For a quick and easy dinner, we went here and got our food. One good thing when u come here later, the food is discounted sometimes. I got spam musubi with eggs, spicy ahi tuna bowl and mango tapioca. The food was warm except the tapioca which is cold but they are all very good and just right and not too expensive. Make sure ask the cashier for utensils and they do not provide bag or you can buy one from them, so make sure to bring one if you are buying for the whole family.

The super corner store... Not quite the bougiest shop but this shop has a long superette history as I used to work in the Discovery Bay right across the street. Love to see that it's still here after the long covid craziness but being surrounded by not just hotels but condos as well many did flock over here as the nearest supermarket was Ala Moana Center and knew the owners of this shop before ABC bought it and took over. Not more for the visitors rather than the superette it was known for you're still able to find many shelf stable grocery items and some grab and go hot and cold items but remains more the typical ABC Store. The vibe here is more like souvenir shopping zone but still see many folks come here for various items as there's zero parking and is all foot traffic there is always something that you need and probably will find it here. Thank you!

ABCs are the corner markets here everywhere. They are the staple like our drugstores in Cali but smaller by far. They have beach towels and any beach stuff you need, macadamia nuts, kona coffee, bentos, sandos, drinks etc. Prices are fairly high, esp on soda compared to CA. $3.99 a 2 liter or 6 pack soda $6.49 ( 7/22). But they are super convienient to get quick eats/drinks, needs or beach gear. They open until 11pm which is really helpful too.

Who doesn't live ABC? The conveniency baby. And this store is one of the specific location that we love to go and check something new. This location has been for years and years. So convenient that if you want something to grab from snackin' to souvenirs or anything you need asap ABC is the key. They got the friendliest and efficient staffs here. Never underestimate this Superette ABC! (insert wink face) See yah later...

I loved having this ABC right next to our Airbnb. They had everything we needed and staff were all awesome.

Just like a mushroom ABC stores are everywhere in the island. Sometimes they were almost neighbors that it will make you think twice on where ABC store will you visit. I think you need to visit them all. Hahahah (insert funny silly face) ~ Located near Ala Moana Boulevard across MCdonald, this ABC Superette is pretty big and offers a more variety of options base on what you need. This is the most convenience amongst all. Just like most of the consumers, I also love this store coz they almost have all the stuffs that you need esp. from personal hygiene up to hot meals & to souvenirs. Convenient esp. amongst travelers/juanderers. ~ Open until midnight this store offers you great helpful stuffs. Customer service is fair. Others are simply snobbish while others are super nice. I must understand, coz this store also has a lot of people coming in-and-out in here and dealing with different kind of mankind is not an easy job. Of course this is a convenient store so don't expect to be cheap. Tbh their price is pretty high yet in this way, it will offer you retails instead of having bulks. Still, shopping in here is fun just like you're shopping at Target or any stores around. ~ Mahalo & HAPPY JUANDERING fellow yelpers! #juanderbandit.world

This ABC is like a mini grocery store combined with a souvenir shop and a liquor store all in one. It is right at the corner of Ala Moana & Hobron - I tell you this, because if you have been to Hawaii you know that in the touristy sections of town there are ABCs every 50 feet! Prices are what you would expect in Waikiki. They are high, but not outrageous. This place is nice because it is close to a lot of the condos so you can go get your milk, eggs, fruit and pick up a beach mat and hulu girl for your dash all in one spot!

I was totally loving this store when I was in Oahu this week. Conveniently located on Ala Moana Boulevard. It is a superstore. They have so many grocery products. All reasonably price. Like a little mini grocery store. However they did not have our favorite salad dressing. Which is a Hawaiian made Papaya dressing . But, you can find just about everything else you might need in a pinch. I did get the papaya dressing at Foodland ,which is just down the street a little bit. This ABC store has everything you would expect to find at other ABC's. But, even more. Always remember, save your receipts at ABC's you can get gifts for every hundred dollars you purchase and more . The staff here was fantastically helpful. I needed some Lilykoi candy. They went to the stock and opened some boxes and got me six out. Exactly what I needed. Love this store quick and convenient. Located right on the corner. The store has been here as long as I can remember. At least 20 to 25 years ago it was there. Remember to take your own bag or buy one for just $.15

Now everyone knows what they are getting for their souvenirs.

Stock Up This location was very conveniently located near the beach and our hotel. When on vacation I always love to turn my hotel room into a functioning bar. Doesn't everyone do that? If no, then why aren't you. You're on vacation and it's time to relax and mix up some cocktails. The store is larger then most ABC locations and stocks more items. It also has a ton of souvenirs if you plan on bringing stuff back for people. I did have to laugh at the Obama key chains. There was one of him playing a ukulele. Does he even play an instrument? I did buy myself a souvenir. There was this great bamboo cutting board shaped like a surf board that I totally needed for my bar in Chicago. There seems to be a theme in this review around adult beverages. I must still be in vacation mode. Not only are there souvenirs for your friends but this location contains packaged food and fresh fruits and vegetables. You can grab some snacks just in case for the room or beach. Let's not forget the wine, beer & spirits section. Yeah I grabbed stuff from all 3 adult beverage sections. I needed to be prepared for fun in the sun. I thought that the prices were not that bad for being on an island. I did see something really unusual. They have an air compressor behind the side counter and they will blow up the inflatable rafts for sale. How cool is that? I have never ever seen a store do that on any tropical island. I must say ABC does it right or at least this location does. So if you find yourself in an ABC store in Honolulu then pop in and stock up on drinks, snacks & souvenirs. The prices are not that bad and are much cheaper then buying things at your resort. Aloha my island friend and enjoy paradise in a convience store.

