastic. The po' boy sauce had a little kick - but I don't handle spice well. Overall - 10/10! Great little hidden gem! (Or maybe we are just the last to know)

Hubby found this on Google as we were traveling. Cute little diner style place. Typical American do we fair with a hint of Maryland, ie crab dishes, sprinkled in. Service was great. Food was delicious and quick. Nice sit down meal but without the long restaurant waits. Kids Mac and cheese was amazing and enough for two servings. The lunch special Charm City burger was huge and stuffed with crab dip! And the BYO turkey burger was filling and made to order! Great pitstop!

The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was very reasonably priced. Great burger, definitely a fresh formed patty and not a processed mechanically formed burger. Yum Yum shrimp had a very generous portion, and the shrimp were very large. Wings were great, and Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were delicious. Happy hour specials were a bargain, we would absolutely come back and visit again!

The food was very tasty. We all 4 got something different and we were all delighted with our meals. The service was prompt and friendly with refills coming for drinks before we had to ask. The desserts were delicious. The restaurant was peaceful and we enjoyed our Mother's Day.

Flat Iron steak(MR), Cole slaw, and amazing Mac and cheese!

After we were seated I was greeted with a birthday card and a hand painted oyster shell Christmas ornament. The weather was bad so the deck was closed. Our waitress was excellent, gave us the specials, and had our drinks out in minutes. Cream of Crab Soup and Steamed claim in garlic butter are must haves. The Cream of Crab is some of the best on the Easy Coast. My wife ordered the Salmon BLT wrap. I had the Salt Life. Scallops, shrimp, lump crab and cod in an amazing Old Bay Alfredo sauce. This was the first time eating inside. We still had a beautiful view down the Susquehanna River. Another perfect afternoon and meal at Water Street Seafood. Made all the more special with the gift and card! Thank You.

Since…read morewe were hungry for seafood, we ordered several things: 1/2 pound of shrimp, fresh grilled fish, crab hush puppies, raw oysters and clams. Everything was great. Probably my favorite things were the crab hush puppies, and the fresh fish, served with pineapple. The entrees came with two sides. Therefore, I tried four sides. The French fries and potato salad were really good. The fresh vegetables had onions in it. I am not a big onion fan. The coleslaw was good. Next time, I will order the fish, with just one side- the potato salad was very large. For an appetizer, I will get the clams again, and the crab hush puppies. Yelp was so helpful guiding me to the hush puppies. The chef prepared our food outstandingly. Coral was are very friendly server. A nice meal with an outstanding server and a view of the water made for an excellent day. The host and the people helping out to clear the table were very nice, also. The vibe at the restaurant was a tropical beach feeling. People were dressed casually, mostly in t-shirts.

All I did was a simple Google search and, of course, saw an amazing Yelp review. Now that I stumbled across this place, I knew it was a good seafood spot to grab some food from. For one, they had one building, but they purchased another building that was right next to it just for more parking. Also, there was a mirror on the wall that said they catch the fish fresh themselves from the boat. Now, of course, me having such great humor, I asked the staff, "Do you know what boat stands for?" And of course, they didn't. I said, "Bust out another thousand." That's how I know they were making good money and selling good food, because that boat costs money--and of course, you can't forget the parking lot that they bought just for more parking! Now, I live about two hours away from this spot, and I will not hesitate to fill up my car with some amazing gasoline since I sold my Tesla due to a bunch of system malfunctions, but I'm always gonna be ready to hit the road. Go down here, get an amazing crab cake which was delicious. The fries were so crispy, it was great. The fish of the day was catfish, and man, I tell you, it did have me purring with delight and satisfaction. The customer service was great, although they did not have a bathroom, but that's pretty normal because it is a takeout spot. -- B L E E AKA Branden-Lee Butler

Great Food, Great Drinks & Great Vibes at Island Spice!…read more A friend and I wanted to meet up for cocktails and a bite to eat, so we decided to stop by Island Spice Grille & Lounge --and it was such a great choice! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively. They had live Jamaican music, which created the perfect vibe, and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We sat at the bar and started with drinks. I had the Rum Punch, and my friend had the Bob Marley--both were delicious and definitely hit the spot! For dinner, I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken, which came with rice and peas, cabbage, and fried plantains. My friend ordered the Curry Chicken Dinner with the same sides, and we also split an order of Callaloo. Everything came out piping hot, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The portions were satisfying, and every part of the meal was seasoned beautifully. Island Spice is a wonderful local Jamaican spot with great food, tasty cocktails, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be back again soon. If you're looking for authentic Jamaican flavors and a relaxed place to enjoy good food and music, Island Spice is definitely worth a visit! I highly recommend!
