John with ABC Plumbing just left and I have to say "Wow". My sink in the garage had overflowed once but it is running ok now. John figured out that it was probably from the detergent in my HE washing machine and when I used the Afresh to clean the washer it broke up some of gook. They are seeing more of slimmy stuff from the detergent and it is causing problems. He said he did not want to take my money and to call him if it really backs up. What a great honest person and I will not use anyone else but him when I have a problem and will recomend him to my friends. The fellas just left and I can't say enough positive things about them! Prompt - even early! They went straight to the main/obvious fix to the problem (vs. spending time going through unnecessary steps that would just take up time and money) and the problem - clogged toilets and backing up drains - are fixed! The problem had evolved over weeks . . . Toilets that 'sometimes' flushed, clogged sinks then every drain in the house backing up and in less than 15 minutes they were done. First time showed up and snaked the wrong port so the issue was not resolved. Called them to come out again and they were An hour late then tried to charge again to fix what they should have done to begin with. They didn't like the "attitude" of the person in the background (who they heard over the phone not in person) who was understandably upset because there's sewage overflowing in their backyard and left because they couldn't own up to their mistake and take responsibility. Set an appointment to have some minor work done for 11am on a Friday. Took off from work to be there for the appointment. After half an hour of no plumber and no call from the business, I decided to give them a call and was told that the plumber would be an hour late. An hour and a half later (12:30pm), I called again to let them know I was cancelling and the person on the phone simply said, "mhm, ok." Possibly the worst/most unprofessional customer service I've experienced in sometime. I don't think it's too much to expect someone to call you if they are going to be late (an hour and a half late to be exact), especially when you book a few days in advance. I would also expect for someone to apologize rather than say, "mhm, ok" when you call to cancel because of crappy service. I would not recommend ABC Sewer and Drain to anyone. Came out to snake my drain and fix my faucet. Drain snaked and is functioning. Faucet is not. They said the parts Moen sent were wrong so instead of putting it back the way the found it, I now have NO hot water and my faucet is dripping and I can't get it to stop. We've had this company come out several times for clogged bathroom pipes. They've always been fast, efficient and courteous. They've taken care of the drain issues in record time. The second time required a repeat visit for which they gladly came out and unclogged it again at no charge. read more

Unbelievable service. We called ABC to replace a sink in a bathroom. The next day the sink started coming away from the wall. I called and the guy came back out put some wood underneath to shimmy it and re- caulked the space between the wall and the sink. of course it didn't hold because all he did was caulk a blank space. When I called again I asked to speak for the owner's name and to speak to him. The guy that answered the phone refused to give me the owners name but then put someone else on the phone that I believe was pretending to be the owner because he also would not give me his name. He then had the nerve to tell me the wood behind the sink was rotten and that he had informed me of that which was absolutely not true. I told him I would never ever authorize anyone to attach a sink to rotten wood and why on earth would they even do that. He then had the nerve to say 99% of his clients want him to do that. I guess I am the 1% if I believed that which I don't. I then called a plumbing contractor to come out and what they found was an appalling jerry-rig of a job where ABC used the old bracket instead of a new one which comes with every new sink. They also added some plywood behind it for God knows what. And to top it off the wood behind the sink was not rotten. So they lied. I would not recommend ABC for anything. Do not use ABC Plumbing came out to house to unplug a drain did not unplug the drain and I ended up really bad leaky drain. Said it was my fault because drain was bad wanted charge me lot money to fix it. Drain was not leaking before they tried to unplug it and after trying to unplug the drain it was leaking really bad. They haven't even made it to my home, and I feel this review is necessary. For starters, my sink in the kitchen started backing up. I called someone local who came out right away to access what the issue may be. He needed to grab more tools to check everything out in the morning (today). He arrived this morning and found it was not something he could fix and that I should check out ABC plumbing. I called them at 10:16am, and was told someone would be out between 12-1pm. (Which sounded great!)1pm rolls around no call, no show. At 2pm I decide to give them a call back to see when someone would be out. I was asked if they could check on it and call me "right back". Sure, no problem. Someone called me back at 3!!... an hour later... says they are running behind so they won't be out until 5- did I want to do it another day?. Umm No, 5 is fine. I need my sink fixed.i also asked if they knew what all was needed to fix it, the guy said yeah, it's in the bathroom. No...it's the kitchen. I told you that this morning and what has already been done! 5pm came and went. I tried calling again at 5:51pm. No answer (of course). I fully understand that people get busy and backed up, but don't lie to people and keep telling them different times. Your customer service has so far shown to be nothing more than crap. Courtesy goes a long way- the same phone that rings to bring you business, should be the same one you use to keep your business- a simple phone call is all it could take. read more

