ABC Warehouse in Livonia has great customer service. They went above and beyond to get the product we needed as fast as possible.

I purchased a refrigerator and a stove on 3/28/25. The refrigerator was dented and the driver was rude to my niece. I called The store on 3/29 ( day of delivery) about my dented appliance and rude driver, they scheduled me for the following Saturday to have the door replaced, I took the day off. On that following Saturday 4/5/2025 after not hearing from ABC Warehouse, I called only to find out that there was no scheduled service for my house. I'm not happy... read more

Spent close to 10,000 ... thought we were getting things the salesmen fluffed up in store, but when things got delivered a different story. Very frustrating! No wonder why salesmen on commission get a bad wrap. Have an entire family room to furnish next. I'll go else where. Updated this to Zero.... Please note - make sure you do your research before going shopping. Remember the sale staff are hustles so you'll have to out smart them - now don't go in there just telling them all crazy prices because you never know when they will call you out on it. I've been looking for a deep freezer for several months. The sale person started negotiating when i was about to walk away - I stuck firmly with price because true enough I could get it at Walmart but I would had to wait a while. When he saw I was about to leave he told me to go to the register (I had a confused face for a moment) - when I got the register he showed me my asking price. I walked out a happy customer. Don't buy from them. They won't tell you when your merchandise will be delivered until THE DAY OF DELIVERY. That is so inconvenient for many people just careless. They don't care if you need to make arrangements with other contractors to do your hook up for the appliances. Especially since ABC Warehouse doesn't even do basic hook up for stoves. I walked into the store and was immediately helped by Brad. I showed him the refrigerator that I was looking for on the website. He took me to another refrigerator and it seemed to meet all my needs. I paid and signed for the purchase. I advised Brad that I could only take delivery on a Saturday. No problem he says. 2 days later I received an email stating that delivery would be on Thursday. I called the store and asked to speak to Brad. As I began to explain the reason for my call he said "I'm really busy right now can you call back" Really? I called back in an hour and was told he left for the day. Not bothering to return my call. Called back the next day and asked to speak to Brad. I was asked to hold for Brad. 15 minutes later I am still on hold. Couldn't waste any more time waiting for this clown. Called back the next day and was told Brad wasn't in. I spoke to Gus who said that he would schedule delivery for the following Saturday. This was on Thursday so I was waiting for an email confirmation as promised. Nothing came. Again called back and got Chuck. He told me that the fridge I bought was on back order and they were about 90 people waiting. Really? Tried calling AL the district manager twice and was told he wasn't in. At this point I just want to cancel my order. Have been in customer service myself for the last 30 years and am appalled at the way I was treated. I will never shop at ABC again and will advise everyone I speak with about the treatment I was given. These clowns are slicker the car sales people. Get you to buy and then cut you off. My husband went to buy a dryer and what a surprise he got! Evidently he got a used dryer. Was wrapped in plastic with cardboard on the back. The cap was missing on the gas hookup. He hooked it up anyways and it would not heat. He called the salesman ho bought it from and he said just bring it back. When my husband accused him of selling it broke he said nothing. My husband did call him a #$%hole of which he shouldn't but the salesman reply was bring it back and I'll see you outside. My husband asked him what he said again and he repeated it!! We had a frustrating experience in the purchase of a washing machine. the selection was fine. Delivery prompt and professional. The driver immediately asked if I had the supplied hoses. I did not. The installation went smoothly with my existing hoses, but I had paid $20.00 for the parts. The store was not open at the time of delivery, so I called and left a message for the salesman, Mohamad "Mo" Fardous-no reply. A few days later I called again and he happened to answer. He first offered to send a check, but decided crediting my credit card within 72 hours. I let that time lapse and then some. When no credit showed I called him again. "We're a multi-million dollar company. I'm not going to do you out of $20.00. It doesn't happen overnight" I reminded of the time frame he provided. As week passed I phoned again, and before I could as much as identify myself, he launched. "PLEASE do me a HUGE Favor and stop calling me! I am a BUSY MAN and I don't owe you anything.You got the hoses(false) and I credited your card myself(untrue) Come to the store and I'll 'put the money in your hand' It's only $20.00". I don't get why other people have had problems here.. I bought ALL new appliances from them recently, minus a washer & dryer. Well, I guess it starts with the person you deal with here. I did all of my business here with Elek Hutchinson from start to finish and I couldn't be more happy... If you walk in here, just tell whomever approaches you that you're already working with him.. He is the guy you want to work with!! He's probably the most honest and trustworthy salesman this company has. I have an acquaintance that runs another ABC Warehouse and I still chose Elek OVER him. Even though we were hellbent on "only looking" at appliances this particular day to get ideas, I knew he was our guy.. He was honest and told us what appliance brands to stay away from. I couldn't believe it. I was ready to buy an overpriced brand and he gave me several reasons to stay away from it. What got me with him was his HONESTY and then his follow up.. While he was dealing with us and our 9,425 questions, he was getting a crazy amount of phone calls from previous customers about their delivery dates, concerns, etc... We listened to him on the phone with previous clients he had already closed out.. This guy actually gives a HUGE fuck.. Very rare. They weren't angry past clients either, just people that had general questions about how things functioned, measurements, when their ranges would be delivered etc.. He never treated any one of them like they were a burden even though I was getting annoyed FOR him just listening to it.. I actually ended up having an issue with my delivery, but it was completely diminished by the way he swooped in and handled it all. ABC has been around too long to have the screw ups that they do. First, the salesmen used an address I hadn't stayed at in 15 years, so my washer/dryer was not delivered on that day. Took that day off for that reason. Bummer. Update your records! Had to wait a few more days to get it. At work now. Got busy at work, missed the phone call. They gave me a range time between 12 and 4 pm. I called ABC to see if they could call the drivers and get a ETA and let them I'm on my way home. It seemed nobody knew how to do that except for 1 person. All that staff. Really? They finally deliver my merchandise. I come out the next morning and I find this gigantic box on the lawn of my condo! I had to drag it to the trash site. The driver's were that lazy and disrespectful that they left the box on the lawn. ABC, you got me with free delivery and free installation, but next time, I'll happily pay for those with someone who has better records, better communication with delivery people and delivery people who have the decency to clean up behind themselves. read more

