ABC Locksmith located on Sunset in Las Vegas. Private parking lot, ample parking and great service. Came into ABC today to get some old GM wafer door lock cylinders rekeyed. This is the only locksmith in the valley still performing these old school services. While they couldn't rekey it to the ignition key like I wanted, they were able to make keys for it. So if you have an old classic car with lock issues, this is the place in the valley to come to. Counter staff was helpful, locks done in under 48 hours and it was only $90 with 2 keys given. THEY NEVER DID SHOW UP!!! They actually stood me up not just once, and twice! I called them in the a.m., and the dispatcher took my name and address. She assured me their locksmith would be at my condo in Panorama Towers at 4:00 p.m. Great! So 4:00 came and went, and I hadn't heard anything from the locksmith. I called the dispatcher again to ask what happened. Some time later the locksmith texted me, asking for a picture of the lock. I told him that if he wasn't already on his way by now, we would have to reschedule, because the service entrance closes at 4:30. We rescheduled for 8:30 a.m. the next morning, and I sent him the picture he asked for. I explained that he would have to get there right at 8:30 because I had another appointment I had to get to. Once again, I waited around past 8:30, but I never saw or heard from the locksmith. I called the dispatcher to ask what happened to him. She turned it around on me, saying that he had tried repeatedly to do the work, but I wasn't there. Yeah, right! Oddly, she kept calling me "Brigette." When I told her I wasn't Brigette and that he hadn't been there, she yelled at me and then hung up on me. read more

When I moved into my house that I rent, the property management company sent this business out to change the locks on the doors. I had to pay $100 to the property management company for having the locks changed, not sure if this is what they would have charged me if I had them come out on my own? Since its been so many years ago I can't remember the guy's name who came but the work was done properly & he didn't take very long to do it. I did end up going into their business to get some spare keys made of the house key & my mail box key about a week or so later. I also bought a fake rock that you can use to hide a key in that they had sold then. Customer service in the store was great too. I actually just recently stopped in here to get some more keys made to have on hand. No one else was in the store. I was greeted upon walking in & arriving to the counter by a young guy named DJ (I believe that was his name?). He seemed kinda new because he had to ask the guy sitting @ the desk some questions on which keys to use to make the copies. Probably more to do with the mailbox key I wanted a copy of. It didn't take him very long to burn the keys & I was on my way. Of course a few days later I needed to make sure the keys worked in my doors & mail box and they did with no problems. I called ABC Locksmiths to change the front door lock to my rental property. No other service was requested or provided. I was provided a quote on the telephone of $125 which I believed was fair and reasonable. The technician came and said he had to charge me $205 rather than $125. He asked that I pay him "$80 cash and an additional $125" which was charged to my credit card ($205 total). I paid this as I had no other choice. I contacted the accounting department and inquired why my receipt showed that I paid only $125. This was clearly inaccurate. It has been several days and the company won't respond and/or provide a satisfactory explanation of the discrepancy and why I was overcharged. I am contemplating my options at this point and am upset with the poor customer service by management and accounting. ****Any company that requires partial cash and the rest credit card seems shady! I would avoid this company all together and contact someone else to handle your locksmith needs. I have worked with many local locksmiths and this one is by far the worst service and follow up. Had my tenant contact them to rekey their front door early morning with a window between 11-2 for arrival. The time was then delayed to 2:30 by the company because the tenant was running behind. The company then called and said the tenant did not answer the front door and the technician could not come until between 6-9:30 PM. The property is an exterior upstairs unit with stairs leading directly to the unit and the property has a Ring camera with zero detection of anyone. Doorbell did not ring and nobody knocked on the security door. Technician was lying about being at the property. Even the neighbor was outside and stated nobody has come up the stairs at all. When addressed the issue with Liana she was rude and not very helpful at ABC Locksmith and she defended the company and was not interested in seeing the Ring footage. She was unwilling to give her supervisors information either. Do NOT use this company....there are plenty of others that actually provide good service. read more

(Being a AAA member for over 10 years) Bryan (driver) was sent out to check out my battery that I have bought with them (May 2023) and has warranty. Save your time/money and go somewhere else. I requested/paid for a service here and they did not do it. I came here to have a key made for my car (I only had an electric key- wanted a physical one) so we brought in the lock from the trunk. Instead of making a new key they re-keyed the whole lock. So the key didn't work on the front door. Not what I asked for, but also not a huge deal. Well, then covid hit and they were closed for so long and I couldn't get it fixed. I had to go back to college without a key to my front door. My battery died a few times and I wasn't able to unlock my car because they didn't perform the service I asked for. Really inconvenient, had to call roadside assistance to get me in my car since I'm a fool without a key. A few months later I come back into town. I would've gotten it fixed where I live but then I would've had to pay again, and I figured they would be able to fix it for me because they were the ones who messed up, right? Wrong! Incredibly hard to schedule an appointment with. I'm only in town for a few days, but I get something at 9am. Ok, great. They want to charge more money. I guess that's fine, even though it was their mistake, still less than another company. They call me to reschedule for 4pm the same day. Sure. I show up 10 min early. They tell me the locksmith will be there between 4-4:30? What?? Last time I checked, that's not how appointments work and they already rescheduled me. I wait for 30 minutes. I was in need of a key to be copied and Lowe's was unable to make one because they didn't have the key on file. You see, this copy would be of a padlock key and apparently that calls for a specialty key shop. Thankfully, Bob at Lowe's recommended ABC. I drove straight over to discover wood covering the windows and a folding table out front with two ABC guys. Apparently Capriottis has a fire which caused damage to the entire complex. Kudos for still being open and making key magic happen. The men were super helpful in trying to find a key but we didn't have any luck and I had to walk away copyless.The problem isn't their stock of keys. They almost have everything. The problem is that the specific padlock I have isn't American made which means that spare keys are harder to come by. I learned so much about keys while standing outside and left knowing that if I brought the actual lock back they could likely make a copy. They didn't have to be so helpful, especially when they didn't have what I needed and they had literally almost burnt down, but they were. Love that. read more

Our key got stuck in our condo's main door lock and we couldn't even leave home. I called at about 6:15 pm and I was told it'd take him about 90 minutes to arrive however I was gladly surprised that John Bentley showed up promptly in about 45 minutes. He got the key out of the lock considerably fast however he was having a hard time with the metal on the door frame and the door wouldn't open and close. He worked on it so hard and at times I was there to open the door when he would be locked out.
