A pawn shop in Flint... NO WAY!?!?!…read more I swung by today with some friends, as they were having a sale on instruments and other stuff. Holy crap - the prices here are outrageous. A used Canon T2i for $800?? At a pawn shop?? Used Xbox controllers for $30+? Are you serious? They're $20 at Gamestop!! I tend to try and be considerate about people's asking prices when selling things... but holy babies this place is just out of control. A friend of mine bought a nice, massive 50+ in. TV for about $500 new. They were selling old 26-inchers for $300. The only good thing I have to say about this place - they have a bunch of CDs for $2 apiece. They also have a lot of NES games, but none of the super tasty ones. Loads of power tools and regular tools, also mostly priced high. Even after some haggling, this stuff is just too high. Bottom Line: Avoid this place. Unless you can haggle the living daylights out of whatever you want, this place is a waste of time.

I've sold over $1800 worth of merch to this pawn shop. The other day, I was interested in selling a…read morerather inexpensive item which they had interest in. As i sat on a stool waiting for my turn (and being quoted a price mind you), another patron saw my item on the counter and inquired how much it was. I told him I was looking to get $20 but would be willing to take $15. This is a private one on one talk between two patrons. Upon hearing this, the employee of the store told me to take item and get out. When I tried to explain that i was only relaying the price the store had quoted me and was not creating a side deal inside the store with another customer. The employee couldn't care less. He had told me get out, and was bold enough to have security force me to leave. I was simply telling the other customer that if the pawn store didn't want to buy it, that I'd give the interested customer my phone number and id sell it to him at a later date; IF THE PAWN STORE WOULDNT BUY IT. This was the rudest store encounter I've had "ANYWHERE". They have no posted policy or signage of any kind relating to simply discussing ANYTHING with other patrons. I realize pawn shops aren't the epitome of sound business practice, but this event was appalling. Any interested in any of the 4 mega pawn shops on flint PLEASE Be ADVISED of their NEFARIOUS and shady practices. I hope this helps someone. Flint has at least 9 different pawn shops that are less underhanded

My boyfriend and I pawned a set of Duralast 32 piece toolset on July 11 2019. The whole set was…read morecomplete. My boyfriend went to pick up the toolset today August 8, 2019 and the bag where the toolset was kept was ripped open and the toolset was unfortunately being used by employees. Tools were missing from the toolset. Three to be exact. My boyfriend was very upset and questioned about his missing tools. Markus, the employee he was dealing with, replaced the missing tools with cheaper tools and took my boyfriend's money. My boyfriend told Markus that his toolset was a complete set and now it is not a complete set. Markus didn't have much to say but another employee spoke up and said he is embarassed and apologized. My boyfriend said he didn't think anyone was supposed to mess with the tools. My boyfriend was upset. I called Markus after my boyfriend got home. Markus laughed about the whole situation when I questioned him and I told Markus I didn't think it was funny. Markus told me that my boyfriend was satisfied when he left and now when he gets home he is not. He said he will replace the tools if he has to buy them himself. We will be returning to the store tomorrow afternoon and hopefully they will make it right. They took money for an incomplete toolset that they returned to my boyfriend and tools that were not even my boyfriend's tools. We plan on calling an attorney for a free consultation to find out my boyfriend's rights on money that was taken from him and property that was stolen from him. My boyfriend needs to have his property returned to him or have it replaced immediately. He is out property plus money! This is not the way to run a business and not the way to treat customers. I am very disappointed.

Hit or miss, depending on the day…read more I've scored a sweet pair of Persol sunglasses here before for $1.99 and those babies retail for between $300-$400. That was an epic score- sadly, one that has not been repeated. Oh well. Often, I pick up super inexpensive white milk glass pieces for my ever-growing collection, but recently there's been a dearth of good milk glass sightings at this location. Perhaps other collectors have caught onto my secret? Occasionally, my husband will find brand new Ralph Lauren or Burberry ties here for a song, often under $4. While there's certainly a lot of junk and weird castoffs, we sometimes pick up rare vinyl lp's in very good condition, even with the rice paper linings inside. Most of the books are pretty dog-eared and smell like mold, hence why I usually don't bother with those too often. The shelves often look like an appliance graveyard. Every type of "fad" kitchen electric that came with a bang and left with a whimper sits on the shelf waiting to be reclaimed. You name it, it's a veritable "who's who" of old espresso makers, juicers, frothers, iced tea machines, bread makers, and waffle irons.

Furniture is very limited here, the toys section is always a mess, clothes I've found are a little more unorganized then others I've been too, and prices I've noticed have gone up. Sometimes it's fun to see what they have and hopefully get lucky, but like I said I've been leaving empty handed lately ):
