They actually had a very large selection of the bracelets and charms, running mostly between $28-$50, including an interesting array of Valentine's Day theme charms. The customer service was excellent, they even offered gift wrap. Other than Alex and Ani, they also had a huge line of Pandora (which my wife loves), including some "last chance clearance" items, plus a nice array of Tacori. I usually use Kay Jewelers for most jewelry purchases, but this Medawar impressed me. They also do on site jewelry and watch repair. I might bring my vintage Longines watch here for repairs. I would like to get that watch repaired locally, as opposed to taking it to a store that I don't shop in regularly. I'm glad to see Medawar can do it here.

However, the sales people are very nice and they have beautiful jewelry- they even have a good array of Pandora. They've since then done a few appraisals for me on other pieces and those experiences were okay. Poor Communication, Disrespectful Behavior, and Unprofessional Workmanship My fiancé went in and clearly asked for a low-profile setting on my engagement ring. When he picked it up, the setting was not low-profile, and the center stone wasn't even centered. When he asked, he was told, "She'll love it," and that I could come back to have it fixed if needed. By September 2024, we decided to move forward with the repair. I messaged the business and was blocked. We attempted to drop the ring off twice during posted business hours, but the shop was closed without notice both times. When I finally reached out directly, Paris, the owner, yelled at me on the phone, talked over me, and told me I needed to "listen to him" because it was his business. I was simply trying to get answers about my engagement ring. When I got it back, the repair was rushed and poorly done. Instead of properly replacing the head, they cut through the basket. I later brought it to three other jewelers, all of whom confirmed the ring was not structurally sound and that the diamond was loose. I returned in person on July 3, 2025, nearly a year later, and only then did they finally agree to replace the head. While I appreciated that step, I had been told I'd get to see a few options--but the new setting had already been installed when I arrived. Not a major issue, but another example of the ongoing lack of transparency and communication. I actually enjoyed his sister and parents who have offered to work with me, all of whom unfortunately work for him. What's most frustrating is that Paris is profiting from a business he clearly doesn't care genuinely about or take pride in. He showed no accountability, was repeatedly unprofessional, and never once apologized. Others in the store tried to smooth things over--but the fact remains: the owner avoided, dismissed, and disrespected a paying client for nearly a year. We should be supporting businesses that value their work and treat clients with respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would not recommend this jeweler to anyone supporting small businesses as you can find a small business who cares much more about you. INVEST IN THEM!!! Please note, his mother, father and sister apologized and got me a new head & properly lowered it but in the future my money will now be going to an owner who appreciates people supporting local and treats women with respect even when a man is not present! My wedding and engagement rings came from Kay Jewelers, although the engagement ring came from the Courtland Center location. The sales staff at this location always discounts items for us, including watches, rings and bracelets, without even asking, and we've received some substantial discounts here. They aren't the typical hard-sell salespeople you often find in jewelry stores. When my wedding and engagement rings needed repair, they honored the warranties on them and had them fixed quickly and very professionally. I was pleased. I once had a very bad experience with Zales when it came to ring repair with a different piece of jewelry, so I was initially hesitant at getting them repaired, but I couldn't have been more pleased. Only once did I have an encounter with a not-so-friendly salesperson at this location, but once she could tell that I wasn't pleased and sensed I would probably complain to the manager about it, she changed her attitude and apologized right away.
