He doesn't speak English very well so I just used a translation app and took pictures so it would translate to Spanish for him. His son however does speak English. He was extremely professional, very kind, and went above and beyond our expectations. He made sure everything was working properly before he left. He is extremely knowledgeable in appliances and the household! The problem with our washer was really really bad and he was able to fix it! I am extremely great full for him. He is also very very reasonably priced for the amount of work he did. I thought it was going to cost double than what he charged and what I was quoted from other companies.

He said the issue was "One of three possible things", but, "I don't know which one it is". A part was ordered (I have an old stove), it was in the next day, but when the box was opened, it was the item wanted but the igniter was on the opposite side with no way to fix it. Joe W., the technician, made phone calls and went out of his way to get the correct part so I would not have to wait 8-days for a part to be shipped from across the country. I appreciate it, the oven and stove now work better than when it was new. Now if you had a technician who can also fix treadmills I'd be all set.

Unfortunately, my experience here was just not good. Several months ago, I burned up the motor in my Kitchen Aid mixer trying to mix too much bread dough at once. It limped along for a while, but it soon became clear it needed help. This is a prized possession - I use it all the time, and it has a lot of sentimental value. I found Erv's listed online as a certified Kitchen Aid repair center, and they had great reviews. I live a few hours away, so I called ahead to see if I could drop it off while in the area and pick up later, or have it shipped if I had to leave town before the repair was finished. I was told this was possible. I did end up leaving town and was told it would be shipped ASAP. It took several weeks and several follow-up phone calls from me, but I did eventually get my mixer back in the mail. Unfortunately, the bowl and three attachments I had left with the mixer were not returned to me, so it was still unusable. It again took several phone calls, but the bowl and two attachments were returned to me. Still missing the third attachment. Several more phone calls to get the third attachment. It finally arrived. Clearly not the attachment that goes with my machine, but, at this point, I decided to go with it and just move on. Just tried to use the mixer tonight for the first time. The mismatched attachment is the wrong size and does not work with my mixer. I guess I will buy a new one. All together, I could have spent much less money to get an all new mixer. I never once got a return call from leaving a message on their answering machine. I always had to call, catch someone in the store, re-explain the whole saga, and wait for them to look up the record. I was determined to remain friendly despite my frustration, and everyone working here was always polite. But several months and a chunk of change later, I still cannot use the appliance I brought for repair. I imagine this may be different for folks who live near by, but I cannot recommend this business to would-be out-of-town customers.
