my refrigerator quit. we knew it was going up and i found the numbers for the new one, 33 inch Whirlpool without ice maker or water, at ABC warehouse on Miller Road. They could deliver it on Tuesday (this was Saturday) this is the second purchase i have made from them - and it will be the last. I asked about financing. was shown a paper with .02999 interest. since it would be paid off in a month or two that was ok. I wanted the charge put on my ABC credit card. they did not - they opened a new account at Fortiva in Missouri. I was not given the application for credit. i was told about the interest but was not told about the interest starting the day of the sale. Nor was i told about the 72$ annual fee. when i called the store i was told - well you signed the paper. the refrigerator was delivered - it isn't even the one i bought. It is 36 inches wide and the opening is only 34. We had to really work to fit it into the space available. The salesman was working on four different customers while working on my sale. How easy for him to claim he told me about the annual fee and the daily interest. I will be needing a new washer and dryer soon - i am sure i will be able to find one at Best Buy - cause it sure won't come from ABC Warehouse. terrible customer service. read more

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled at the "customer service" my daughter I received at the Miller Road location today. Im not sure what one's sexuality has to do with shopping for furniture but for some reason it was important to the employee that "helped" us today. I told him WE (again, my daughter was with me) were looking for a pink or white or silver bed frame. He said to me "oh, do you have one of those sons?" I said "um, Im sorry? What?" He goes on to say "you know, one of THOSE types". I said to him that yes, my son is bisexual and its not something to joke about. Its 2025. It doesnt matter what someone looks like, dresses like, their marital status or their sexuality. ESPECIALLY when simply shopping for furniture. I purchased a new frontload GE Washer & Dryer from ABC and had them do the delivery and intallation. I don't have any complaints about the devices or delivery. I do have a complaint about the installation. I had a problem removing a shelf above the washer so asked that they flip it up at installation until I could get some bolt cutters. They didn't! SO that meant they had to leave the drain hose for the washer in the utility sink instead of the drain pipe. Then they don't "hook up dryers due to fire hazards". So I had to hire someone else to do that. Since they have hooked up the washer, when the water is going into the washer all the water pipes shake and rattle. That did not happen on the old one. So I am hiring a plumber now to find out if they left air in the lines when they hooked it up. They also didn't flip the doors on the devices so each door opened backwards for use. Had to hire someone to do that (in my younger days, I'd have done that myself). Do NOT use their installation people. Just hire your own. read more

The price was right, the salesman assured us that the old washer & dryer would be removed & new ones INSTALLED (minus the gas). The inadequate young delivery men had a very difficult time maneuvering the new washer down the stairs and refused to lift it onto the homemade pedestal, which was about 7-8" higher than the manufactured type. So me, at 5'1", 128# and my husband--both with severe back problems-- LIFTED IT!!! I don't know what they would have done with a stacked set. I used to like ABC, and have bought several appliances & TVs from them in the Detroit & Flint areas. No more. Wish I had read the Yelps first. Oh--and NO MASKS were worn by either delivery person, in spite of the fact that my husband & I both were wearing ours. ABC's explanation? "I'm sorry. * **Update! I received a call from ABC today and it turns out the parts are covered under warranty. Thank you ABC Warehouse for ordering the parts and making things right!*** I purchased kitchen appliances with a 5 year extended warranty. I requested service under the warranty. I told the representative I was requesting service because the dishwasher racks are rusting. The service technician came out here and told me that the racks are not covered under the extended warranty. I told him that when I made the service appointment I had explained the issue and I was told the racks would be covered. The technician left without replacing the dishwasher racks. I then referred to my original receipt for the dishwasher and the extended warranty and noted that it is printed right on the back of the receipt that the extended warranty has the same terms and conditions as the original manufacturer's warranty. I contacted GE and have a copy of the original warranty and confirmed that the original warranty does indeed cover the racks. I contacted ABC Warehouse special "Heartline" which is supposed to address unresolved customer concerns and they have failed to respond. I won't buy anything from ABC again. read more

