Its main entrance on the first floor is actually quite nice, surrounded by trees. The store definitely caters to tourists and you will find a wide selection of items you'll need for the beach or pool. They also have a nice selection of fresh fruits and other grocery items perfect for a day at the beach. I probably visited this store at least 15 times during my three weeks in Waikiki and I can tell you there's a huge difference when you visit on a weekend versus a weekday. Sometimes they run out of everything on weekends, and restocking can take a few days. So don't get discouraged if you don't find what you need on the first try. Definitely recommend coming here for any items you forgot to pack or for some quick snacks.

Jazzmin told us that the store used to be a Tommy Bahama store, but then the store took it over, and that some TB prints are exclusive to Hawaii (we didn't know that). My husband really wanted one but it wasn't in his size- she checked to see if other stores carried it, but it was available on another island). He did try on a few others too, while I looked at almost everything else in the store (tried on Crocs). I did find a packable, crushable hat at $16.95- pretty good. There were other hats priced up to $29.95. There were a few other customers in the store and Jazzmin managed them (and us) all pretty well. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, and actually make you feel comfortable shopping and asking questions. Which I appreciate, especially since a previous visit with the old store manager, Anthony, did not deliver the same level of service I get when I walk into the store these days.
