He didn't try to sell me anything, he educated me on product options and industry best practices. His quote was similar to others, but the personalized, consultative approach was far superior. They just finished the installation of all-new gutters with filters, and I couldn't be happier. The crew took their time to get it right and were actually onsite an extra day to ensure everything was perfect. Great quality with exceptional skills & people at a good price is hard to find. Can't recommend them more highly.

Last night my water heater decided to start leaking, so I reached out to some friends and asked…read morethem if they knew any good plumbers. I received several recommendations. One guy stopped by and let me know the job would take a minimum of three hours and cost me $550. I called Robert Carter, and he drove up to my house from Spanish Fork (I live in Draper) within an hour. Stopped by, took a look at the issues, went to buy supplies, and within an hour and a half, he was completely done. Super friendly guy. He's a master plumber, licensed and bonded, and the quality of his work was really impressive. Oh, and did I mention cost yet? Well, let's just say he saved me HUNDREDS of dollars. Several times he mentioned that he "couldn't sleep at night" if he charged people what the larger companies charge. If you are in need of an honest plumber who does high-quality work, but at a fraction of the price, this is your guy.

I had an unusual experience with Gutter Boys that showed me a great deal about their…read moreprofessionalism and integrity. I needed larger six-inch gutters and downspouts because heavy rain can overwhelm the existing system and cause flooding at my home. Gutter Boys came out, carefully walked the property with me, understood the drainage problems, and prepared a detailed quote covering the gutters, downspouts, heat cable, valley shield, and gutter guards. Their representative was knowledgeable and confident, and their recommendations gave me a lot of confidence in the company. Their complete quote was $4,520--about $400 less than the competing $4,922 quote I had received for substantially the same scope. Based on my conversations with them, I intended to hire Gutter Boys. Unfortunately, while rushing to complete the project before surgery and the next major storm, I mistakenly approved both companies' proposals. Another contractor completed the installation the day before Gutter Boys was scheduled to arrive. Gutter Boys had already reserved the day, arranged for their six-inch gutter machine, and sent a crew to my home before I realized my mistake. They had every reason to be frustrated, but they handled the situation graciously and professionally. I offered to compensate them $250 for the lost time and scheduling disruption. They accepted that amount and promptly refunded the remaining $625 of my deposit. I cannot review their finished installation because my mistake prevented them from doing the work. I can say that their evaluation was thorough, their quote was detailed and competitively priced, their communication was excellent, and their conduct after losing a full day of work was exceptionally fair. I would confidently call Gutter Boys first for future gutter work.