February 13th 2023, I purchased a brand new Ge washer from abc. Washer was delivered Wednesday February 15th, 2023. I placed a load into the washer that evening. It filled and washed the load but it would not spin the laundry. I hand wrung that load out so it could be dried as my family needed clean clothes. I thought it may have been an error on my part so I placed another very small load into the washer. Once again it filled and washed the load but did not spin the water out of the laundry leaving me to have to had wring towels so they could be dried. I called abc to have the issue rectified, i.e. switching out the faulty machine for one that works. Instead I was informed that I'd have to deal with the manufacture. Leaving us without a wash machine for another 2 weeks minimum. So basically abc does not stand behind the products they sell and they do not care about their customers. If I could given them a negative star I would. Its a shame because I've bought all of my appliances from abc for the last 25 yrs and have never had an issue when a problem arose till now, Ill never spend my money at abc warehouse again and I hope this review stops others as well. As for GE their customer service was ok, but apparently their quality of product is suspect. read more

I bought a frig from ABC and when they came to deliver my from door knob got stuck. So I asked them to take it back to the store and bring it back they refuse wanting to put it in my garage. I said the frig was too big and they ignored me and did it anyway. While I was at work my aunt was here to have them bring the frig from the garage into the house. when i took my old frig out to the garage my light did not work. i found it hidden in between some cases of water and the fixture was broken and the light bulb still intact. then they lied and said they didn't do it and I insisted that they did. they then said yes they did break it but my aunt knew about as she was in the garage when they did it. the problem with that lie is my aunt forgot my alarm code and was in the house trying to shut off the alarm and had to call me at work. she was never in the garage. they then agreed to send out a repair man and he called and left a voicemail. my mother called him back twice but no call back. I then went up to ABC warehouse and they said he was trying to call me over and over again. I told them he did not call back and whatever is going on you will be fixing my light fixture. they called the repairman on the spot and set it up for the next day. i gave them a different number to call since I will be at work and cannot get calls and my mother is home. the man called the store and said no one was home but he went to the wrong house. he past my house and was at the corner. my mother is standing in the yard and he called she told him to look behind you and back up. i called the store in the meantime to let them know that he was not there and the store manager JOE started yelling at me saying you said someone would be there and no one is there you lied we are just wasting our time. I said my mother has not left the house she is waiting and he said she was a liar. i told him don't no one call my mother a liar and the only liar in this whole situation is you. lied about the light fixture lied on my aunt lied about coming out to fix it. so I called the corporate office to file a complaint with the district manager and the man on the phone hung up on me. said he was going to give me his voicemail and then slammed the phone down. i quickly called back and asked why did he do that? he said i just need to take your name and number and please give me a good number to call and nothing where its belongs to someone else. then he would not give me the name of the DM said it was against company policy because maybe he wont be the one calling back. i asked him who does that make sense to? i said fine and then the man pointed out that i need to know how to talk in order to explain things to the DM otherwise he will not speak to me. I have been discriminated before but this is crazy. i told him i know how to speak it is part of my job and i don't you worry about me talking. so when the DM called he said his name was JOE. that is the store manager name as well but I did not know because they would not tell me his name anyway. I said Joe i do not want to talk to you i will speak with your district manager instead i don't like what you did. then the man said he was the district manager my name is Joe too. I explained things to him and he said you know i am not going to just take your word for it. i said i did not expect that i would expect you to speak with the store manager. I asked for a follow up and he said no he was too busy. I demanded a follow up other wise i will be calling back. he stated that it will be very quick because he had things to do. i replied how long do you think it would take to say what you gotta say. I have never been do disrespected before from a company I am trying to give my money to. I have never had the customer service like this being so bad apart from SPRINT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Purchased a refrigerator from the store over 5 weeks ago. They didn't bother to tell me that they didn't have the ability to get it to me until much later. They claimed it would be in a few days to a week or two. Now we are at 5 weeks. Refrigerator finally showed up damaged. When we called,we were told we can call the manufacturer. It's only after I went into the store with pictures and made it clear that I was not going to just go away that they agreed to send a replacement. Horrible service. The delivery driver got out of his vehicle with a bad attitude before he ever reached the door. We prepared to bring a new refrigerator through the garage into the kitchen. The driver said the refrigerator would not fit. He was angry because the front walk was not shoveled after recent snow. He said to us, "most people are ready" We were ready for a side door delivery. The driver called ahead to say he'd be here in 45 mins and to disconnect the water line. Why couldn't he had said make sure all entryways are clear? We offered to clear the walk quickly he refused to wait, even though the frid have never been onloaded. We paid cash and I'll never shop here again. read more

