After falling in love with this venue my Fiancé and I decided on to book our wedding at Abbott Manor. We gave them a deposit and signed their contract. We loved the fact that they are a "family owned and operated" per there website. A few weeks into planning our wedding - I had a friend reach out to me and ask if I had heard anything about our wedding venue and the owner. I didn't know what they were referring to so I asked for more details. I was informed by the friend that the owner of Abbott Manor was arrested just a few months prior for "attempting to meet 13-year-old for sex." I didn't know how to even handle this information. This was not only so heart breaking but also very triggering for me. I didn't understand why they weren't honest with me about the arrest upfront. After doing further research the owner is facing three charges relating to sex with a minor. And another article stating, "Another long-time member at Faith Baptist Church in Wildomar, CA has been arrested." The Abbott Manor wedding venue is on the Abbott family property so thinking of our wedding day to be at this location just shot anxiety and sadness through me. I honestly feel like people need to know - this doesn't seem right not warning people who are choosing a wedding venue that the owner was arrested for this. I feel like our wedding day was robbed of its innocence. Abbott manor has claimed that the owner is no longer involved in the business however per the California Secretary of State public business search; Albert Henry Abbott II is the Sole owner (one manager) active owner company and has been since March of 2007. After reaching out to the venue, explaining what information had been found and asking for our deposit or even offering to work with their arbitration company (who had shut down a year prior) they are refusing to return our deposit and are stone walling us to keep our money. I wish they had informed me about this upfront so we wouldn't be in the situation. Personally, I would not have chosen this venue if I had known this fact I honestly feel like people need to know. The venue was exactly what we wanted in terms of services provided, as it is not an all-in-one venue like many wedding venues nowadays and it allowed us a lot of freedom to bring in outside vendors. After looking around at other venues around the North County/Riverside area, my fiance and I were extremely impressed with the honest, up-front approach that Albert (the owner/coordinator) takes with his venue. The pricing is competitive and fair, the venue is gorgeous, the photographers (Gabe and Britt) were fantastic, there was absolutely no "nickel-and-diming" going on whatsoever, and the package he offered really was very inclusive. In addition, Albert was an absolute professional coordinator/planner. He helped guide my fiance and I through every step of the planning process; from selecting our various vendors, to sorting through the minutia of detail surrounding our wedding. It was really refreshing to see that even while operating as a successful business, Abbott Manor's top priority is still the Bride and Groom, and their happiness on their wedding day. Last, but certainly not least, he and his staff did a wonderful job on the day of the wedding. Every decoration was set up, as planned, by the time we walked into the venue at noon on our wedding day. He walked us (and the bridal party, plus parents) through all of the timing and motions for the ceremony, and worked with the DJ to help keep everything flowing smoothly. We have since heard nothing but compliments and praise from our guests, saying that this was: "the most fun wedding they've been to" ... "the venue was beautiful" ... I came here for a November 2019 wedding and it was a lovely setting. There was a casual, wine country vibe and plenty of room to spread out. The ceremony and reception were both outdoors and the weather was comfortable the whole evening. Tacos were tasty and drinks were plentiful. We had our wedding last year in October and ran into many issues with Albert (our main POC). We were changing our contract around to have the wedding after a year had passed, so that all our friends and family would be comfortable attending. Note this is pre-vaccine. He wrote us up an addendum, told us we were all set, and then hid a part of the contract where we would need to pay the entire price of the wedding even if we did not have it in 2021. This is an understandable addendum, if explained. He did not explain over our hour long Skype call, trying to sneak it in. Thankfully I read contracts, called him out on it, and he was visibly rude for the rest of our planning. The venue itself is gorgeous - beautiful gardens. We ended up having a 25 person intimate gathering at the Manor. But at our rehearsal he agreed to give our bridal party instructions the day of, and did not. We originally decided on AM because we liked that we could provide our own caterer and alcohol, yet much of the wedding needs were already included (photographer, planner, decorations, etc). Albert worked with us throughout the journey of planning to help us create a unique, memorable day that was unique to us. He knew the ins-and-outs of wedding days, and thus helped guide us when we were unsure of a decision here or there. He also stepped outside of his own comfort zone to help us make some different requests happen for us, like smoke bombs during our ceremony! The day of, Albert and his staff work hard to make sure that everything runs smoothly. If/when there was a glitch in the day, I barely noticed because they work hard to make sure your day is seamless. They're nice and had fun discussing what our vision was. During the wedding I had so much fun and didn't notice anything, which is exactly perfect. ATMOSPHERE: The venue is undeniably beautiful. With so many different flowers and back drops, of course our wedding looked amazing. PRICE: everything was included. We didn't have a wedding party and it was fine bc