ABC Warehouse always has a good selection and pretty good variety, and there are always people available to help...STOP....more on the "people always available to help" in a minute! This store has a really great knack of getting the odds and ends that you usually don't see in a typical big box store. They get the Samsung's and the GE's but they also get stuff like the Haier brand for the budget conscious (they make appliances). You also will be able to get a good deal of information from the people working here. With that I will say, before going into an ABC Warehouse, you better know what you are doing (or put on a good show that you do), because any sign of weakness and you basically enter at your own risk! It is a virtual piranha tank when you walk in, they are on you like white on rice, unless you prefer brown rice, then they are on you like brown on rice...in any event, it can be quite intimidating and certainly can turn off many people. The experience is very much like a used car lot at Dewey Cheatum & Howe used car emporium. DON'T GET ME WRONG...I am not saying the quality is bad at all or that they will rip you off...what I am saying the price can change between customers and even sales people, depending on many factors such as age, knowledge, naivety. Interestingly enough, I don't think gender really makes a difference as long as you know what you are talking about. I think the thing I like best, is that I almost feel as though I am at a swap meet or flea market when I go here, and can haggle the price with them. I have been many times, and will go back many more, simply because I cannot stand Best Buy and the fact that ABC will beat any competitors price, again provided you are talking to the right sales guy! read more

how i was greeted- The salesman manager walked up to me while on the phone and says - are you actually buying something before i hang up the phone? i thought that was kinda rude and made me feel unimportant. i ended up buying an Avanti dishwasher. I had to wait a day to pick one up cause they had to order it. It took me 3 days to get my husbands help to install it Because of his work schedule. the machine ended up being a dud or "bad machine" that leaked water underneath my entire wood kitchen floor and destroyed it. I called the manager the next day and he says he can have a maintenance guy come out to help for $150 bucks And also this guy can try to get it out of the hole it was in, under the counter (the stupid single back foot was stuck on the seam of the kitchen floor under the counter) I told him its leaking everywhere And said his guy is busy and could come tmrw. I later got it out of the hole myself and took it up to the store 2 days later (again i needed help getting it into my van). I told the salesman there that i only ran it twice and the second time i noticed all the water coming up from the floor. I was told by an ABCwearhouse associate who spoke to the manager mike kelly on the phone, that because its been a week, i cant return it. I feel like i was scammed. And now im stuck with a crappy machine And im out $650 bucks! I'll never shop there again!! read more

With my experience buying from ABC Warehouse I did have a good salesman but no return policy they don't care if you spend $1,000 or $3,000 if you're not happy with the merchandise there's no exchange and no refund to me thats not right they don't care if you are a VIP customer or not I think we should be able to exchange or refund any item if we're not happy and the store at Livonia needs new management. read more