The salesmen are awful, but they do have it for less. If it weren't for the fact they have the best prices in this town, I would not bother, but I'm interested in the bottom line. The store is big with a lot if inventory, but the sales team either ignores customers or circles like a hawk looking for its prey. I really hate that. I bought a washer from them after my divorce and it was a good price for a single mom, but that was then. If I could leave a review with no stars, I would've opted to do that instead. ABC warehouse is the worst store chain I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Much like Sears and Kmart have, I hope ABC ultimately meets their demise and goes out of business. Normally I don't want to see anyone lose their job, however the sales people, store management, upper management and corporate executives all deserve to be unemployed. Now, with my personal opinion out of the way, I'll start my review. February, 2016: spent 5,587.46 on new stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. November, 2017: we baked a batch of cookies according to the recipe, and they were really burnt. Thanksgiving, 2017: we cooked a turkey. When the temp was taken, the turkey had an internal temperature of 486°. The oven was set to the normal temperature for baking a turkey. Black Friday, 2017: ABC contacted because of malfunctioning oven. 8 times between The last Monday in November and January 22, 2018, some fly by night appliance company contracted by ABC comes out to "fix" the stove. February 13, 2018: a different appliance repair company comes to look at the stove as a second opinion because ABC doesn't believe the first appliance guy. Valentine's Day, abc informs us that the oven is selected for replacement. February 15, we go to the ABC in Flint to see what they're trying to stick us with. At this point we're suspicious, because we already know ABC is shady. The store manager tries to con us into getting a Samsung stove, or the cheapest LG stove that they have. This is not acceptable since we purchased the current one for 1800.00. So, we leave to go negotiate amongst ourselves. We make our way to Best Buy, just to see what they have. Come to find out the Samsung stove they tried getting us to get WAS FROM 2007! They couldn't get anyone to buy it, so they're desperately trying to off it on some poor unsuspecting pigeon. Best Buy took the liberty of giving us the phone number for Samsung. Samsung wasn't happy ABC was trying to sell something so old. So, after getting chewed out about that, we found a LG stove we did like. Are we able to get that one, you ask? Hell no! "That's not an option." So, fast fwd to today, we get a call From the "Regional Manager- Joe." Big bad Joe apparently overrules everyone and says no, either get the Samsung, or wait for the cheaper one to be put together in S. Korea and be shipped here in 4-6 weeks. So, we're waiting for a call back from his boss, and in the meantime we're contemplating legal action, just to prove a point. The main point of the review is this: DO NOT SHOP AT ANY ABC WAREHOUSE LOCATION. YOU WILL BE MAJORLY SCREWED OVER. Yeah they might negotiate on the price but you're selling your soul to the devil to save a few bucks on a fridge. Go elsewhere. Also, I just wanted to point out, after the second time, the stove started leaking propane after the repair place messed with it. We've been without a stove since November. He also was able to answer all of our questions about front load washers and dryers. I know that some of the other salesmen there are high pressure (really hate that!!) but honestly, Tony O. was great and even gave us a free laundry basket. I have a custom Harley Davidson Street Glide show bike. Having a lot of money tied up in this bike, I am VERY particular about making sure any/all work done on the bike 'looks' professional and doesn't take away from the aesthetics, therefore, I do most of the work on it myself. After installing a new radio and having reliability issues w/ it, I decided to give ABC Warehouse in Flint a call. I spoke w/ James (installation specialist) on the phone and he assured me that he had installed several HD radios before. I took the fairing off of my bike, loaded it in my trailer and drove to the Flint store. After discussing my needs, taking the time to research the after market speakers I had already purchased/installed, James made a recommendation on a Kenwood marine radio, paired w/ a Rockford Fosgate amp. He went to work in his shop, meticulously working to ensure that the utmost care was taken during installation. Upon completion, I was blown away at how professional the completed job came out. James took the time to loosen the gas tank, run the wires underneath and along the back bone, using protective sheathing where necessary and zip ties to keep everything very tidy and professional in appearance. I would most definitely, recommend ABC Warehouse and James the installer for anyone looking for a custom and professional job! read more