EVERYTHING was taken care of by the venue exactly the way they said. What they advertise as included, was. SERVICE: They helped set up everything on the tables. They set up the ceremony area. They helped serve desserts. We didn't have a wedding party and neither of us wanted to worry about anything the day of- and we didn't. I was just waiting for everything to start bc there was nothing for me to do (and everyone worried I would be busy...) Literally the only thing that went "wrong" was that some people didn't realize there was more dessert so we had a lot of leftover. (The first rounds went quick and guests didn't realize there was more. I think this could have been avoided if we had the DJ announce it again. It was not a big deal. Our officiant was impressed by Albert Abbott's professionalism, and we were impressed with his flexibility for last-minute changes that had to be made the day of (even when there was some light rain at the beginning of the day). Please note that in paying for this venue, the cost of a predetermined photography company is included as part of the package, so in your research be sure to see if the photographers' style matches your preference. Be sure to ask them beforehand to make sure you get pictures all around Abbott Manor so you can take full advantage of its beauty, since we did not realize that we had to specifically ask for that and did not get those pictures. In addition, Albert Abbott was our main contact point for the wedding design process, and talking with him during the research process will help you decide whether this is the right venue for you (his wife Michelle often gives the tours and answers questions, but you will be working with Albert with designs and planning). Particularly during this difficult and unsettling past year of COVID-19, having an outdoor venue was appreciated by our guests. We just had our wedding at Abbott Manor and I couldn't have picked a better venue! The grounds are naturally beautiful and blooming with flowers during the day, only to be followed by beautiful lit up trees and other lights decorating the place at night. There were so many parts of the property that provided great photo ops for both the bridal party and the guests who were enjoying the property. In addition, the outdoor setting made all of our guests so relaxed with room to move around and mingle. This was refreshing following multiple weddings I attended as a guest where we were in a darkened hotel ballroom. We received such rave reviews about our wedding! My wedding was at the Abbott Manor in July - I cannot recommend this venue enough!! I would give 10 stars if it was an option. The venue is a beautiful garden space and fit perfectly with what we were looking for. But beyond the beauty of the space, the thing that really sets Abbott Manor apart is Albert and Michelle. They go above and beyond to make your event perfect! They are full of wonderful vendor recommendations (the one issue we had with a vendor is when we strayed from their advice). They know the Temecula event scene like the back of their hand, so truly, listen to what they have to say. Albert is Mr. Wedding! He can help guide you through all of the logistics. The smallest things you would never think of will get caught by him - for example, he kept the grooms brothers from going down the aisle with sunglasses on, and in the process, saved our photos. You know how everybody says the bride and groom never get to eat? Albert has your back...he went and fixed us a plate of food. Words cannot describe how incredible this venue is, from top to bottom. Albert, Michelle and his team are absolutely incredible! Every vendor I brought in (florist, DJ and officiant) were STUNNED at how much his team does for the bride and groom and how great they are at their craft. We found them after our original winery venue that had been booked since December of 2015, fell to pieces (separate review, it wasn't pretty). I was calling EVERY winery left in Temecula to see if our date was available (six months out, I had no luck) The last one I called I was almost in tears explaining my story and he told me to call Abbott. Once I saw their website and everything that was included for the price, we dropped everything to go see the venue and it was even more breathtaking in person! We signed everything that day and my now husband even pulled Albert aside and asked "so what's the catch?" Albert was such an easy going professional from day one, his response was perfect; "I can charge you more if you'd like" We went through quite a journey with his team, my father passed away two months before the wedding, our DJ passed away one month before, job changes, a lot happened. They were there every step of the way. On the big day I was almost in tears of how perfectly they executed the theme we were going for, how great it looked. They even re did our dessert table because they knew what we wanted more than the cake designer! Everyone asked my my maid of honor the whole day "so what went wrong? The staff really pulled everything together seamlessly, and I never imagined that the big day would be so stress-free as a bride. Throughout the entire planning process, Michele was super helpful and always responded to our emails right away. Depending on who you use as vendors (food, DJ, officiant, etc), this may be the most affordable place to get married in the heart of wine country during prime wedding season. There were no hidden fees or anything surprising like that. Not to mention, my husband and I were one of the many couples that had to postpone our original wedding date in 2020 due to the pandemic, and Abbott Manor was very flexible with our date change while still honoring our original down-payment. We just had my daughter's wedding at Abbott Manor on Saturday, April 10th, 2021. All I can say is you don't need to look any further for the best place to host your wedding. First of all, Albert the owner of Abbott Manor is so organized and detail oriented