I had GE monogram but I went with the Thermador brand and was assured they would fit perfect and install would be flawless. they even showed my a sample in their store. the Thermador took almost 8 months to come in no fault of theirs and I was fine with that. delivery day and install finally happened September 2022 not only did the cooktop and blower not fit properly they had to cut down my kitchen cabinet drawers in my island so the blower would fit. I reached out to their install guy sent him pictures and videos of the problem and it's been nothing but the run around. George came out to look at the install and said he would take care of it and we contacted Thermador direct. In the meantime, the Thermador label peeled off of the blower and i was advised to reach out to Thermador direct. They ordered a new panel for the blower but still no word on the improper fit and install of my cooktop. The new panel came in and this has peeled once again. I have called numerous times and left messages to have this cooktop replaced but no one calls me back. Then I find out the store burned down which didnt surprise me... if you've ever walked into the building it's a fire hazzard. I called them immediately after hearing the news on the fire and the excuse I received is our building burned down we will try to get someone out to your home to fix the problem. April 1,2023 still nothing from George or the employees. DO NOT do business with this company. Very unhappy!!!

There was never any pressure to purchase from him whatsoever. He knew the ins and outs of every single line and appliance he carries and was completely honest about everything. We must have visited him at least a half dozen times and we got the best service each and every time. When we finally made our purchase (an entire Thermadore package) we felt great and confidant that we made the best choice for our project. Would recommend Don and Hurst appliance implicitly!

I miss the original owner as unfortunately his heir has apparently let the ship sink when it comes to reliability, quality, INTEGRITY, and overall customer satisfaction!!! SMH For starters, I urge EVERYONE to avoid signing up for the 'EXTENDED WARRANTY'- what you're paying for is for young, fresh out of high school kids who don't know anything about being PUNCTUAL and who have no shame in not even showing up for your simple appointments as agreed upon- so if you enjoy WASTING TIME, being lied to, and just throwing money away, then by all means sign up for their 'extended warranty' and learn the hard way if you like it like that? ALSO, I don't know that alot of these sales people do (whether you goto the Clinton Township store or the Rochester one)- oftentimes, they just stand around and don't really help new customers as they're browsing the floor models inside the store- and if you do end up purchasing an appliance, in particular one that has more than a 7 day waiting/fulfillment time frame, you can count on ONE THING to be consistent about these 'sales men/women'- they WILL NEVER CALL you when the item is in stock/ready to be shipped. So again if TIME and scheduling (simply HONESTY) is important to you, then steer clear from Sargent Appliance- they have no shame in either LYING to you or in wasting your time!!! SMH

    WHAT EVER YOU DO, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!…read more Here is my experience for reference -- Would give zero stars if I could. Dryer was not working - no power to control panel even though drum light worked, so booked an appointment. Disclaimer was there is a $90 fee for sending a Tech which includes showing up plus diagnosing the issue. Then parts and labor to replace/fix would be incremental charges. All of which was reasonable to me, so I booked the appointment accordingly. The Tech showed up on a Monday. Said he first wanted to check (e.g. diagnose) the Thermo Fuse. Took the drum out to get to the fuse within literally 2 minutes to check fuse with electrical tester. Confirmed that the fuse was good and it was not the issue. Took 2 minutes to put drum back in. Was going to then check the control panel, but first tried turning dryer on again and it started working. I asked him what happened and he said he has no idea. He said he did nothing but check fuse with electrical tester, so we both chalked it up to dumb luck that it now works. Ended up charging me $130 ($90 for service fee & diagnosis + $40 for labor/parts). I paid him but the next day (Tuesday), spoke to Beth at A&E to question what the $40 labor/parts charge was for since the only thing the Tech did was diagnose the issue and did nothing to fix anything (unless dumb-luck is A&E's definition of "fixing" an issue for a customer). Beth said she would check with the Tech and contact me on Wednesday. I heard nothing from Beth or A&E Wednesday or Thursday, so I contacted the company on Friday. Beth then followed up with Tech and said "he said he will give you a refund of $20." I said I think I was overcharged $40 since nothing more than diagnosis ($90) was done. She said Service Manager Brian would contact me. Well, Brian called me and he was extremely rude and said he is not refunding anything and that HE WOULD HAVE CHARGED ME $150 (not $130). He said that the fact that "dumb luck" occurred while the Tech was in my home "diagnosing" the problem counts as A&E labor to fix the problem (not part of the $90 diagnosis fee). So for "dumb luck" to occur with the Tech inside my home for 5 minutes, A&E charges $40 labor (Service Manager Brian would again have charged me $60 for that coincidence). I regret ever contacting A&E; I've since been told by others that the company is horrible; so I want to share this experience with others so they don't make the same mistake I did in contacting A&E. And also would never want you to have to deal with Brian the Service Manager and his extremely rude behavior with customers.
