When we bought our 1965 house in June 2 years ago, the home inspection came back showing insufficient insulation and a lot of ducting connections in need of repair. Nate and his team did a great job repairing everything, which allowed us to get another 2 years out of the rusty AC unit that I didn't think would make it through summer. A few weeks ago, just as the weather was getting hot and I was 9 months pregnant. and due in a matter of days, multiple parts of our cooling system broke down. Nate and his guys came out ASAP and were super upfront about what was broken, how much it would cost to repair, and what kind of longevity (or lack there-of) we could except if we decided to repair instead of replace. We knew when we bought the house that the AC system was on borrowed time, so we decided to replace. ABC got our entire condenser replaced and running flawlessly in a day. They came out and inspected everything to make sure to give me a competitive bid. They were not much more then the lowest but the equipment they were using was way better and Passed Newport Beach crazy noise laws! When they went to install it they found out that during a remodel ny return air duct was disconnected and cut off in a wall. They asked for my approval and they cut into the wall and found and repaired the ducting! THEY ARE SO KNOWLEDGEABLE and helpful! I am beyond happy! I had a leak in my ceiling from my AC, though it was cooling and functioning. Two other companies with good reviews on Yelp tried very hard to convince me the only option was a complete new system, which didn't add up in my head. Fortunately ABC and Nick showed up and was very competent technically and detailed. Great thing it was an easy assessment on what my unit needed and not expensive. Ordered parts and Manny came back to install. I cannot say enough about how these guys exhibited honesty and competence. Bought a new house recently and I wanted to have two of my heating ducts re-routed due to a noise issue as two of my bedrooms were sharing the same register. ABC responded immediately when I inquired with them about the work online. Two technicians were dispatched promptly and inspected my attic and current set up. I had shopped around for quotes for a week ABC had by far the best pricing in my area. When the technicians came out to perform the work they were very courteous and polite. They took all the proper safety precautions due to COVID19 as well. I am very pleased with the work performed. This company is great. I hired ABC on a referral from a friend. I had them install an AC unit with a Nest thermostat in my Newport Beach Condo. They were really great to work with. They contacted the HOA and took care of all the city permits necessary. Nate the owner came out over the course of the project to inspect the work. My father had to have his 40-year old heater replaced. Nate came out and gave a thorough inspection and extremely reasonable quote for an extensive amount of work. The morning of the installation, the 2 primary technicians, Manuel and Pedro showed up on time and were extremely polite and knowledgeable. Nate also worked at our job site. They prepped, laid a drop cloth so as not to damage anything, retrofitted and did a bunch of other technical stuff before installing his new, more quiet and efficient heater. Since then we've had an issue with a manufacture recall part and in a true test of a contractor, ABC was there to correct the problem under warranty. Before selling us a part we may not need, he said we might want to get our gas pressure checked by the gas company. If that was our issue then we would not need a new gas valve. My heater stopped working during a couple cold, rainy days and I was frantically trying to get anyone to come out and fix it, but everyone was booked out for days. I called ABC Heating and spoke to Nate. They were also pretty booked up, but he took the time to diagnose the problem over the phone and went above and beyond. He got me on FaceTime and literally walked me through how to fix the furnace and we got it back up and running in 10 minutes! It was amazing that he knew exactly what the problem was before he even saw the furnace and that he was so willing to help out! I have never had a better customer experience, and I technically wasn't even a customer! Clearly this business puts the needs of people over money. We just moved into a home built in the 1950s. After finding asbestos in the ceiling and attic, we needed to have the old ducting removed and completely replaced with a condenser (the old system didn't have Air Conditioning, only heating) and a new furnace. Nick came out on time to give a quote, and was able to quickly and succintly explain what he recommended we needed, and what our best options were. We received 5 bids for the air conditioning system, and ABC was not only the lowest, they were also the only company that didn't try to "up-sell" us on more features than what we actually needed.