that the wedding went off without a single issue. We toured and booked this venue in February of 2020 and he scheduled several planning meetings with my daughter and son-in-law to work out all the details of their dream wedding. The price for the wedding package is very affordable and has lots of things included that you have to pay extra for at other venues. The package includes wedding coordination, tables, chairs, table linens, the photographer, iced tea and lemonade for guests, all set-up before the wedding and take down at the end of the wedding. Over the course of the year before the wedding we collected specific decorations that my daughter wanted and delivered those to Albert on Wednesday before the wedding. He and his staff took it from there and did all the set -up according to conversations and planning meetings with the kids and the notes and sketches he made during the meetings. We did not have to do a single thing for the set-up and it turned out exactly how my daughter had envisioned it. At the end of the night everything was taken down and packed in our cars so all we had to do was drive away. In addition to the goods and services provided, Albert has a list of preferred vendors for catering and DJ services who he has worked with successfully over the years. At Albert's suggestion, we used Mike from Dellinger Entertainment for our DJ services and we loved him. He did a fantastic job! We had our rehearsal on Thursday evening before the wedding and it was the most well run and informative rehearsal any of us had ever attended. Albert left nothing to chance. He covered exactly where to stand, where to stop for pictures during both the processional and the recessional, how to hold the bouquets, and even tips on making toasts so you wouldn't end up as a laughing stock on You Tube. He walked us through exactly how everyone would be lined up, how they would walk in and out, how the bridal party would be introduced after the ceremony, how meal service, appetizers, and drinks would be handled, and how the cake cutting and dessert bar would be served. I could probably go on and on even more but let me just end by saying my daughter and son-in-law had their dream wedding at Abbott Manor and I don't think you can go wrong if you choose to use this venue for your dream wedding. read more

There are so many good things to say about Abbott Manor. First off, it's a beautiful and lush garden setting in the middle of the vineyards of Temecula. There are walkways bounded by greenery and waterways, a pretty gazebo for dancing, and a lovely covered patio for eating. Seriously beautiful. Second, outside food and drink (both alcohol and regular, bottles or kegs) is allowed (a rare thing to find in most SoCal wedding venues) AND they also provide bartenders. Please note - it is a soft bar (wine/sparkling/beer) only with the exception of two signature drinks (within drink dispensers) of your choice. You'll also need to provide your own plates, cutlery, napkins, and glasses if your caterer doesn't include it with their food. However, endless water, tea, and lemonade are offered throughout the night. Last - but certainly not least - it's Albert and Michele, the couple that owns and runs Abbott Manor, that makes it stand out from the rest. Fun fact - the first wedding at this site was theirs :). They are above and beyond the reason that we had such an amazing wedding and one true to us. Both of them are very friendly, very nice people who are also very upfront and helpful with everything. They gave us great advice and suggestions on how to handle food truck logistics, wedding decor ideas, and what to look for (and watch out for) in vendors/sites - and that was just our first meeting. There was no "hard-sell" and they listed out exactly what was included in their flat fee rate. At this time, the fee included day of photography + engagement photo, use of the site for rehearsal the week of, wedding coordination services, set up/tear down (they even pack your car for you at the end of the night), bartending/bussing, both a bride AND groom suite, and use of the site on your wedding day from noon til 10 pm. Not to mention, they offer up any decorations, vases, etc that they have if you'd like to borrow them for your wedding day decor. Albert is your main point of contact (he's the coordinator) but they were both incredibly responsive, had a great eye for details, and (honestly) kept us on track so we could just relax in the lead up to the wedding. Even though my daughter didn't like a few things in the pics and that there was only 1 option for a ceremony set up I still encouraged her to go look and with that being said I booked an appointment for a tour. I receive an email confirmation as well as a text confirmation of our appointment time. It was at 2:00pm, we arrived early 1:20pm, because the venue prior to this one we looked at didn't take as long as we thought. So we knew we were going to have to wait but when we arrived we were greeted by a man who said we were extremely early and he had vendors he was attending to and that we could have a seat. So we sat and entertained ourselves discussing guest lists. It was 2:00 and no one came over to greet us or speak to us at all. It was 2:02 and since we had other venues set up and on a tight schedule being from out of town I walked over and inquired about how much longer and the man stated our appointment was at 2:30 and he appeared to be irritated like we would be disrupting his schedule by doing it now. So we decided to eliminate this venue from our list! If you can't manage a venue tour time I'm not gonna trust you with our daughters wedding! On our way walking out there was another sign this was not the right place for us we run into a snake on the pathway that guests would be walking to the ceremony/reception area!! Just my 2 cents for people who look at reviews! Hopefully you'll have better luck with scheduling an on-time venue tour! Well I was never asked what time my