Absolutely horrible service! I came into the store to try to get my watch set at 5:00pm. The older gentleman stated that they were about to leave. The store didn't close until 5:30, so there was plenty of time to work on the watch. Instead of attempting to try, he told me I could take it to a Jewlery store. Nice selection, pretty good customer service, and they do on site jeweler repair.. This is a local, family owned jeweler, not a cookie cutter big box retailer.. I like their nice array of Pandora pieces. They have fixed my husband's Movado, Longines and Citizen watches. The repairs were all done on site, which I like. They gave me a decent estimate to solder my rings together, which I'm contemplating having done after they were 'repaired' at Medawars, who charged an exorbitant fee to fix and solder them.. while Medawars did repair them, they made my rings too large and never bothered to solder them together, which I paid for upfront (I'll be reviewing medawars soon). My husband is a fan of Gaines nice array of watches, which seem to be well priced, while I like the selection of custom white gold necklaces and rings and Pandora charms.. Customer service is really amazing, beyond reproach, and jewelry repairs are done on site and their guaranteed turnaround time is a week or less. They repaired my husband's watches with a turnaround time of only a few days. read more

Local place I wanted to give my business to. Got some earrings and small ring for my better half and should have known better then use their "no credit check finance" option. Through a company called Acima and if you don't know they are a third party lender who chargers $87+ a week just to "rent" or "lease" what you thought you had purchased. I made it aware I was on a small budget and again 100% my fault. But they 100% could have been more open and honest with had told me exactly what I was getting into. I have ended paying more than double the cost of the actual jewelry. And Acmia just reached out again after months of being paid off claiming my account reopened and I essentially was starting over again because a processing fee that never went full through. I needed my ring resized and went to a couple different places for a quote. I was given quotes of $300 and up for a simple resizing. I was told to try Gaines Jewelry and I went in and they were super friendly and gave me an amazing price of $55. They cleaned it and it looks so amazing. I was told it would take a week to fix which was totally fine and I actually got it back a day early so that was awesome. I am so happy with their work and with the employees. I took my deceased fathers watch in to have the band adjusted and decided to have them fix a scratch in the crystal.In doing that they damaged the face of the watch-under the crystal) so they tried fixing it,no good,so they sent it out to be fixed,like a year later I get my watch back,it is fixed but the face has no numeral markings on it,just a blank blue face.I know the watch had numbers on it as the damage they did was just past the 1 o'clock mark.but as I have no pictures of it I cannot prove it,but after days of searching I cannot find a single Seiko watch with an empty face,all Greg or whatever the original owners kids name is says it is the same--B.S.!!!