I'm writing to let you know that I will be telling everyone I know NOT to shop at ABC Warehouse in Flint. I bought a refrigerator and stove(special order) on December 19th. On December 29th when the refrigerator was delivered it was cracked. A new one was delivered on December 31st. I called the sales person that day to see what the status was on the stove, he couldn't tell me. I call a week later, he said he'd call back, never heard from him. I called Saturday, he said the same thing, never heard from him. Call today and spoke with the store manager. He equally as rude telling me they are busy and the salesperson couldn't "manufacturer" a date. He looked at the computer and said there was still no date. I proceeded to ask could he give an estimate or an approximate timeline and to that he said, agitated, "No! These are unprecedented times and plants are opening and close so we have no idea when it will be" I told him I'll help with his stress and come get a refund and contact his corporate office because the absolutely terrible customer service. read more

I've had ABC Warehouse install stereo systems in my past two vehicles and they've messed up both vehicles in the process. My first vehicle, they blew my radio. They did offer me their cheapest radio for free; however, I lost all of my steering wheel controls. I decided to give them another chance a few years later with a new car. Once again I was very unhappy with the end results. Not only did they tear a big hole in the weather strip in my trunk, but they broke a clip that held the underside of my dash up, and they drilled an unnecessary hole in the sidewall of my interior. I pointed out the damages that they did and they said they'd fix the weather strip.... They didn't. I even called to talk to the manager to tell him how displeased I was and all he said was I don't know what to tell you. Long story short, I wont be returning for ANYTHING! Anytime my husband and I go into this store we leave very annoyed. We went in looking for an advertised home theatre system. We found the one on display that we wanted, but they said they had to order it from their warehouse.... So we put in the order and were told it would only take a couple days. THREE weeks later and many phone calls, they still hadn't gotten it in, so we cancelled the order. We decided to give them another try and look at tv prices... The guy that greeted us basically told us how stupid we were for not wanting a plasma. (I had done enough research to know it wasn't what we wanted.) He went so far as to print out a bunch of papers telling us the differences between plasma, lcd and led. We've since decided we will never go in there again for anything. I was told I needed a part and it would take 2-5 days to come in. On May 26th I was called by the service company and told ABC had just approved the payment for the part and told 2-5 days to get the part. It is June 1st and still no part. I called ABC customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told they would have to email the service company to see what was going on and a supervisor would get back to me. I asked if it would be today and was told yes. By 4:00 I had not received a call so I called again and was told it takes 24 hours for a supervisor to call back. I was told I was buying a Bosch dishwasher and that it was about $1000.00 retail. the problem was they sent me home with a different machine than the one I thought I was buying, one that was about $840.00 retail. When I went back to let these people know they said that I was right.....DAAAAAAAA!! Purchased a Maytag dishwasher six months ago; also purchased the insurance so we would not have to worry about needing repairs. The thing stopped working last week so we called the service and repair number and set up an appointment for Tuesday. The guy came out, checked out the machine and said he would have to replace the circuit boards, the parts would need to be ordered. The parts came in and we set up another appointment for the next Tuesday; between 2 and 6 pm. We were out mowing the grass when the repair guy called, he left a message on the phone that said since we were not home, reschedule another appointment. We were home! No one said to sit by the phone all afternoon! So we set up another appointment for Thursday between 2 and 6 pm. No one ever came! All afternoon by the phone for nothing! This repair service is located in Saginaw (58 miles away) and they don't care about the customer. When we called to see if the repair guy was still coming on Thursday, they said they had no way of knowing. They won't let you have the repair guys phone number. Your only option is to wait. Next time I buy an appliance it will be from a local business that services what they sell. read more

Purchased a highly rated GE washer and dryer. The delivery guys came to haul our old washer and dryer away and install the new set. They didn't even bother to plug up the dryer to see if everything was ok...and it wasn't. My husband plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. We called to let them know and not only did they say we would have to wait 4 days for someone to come out, they also kept trying to blame our electricity. Finally my husband went up there to speak to a manager in person and he said he would have their contracted electrician come out the following day. The following day the electrician called me and told me if he comes out and the problem was the dryer he would bill ABC, but if its our electricity he would bill us for the service call. This pissed me off because if the delivery boys would have done their job and plugged the dryer in to see if it worked, we would have no use for the electrician. I told him not to come. My husband went out and bought a multimeter to measure the voltage in the 220 box to see if we were getting enough juice. We were. So they sold us a lemon dryer and we have to wait to get another one. I don't appreciate them trying to place blame on us and our home. Next time I will go to Lowe's or Best Buy. read more