It's a place where you can be yourself. I've come to value Pioneer Pantry for what it is. They've been here for 20 years and I'm just noticing for a month or so now in June 2026. I recently relocated jobs and now work in the downtown Honolulu area. After discovering Pioneer Pantry, I feel like its been a good thing to have when you're running late and didn't have breakfast. Its nice to come here and score some breakfast muffins or those bag of chips, or even cold drinks to have during drab office hours during the day. Pioneer Pantry functions like a 7-Eleven with an actual live kitchen in the back. Pioneer Pantry is a small functioning convenience store that carries most things that many people enjoy on a daily basis. On most mornings, I would enter the store running late to the office and stumble through here. I would pick up a couple of items and a cold drink and be on my way. I wasn't sure if the fountain drink machine was operational or not, so I just grabbed a cold bottle from one of their refrigerators. The prices here can be a bit more than other places, but I was in a rush - most days anyway. The overall experience here at the Pioneer Pantry is good and blessed that they are here. It's nice to have them here for those of us who are rushing to work and have this oasis on the way there for breakfast and other necessities. During the early morning though, they are open along with the Wiki Wiki Drive Inn before 8am. During the lunch hours, they are open along with the other restaurants in the Pioneer Plaza food court fully open for business. The ladies in the back of the store are very friendly and are awesome. Small business owners are amazing for sure. I try to stop by every day here to pick up something for breakfast. Knowing my schedule, I tend to sleep in and rush to work anyway and having Pioneer Pantry here to help is a big boost for me. Majority of my experiences here are happy ones and don't intend on changing. For the most part though, it's always nice to have this place here. While people have their Starbucks or McDonald's in the morning, I rely on Pioneer Pantry for my cold morning beverage of choice, which incidentally includes a cold soda with or without ice. Most people love hot or iced coffee to start their day. I prefer cold soda. Not healthy, but its my thing and it's pretty good. The Pioneer Pantry is located inside Pioneer Plaza building on the 1st floor food court. It's physically located at 900 Fort Street Mall in downtown Honolulu. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. It's next to the taco place and the Subway restaurant. As far as parking is concerned, best bet would be either street parking or paid parking garages nearby. If you are like me, public transportation is good and there's a bunch of bus routes that traverse thru the downtown corridor. Pick the ones that stop off at either Bishop Street or Fort Street Mall and walk on over. And of course, there's always Uber and Lyft and even Tauro, if you need their services. For now though, if you work or pass thru downtown Honolulu and don't like what the others are offering you, consider Pioneer Pantry at the Pioneer Plaza building. It's a nice trip here to grab something on the way to work every morning. Or a quick snack for lunch too. Its definitely a lifesaver when you're running late and you can support local businesses too. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

Located at Kukui Plaza tucked away in the back, you will have to walk pass few shops, to see the handwritten sign of " Best Musubi in Hawaii" posted on the door. Although there are bentos available & other goodies, I am mostly here for the delicious musubi. Why so good? My opinion, lets start with spam, perfectly cooked, with secret sauce, love the umami taste while I took my first bite, and the rice is hot & moist, not watery & not premium rice but it is still good, along with the nori. I loved everything about this musubi. Great spam to rice ratio. The only thing that I need is some of my chili spices! Mom & Pop is super friendly, I remember asking how many musubi's they sell a day and owner mentioned they make and sell over 100 a day. I usually park quick at the loading zone of Kukui Plaza, let the security know and walk over real quick to load up on my musubi(s). Don't forget cash only! First of all since this Longs Drugs is like a hangout for homelessness and just people asking for money. I don't know when they have a security guard posted inside their store but it keep them away from entering and asking people for money. The store I think in a remodeling or just fixing up from our recent hurricane. The pharmacy in the back has big air vents to circulate the air for the workers. Now their check in is different you have to scan either or CVS card or enter your information on the screen. Then the associate will bring the medication to you and ring you up. I mentioned to the associate that it takes time now for US to enter the information which normally they did in the pass. She said for them its faster. Wow what technology is doing to us kupunas. But the main reason was a previous bad experience that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Earlier in the day I went to the doctor's office for some relief to a cold that I've been battling for about 10 days now. OTC remedies were not doing the trick and I was miserable staying at home not wanting to pass my germs to my colleagues. When asked where I wanted to pick up my medications, I usually go to the one in Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center as I'm in Kaneohe a lot for my part time job. But because I wanted to take the medication immediately and for convenience I selected this store next to Pali Hwy. After my doctor's appointment I made a few errands and just after picking up some lunch I received a text advising my two prescriptions were ready for pick up. I originally had planned on going before my 340pm dentist's appointment that's in the See Dai Doo Building. Howeve, I was desperate for relief so I drove here. To my delight the parking lot was not that congested at 1130am. I immediately found an empty parking stall near the entrance. I made a beeline to their pharmacy where there were about 5 people queuing. All 5 were senior citizens and regardless they all had questions to ask the pharmacy staff, the line moved quickly. When it came to my turn my transaction was quick. Replied to the staff's question by providing my DOB and name, she confirmed my 2 prescriptions. I paid for them and then returned to my car. So why only 4-stars? I'm sure you have noticed the undesirable foot traffic of homeless and the mentally unstable in this area. I have witnessed them many times in the past and today was no different. There was a female who was laying down on the pavement and yelling out loud. So sad to witness such incidents in broad daylight. Overall, this Longs Drugs is clean, bright and well organized with its products and displays. I also appreciate the coupons you receive as there are considerable savings that encourages you for repeat visits within the time frame. I hope the management or landlord of this area can clean up the area so that consumers feel safe to shop at either Long's Drugs or Safeway.
