Jason is the first contractor we've used, and in the past 9 months we've had many here, that personally checks on the work being done almost daily, returns calls or texts within minutes! His crews have been extremely courteous, very knowledgeable of their job and clean up the work area wonderfully. I cannot express our happiness with the siding and gutters that have been put on our old house. It surely doesn't look 80 years old! If you want fast, quality work call Jason at Capitol Exteriors!!! The work done here at our home is excellent. We couldn't be happier!!!

We had SnowBird Roofing come take care of our roof after a massive hail storm. The Crew this…read morecompany contracted out to do the work did a good job for the most part they did leave a bit of a mess in some areas (namely nails from the shingles on the roof). Initially we went with them because they had said that they would make working with the insurance company seamless and extremely easy. They said they would take care of everything. Oh how wrong that statement was. after 1 month of them doing the initial work John West the owner sent a letter to us saying that he had put a lien on our house for non-payment, he then continued to call, text and email my wife demanding that we pay him. come to find out at that time he had not even sent the invoice to our insurance company or supplied them with any photos of the completed work, so they could cut the depreciation check for us to pay him. It then took him another 5 months to finally give the insurance company the needed information for them to send the payment out. After he sent me several emails demanding to know why this was taking so long, I called my insurance company to find out that all of this. When I sent him an email and then later had a conversation with him on the phone pointing out that it had taken so long because he was not suppling them the needed information. He got very irrational, defensive and insistent that he was now the victim of me "Harassing & Bullying him" he then proceeded to threaten me with filing lawsuits against me with his lawyer. Through an email exchange lasting over several hours he would insist that I continued to owe him varying amounts of money(changing with every email). The only type of invoices he would provide me were with, were jpegs of crumbled up pieces of paper that were scribbled and highlighted on barely even able to be read, (not a PDF as is standard with every other business.) The amount of disrespect, frustration and unprofessionalism we experienced while dealing with John can not be overstated or fully comprehended in this review. Many of my neighbors used him and I have not talked with one of them that did not have a bad experience with dealing with him.

I hired Snowbird to replace my roof in 2023. In December 2024 we looked in the attic and noticed the roofing crew had replaced a damaged roof panel as requested in the contract, but had completely boarded over the vent for the bathroom fan. They left the vent hose laying on our attic insulation, which has been venting water condensation directly on our attic insulation. It wasn't worse because there happened to be a valley in the hose that held the water. We dumped over a gallon of accumulated condensation water out, that had been accumulating over a year! They also failed to replace a previously water-damaged roofing panel as requested when we hired them. That moldy damaged panel is still in place. Absolutely unacceptable.

We had a situation where…read moreblowing snow was coming into our attic and after water damage to our ceiling in a brand new house decided to call to get a second opinion. Doug was amazing, knowledgable, and honest! We opted to replace the turtle vents that were clearly not installed correctly or adequate for the weather in this area, even though the builder had a different opinion. Far West Roofing installed a ridge line vent system and we have had ZERO issues. Tonight with the worst wind and blowing snow than we have experienced we checked the attic - not a drop of water, not a snowflake. Thank you again for your knowledge and above all your honesty. I highly recommend Doug and Far West Roofing!

Working with On Call Roofers was good up until the project needed to be completed. Mike's team…read moresprayed a sealant on my metal roof and failed to tape or tarp our windows/siding/deck/driveway. This was my experience: I asked Mike prior to the job being complete if he'd be cleaning this up. He assured me "they'd do a thorough cleanup". After the job was "done", no clean up happened and the sealant remained. I asked Mike to clean it up. He sent his crew and they only removed the sealant from the windows I specifically called out. He then immediately invoiced me, called me and texted me for final payment. In the email and phone, his wife told me they'd put a lien on my property if I didn't pay. It had been only 4 hrs since receiving the invoice and per our contact I had 30 days to pay plus 45 until they could begin the lien process. I let them know I wouldn't be paying until the job was cleaned up (per the contract). They continued to threaten a lien on my property and that my request was a "punch list" item. I had to give them 3 options: clean it up, I'd hire someone to clean it and take it off the invoice or we'd let a judge decide. They chose option 1 and it's much better but still have sealant everywhere. I added a few photos.

Don't hire this man unless you have a great lawyer. They "fixed" the roof in 2 hours, making $500 an hour. Super crappy job. Painted the roof and the paint already peeling off and not sticking to the surface. Roof is now full of balloons made out of paint. TPO installation was also wild. To save material, no 4 inches overlap between layers, 0 inches. The TPO unglued a month after install. Under the TPO they made some deep burn marks which is how they actually damaged the surface under it and caused the leaking. After the original install they made 4 trips back all of these lasted 10 minutes repairs - completely ineffective. Roof is still leaking. It's hard to believe this is still a business - complete rip off.
