My hubby and self learned a whole bunch from him about front load washers . Stuff we never knew but made sense. He needed to order parts and set up another install day. Heather in office notified us what the entire cost would be and made sure we knew this upfront. Bryon was back within the week and put a new drain pump in . Took less than an hour. We had out of town company college age who was impressed at how fast Byron was as well. Workin like brand new and so quiet. Unfortunately, my experience here was just not good. Several months ago, I burned up the motor in my Kitchen Aid mixer trying to mix too much bread dough at once. It limped along for a while, but it soon became clear it needed help. This is a prized possession - I use it all the time, and it has a lot of sentimental value. I found Erv's listed online as a certified Kitchen Aid repair center, and they had great reviews. I live a few hours away, so I called ahead to see if I could drop it off while in the area and pick up later, or have it shipped if I had to leave town before the repair was finished. I was told this was possible. I did end up leaving town and was told it would be shipped ASAP. It took several weeks and several follow-up phone calls from me, but I did eventually get my mixer back in the mail. Unfortunately, the bowl and three attachments I had left with the mixer were not returned to me, so it was still unusable. It again took several phone calls, but the bowl and two attachments were returned to me. Still missing the third attachment. Several more phone calls to get the third attachment. It finally arrived. Clearly not the attachment that goes with my machine, but, at this point, I decided to go with it and just move on. Just tried to use the mixer tonight for the first time. The mismatched attachment is the wrong size and does not work with my mixer. I guess I will buy a new one. All together, I could have spent much less money to get an all new mixer. I never once got a return call from leaving a message on their answering machine. I always had to call, catch someone in the store, re-explain the whole saga, and wait for them to look up the record. I was determined to remain friendly despite my frustration, and everyone working here was always polite. But several months and a chunk of change later, I still cannot use the appliance I brought for repair. I imagine this may be different for folks who live near by, but I cannot recommend this business to would-be out-of-town customers.

You might be tempted to use a business like this for better service than a big box retailer. I'm…read morenot sure that you'll get it. They use a text message tool to communicate with customers. But if you run into issues from the lack of context in texting the staff doing the texting may get fatigued and simply stop responding and refuse to take responsibility for their communication by giving you a first name. When you call directly to the office, the staff might refer you to a manager but the manager might be too busy to call you back and discuss your issue. When the service manager does call you back, you might be reminded of your responsibility to immediately report any quality issues with the repair, but get little recognition that repairs are sometimes done incorrectly. And in case you thought they like to use texting, be told it's really better for you to pick up the phone and call them. Not that the staff will be trained to proactively call you if texting goes sideways. If your dishwasher door won't open flat for loading after being disassembled, would you think that's a sign the repair was done incorrectly? I did. But Camden can't say if that would be the case. Anything could have happened.
