I like the "sit in" kind more than the get out and wait kind, so Splash was a great option. On the up side, free vacuuming and mat washing is a big plus. You do it, so take the time and effort you need. Then, there's the ride in wash. Great experience for small kids and you never have to get out of the vehicle! Win-Win all around. You do sacrifice the bumper to bumper stuff line cleaning the windows and dashboard and a dry off but that's a small price to pay. On the downside, which there used to never be one, the minimal attention the staff had to pay is even less now. It started both sides, as well as the front and rear, got a "pre-wash" spraying with a little more attention paid to the tires and rims for good measure. Then it went to just the driver side and the windows...now it's nearly the windows...like they're bothered at having to do it. Also, it seems like something is "missing" from the inside of the car wash...like a set of brushes or scrubbers or something are no longer there...can't put my finger on it but something is not there. It's been going on for a while. Lastly, I understand they're going to ask you to get the monthly unlimited wash package, but I say "no thank you ", can it just be left at that please? I don't need the "Why not?" I get it kinda pays for itself after a couple of washes but I don't was the car every week. While I understand prices going up, I should still get a level up service that I've had previously at the same place. I'll still come from time to time, but maybe washing my own car is looking like a good option. Still a "good" place, but used to be much better ...and just a couple of tweaks will bring it back. Again, not a bad place.