I sure wish I would have looked over reviews before I purchased my tv. I spent 1000 dollars and it quit working within a month and they did absolutely nothing to try to take care of the situation. I will stress one thing, if you walk into that store and Moe is your salesman, walk out and run away. Beware! He might and probably will chase you out in the parking lot. We went in looking for a washer and a dryer. By talking to Moe I did not learn much about the quality of the LG washer and dryer I was interested in purchasing. What I did learn, is that people drive from all over the country and wait for 4 hours for him, as he is the number one salesman in that store and really bad at singing Bruno Mars' 24K Magic. Although charming as it was to sit there and try to talk to him while he was attempting to sell and eat ramen noodles from a styrofoam cup, we ended up walking out unsatisfied. He handled out trip to the store in the most unprofessional manner by continuously bragging about his abilities as a salesman and his integrity to customers. When I said that we are there to buy appliances and not him, he got bothered and felt bullied by me. As a 25-year-old person, I could never imagine I can bully someone twice my age. All in all, his bragging did not get him far. All we did was drive to a different ABC warehouse location and we ended up buying the washer and dryer for the exact same price Moe offered us. read more

Worst investment I made. The salesman are conniving and no one seems to stand behind their product. The dryer that arrived for delivery was not even the dryer I bought. The dryer quit working within a year. The dryer timer no longer works and the dryer will continuously run until I set my own timer to stop it. It is unsafe and not energy and money saving efficient but yet "supposedly an upgrade"). I have attempted to contact G.E appliances over 10 times to fix my washer that won't drain. They then delayed follow up to my call and service request until after my warranty has been expired. (3 months after initial service call) They then tried to charge hundreds of dollars to fix the washer. They came to try to fix it and told me it needed a fuse and then another technician came out and said that was not the problem and he has "fixed" it. But the first load of laundry I attempted after that would not drain the water. I called abc warehouse back and they said they would get back to me... but never did then tried to transfer to fake mgr. I am a single father of three kids who can't even wash their clothes without dragging them all to the cleaners after purchasing their products not even a year later. Good job guys you should be proud of yourself. No wonder your ratings suck. read more

A frustrating experience attempting to get washer and dryer. An unreliable sales person by the name of Tom would not return calls after he made mistakes. The first of which was only sending the washer. A second delivery attempt was foiled as he mistakenly scheduled the delivery to be the last that day after promising that it would be delivered before noon. The 3rd attempt resulted in both appliances finally coming however the dryer had a huge dent. At that point the manager finally called me back and after hearing me out and validating my concerns, he then undermined the gesture by offering for me to come back and meet with the same sales person to get a good deal on another purchase. Why would he think that I would deal with the same sales person again? I felt this reflected poorly on a otherwise reputable company. I will not deal with that store again. I have to admit I was nervous to go here after reading some of the previous yelp reviews. But thankfully I can say I had a great experience with Sales. I ordered a gas dryer today so I'll have to check back in later to say how the delivery went. But speaking as to the sales piece I know I got the best product for the best price. I was even checking the Internet on my phone for comparisons with Home Depot & and other companies and ABC was beating the price. I left feeling like I know I got a good product for a great price. I would highly recommend Donald Todd who sold me the dryer. And I bought a vacuum from Carter Brown. I was pleased with the service I received from both salesmen. read more

Spoke to a salesman, I think he might even be the manager at the Plymouth store. His name is Moe. He was recommended by a co-worker. In the beginning he seemed okay. He let my fiance and I shop a bit. Then as time went on he seemed to be getting more pushy and talking fast. I was shopping for a new fridge. I initially wanted a freezer bottom w/ice and water AND possibly a stove. After looking at several possibilities, I had reluctantly settled on 2 items totaling $1400. I get to the register about to make the purchase when I asked, " Which fridge did we decide on"? He then tells me that "maybe I should come back when I can remember". And he said that I worried him because I asked that question. We had looked at so many and had been there for quite a while and with him being the "Almighty" salesman, his job is to SELL. I needed a recap of what I was spending my money on. While he was trying to sell everything to everybody, HE lost track of what WE were doing and made it seem like it was my fault. He toots his own horn about being the best salesman there and that he bent over backwards for me. He even raised his voice at me. He was trying to make me feel inferior when I'm the one buying. Spending MY money. Using my EXCELLENT credit. Even though I had driven quite a few miles and passed up several ABC's to buy from him, I politely walked out. A good salesman is SUPPOSED to bend over backwards but focus on one customer, maybe 2, at a time. The sales will come with kindness and accuracy. NOT BY BEING PUSHY AND ARROGANT!!! And not to mention belittling the customer. You see, I understand the game. I never let a salesperson think I am desperate. The power is in the POCKETBOOK. I took mine and spent it elsewhere. Brad and Moe st the livonia store were a hugh help for my husband and myself. Moe helped us pick out just the right tv and I just had to have the fireplace stand to go with it. He is always there when I have any questions. Brad helped us on just the right bed for us. He listened to all our needs and helped with exactly the bed. We love our tv and stand very much but after Brads selection of the right bed with all my medical issues I have never had such a good nights sleep in a long time. I don't want to get out of bed in the morning. My husband and I both agree that Brad and Moe are the best sales persons. They are both there when ever we need them. We thank you Brad and Moe.