ABC is the best plumbing in Vallejo BY FAR. Don't waste your time and $$ on rip off rooter dudes. I tried to unclog my laundry myself and jammed the snake down the drain. They came within an hour. They retrieved the jammed snake and unclogged the drain pipe ($100 for the snake cable retrieval and $80 to unclog). Professional, fast and inexpensive can't beat it!! read more

There's a reason they are cheap: They're not good. They are incompetent and they can be very rude. In Benicia, they snaked out my sewer drain but, a month later, it needed snaking again. Because 4 weeks had passed, they charged again for the work. In Concord, they charged considerably extra ($190) to snake out the sewer line because they couldn't find the clean-out drain and had to go through the toilet. The plumber who came didn't have the right tools and his van wouldn't start up so I had to jump-start it. The job was not properly done and, 8 days later, the sewer backed up again. They said they'd come and resnake the line the next morning. Every couple of hours, I'd call and ask, "Where are you?" "Oh, we're on our way. Be there in seconds!" They never showed up. Next day, same nonsense. After they finally re-snaked the line, they wanted to charge me another $90. When I argued that it had only been 9 days since the last time they supposedly did the job, Paul the Plumber grabbed my receipts and stormed away. He then called and left a message for me, saying that he hoped my sewer line would back up again and called me an "a---hole." I am amazed by all the 5-star reviews. read more

I have had a slow clog since moving in to my home a few months ago. This morning it became a full clog. I thought it would be fixed with Drano but that didn't help at all. I finally gave in and called this company at 2 pm on a Sunday. Within 30 minutes their technician showed up. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a sewer blockage, got to work, and less than an hour later everything was fixed. The technician even told me what I'd have to do to mitigate the problem, though he did say it would return eventually (stupid roots in my lawn with a really long sewage pipe). Do not use this company. They are unprofessional, disrespectful and extremely rude. What business owner swears at their customers!! After snaking the drain twice, the third time they claimed we needed a new clean out and 20 ft of sewer line. They only replaced 10 ft and when questioned, claimed we really only needed a small French drain that would have only cost us $600 instead of the $1700 we paid them. When asked why he did work he just claimed we didn't really need, the swearing ensued. He would t even tell us his name or he name of the owner of the company. Can't be trusted!!! Two hours ago I called ABC after calling every other option in town. All of them were too busy to come out today. After I called Jose I read some of the Yelp reviews and began to worry. So I am very glad to report a 100% positive review. He was here in slightly less than an hour as promised. He was able to clear the clog in less than half an hour and his charge was #120.00. Most of the other guys wanted more than double that. Jose was fast, friendly, and completely professional in his speech and demeanor. I am completely satisfied with his work. These guys got to my house in about 15 minutes. Called them because I thought my sewage drain was backed up. Well at least that's what the guy from the sewage department said when he came out to my place. We haven't been in our new home for even a month but noticed water leaking at our sewage drain. So the fellow from the city tells me to contact someone to get it cleaned out and that being it was inside my home they aren't responsible for it. So ABC comes out and finds it isn't the drain that's leaking but the leak is coming from my bath tub right above my drain. He suggest I contact my title company since I have insurance and let them handle it. Boy was that a stress relief since the guy from the city told me I couldn't use my water at all due to the back up. Not only did he diagnose the issue in less than an hour after I got off the phone with him. They came out and I didn't have to pay em a dime.. These guys are the best. So glad I went with my gut and didn't call one of the big guys like Rotorooter. Keep in mind even if he did do any work it would be far less than a larger company. read more