appointment was I was told it was 2:30 but that was incorrect and while we were waiting he apparently was working with vendors who were setting up as when I asked them about who to talk to they told me they don't work there they are just setting up. But the whole time we were waiting we could hear him talking to the vendors about set-up and they said they were setting up for a wedding that wasn't until Saturday. If you are getting married in Temecula, stop looking for your venue. Abbott Manor is a hidden gem! It felt like fate when we found them - after seeing other "cookie cutter" reception halls/golf courses and crazy-expensive wineries, we knew that finding the Abbotts was special. The property is jaw-droppingly beautiful and offers a romantic, private feel - it's wine country without the cost. All of our guests gushed about how it feels like a secret garden with its ponds, lush florals and twinkly lights (read: barely any decor is needed). Their package took a good deal of details off our plate (linens, tables, photography, coordination) which makes it a great value too, so when we found out that prices are almost a THIRD of most other places we had looked at we were thrilled... But really, what makes it special is Albert Abbott and his wife Michele. Albert is incredibly responsive; he often replied to emails within hours and always responded immediately to any issues (including answering endless questions and making countless changes with saint-like patience). Even when we had a few issues after the wedding, he was open and took time to listen, and helped us coordinate with vendors to get those issues resolved. We often marveled at how he does it all, but all we know is that he worked 110% to make us happy - because it is their family business, they genuinely care and that is clear in everything they do. Abbott Manor offers unlimited coordination services, which was so valuable to us. From the beginning, despite their very full calendar, we felt like we were the only wedding on the books. Albert and Michele made time for us almost any time we needed it (evenings, short-notice, even holidays!) and were invested in making our experience as personal as possible. I loved that it is half-done and half-DIY, so we could personalize many aspects; guests remarked how much the wedding felt like "us", and we were grateful to have Albert offering advice (and reigning us in) when needed. He offered checklists and diagrams, took detailed notes, and kept us on track for our timeline. He pointed out logistical issues and steered us towards better options, always giving ideas to keep to our budget (a highlight was that when our florist was charging crazy $$ for rosemary that the Abbotts provided it from their own garden!! What other venue would do that?!) There are just 2 other things you should be aware of about Abbott Manor: 1) you are not able to get ready at the property until noon - but that's because the Abbott staff was busy setting up, so we didn't have to do any of that (and they even packed it all back in the car at the end of the night... a huuuuuge help!) For us, getting ready off-site was not a problem but a good thing to know in advance. 2) The fact that photography is included. It took over 60 days to receive them back so I would have preferred a photographer with better general responsiveness and a faster return time. However, in the end our photos were beautiful so that was not a disappointment - again, just something to know. We could not have made a better choice of a venue for our wedding. My mom said it all when she said that at the end of the year, she felt like Albert and Michele were part of our family... they are simply great people and they do a phenomenal job. In large part because of Abbott Manor, we will forever look back on our wedding day as a magical (stress-free) night. read more

We had our dream wedding at Abbott Manor this summer. It was everything we wanted. Guests told us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to. The venue is spacious, beautiful, and very inviting. Albert the venue's owner and event coordinator was very accommodating and has great intuition to what makes a wedding great. He has many years of experience and so he was able to guide us in making a perfect wedding plan. He has many connections with great vendors and they all worked together great. Unlike other venues that forces you to use their overcharged catering services, we were able to use our own caterer who was a family friend and save a lot of money, huge bonus for us. The venue is huge! Although an outdoor venue, the dining area is covered and the dance floor is in a large gazebo which allowed us to put up a beautiful chandelier/tulle design and also kept the guest cool from the summer Temecula heat. There's also a large garden/yard area where we put out lawn games, a waterfall backdrop, and also a pond with a bridge to take pictures. And at night the place lights up with twinkle lights on the trees! Its right in the Temecula wine country and half the price as other winery venues! I can't say enough good things about Abbott Manor! Highly recommend it to have a beautiful unforgettable garden wedding! read more

AMAZING! My husband and I were recommended Abbott Manor by our sister-in-law, when she did hair/make-up for a wedding at the venue and raved about how beautiful it was. Albert (owner/event coordinator) was SO helpful!! He was always VERY quick to respond to every email and provided loads of information for us. He invited us to come to Abbott Manor for a tour, and we were blown away! It's a beautiful garden, created and cared for by the family. There are trees, flowers, and little ponds/waterfalls everywhere. You feel like you're in another world, especially in the evening when all the twinkling lights are on throughout the garden. Absolutely beautiful!! Guests have yet to stop telling me how lovely the setting was. Through the whole planning process, Albert was such a HUGE help! Anytime we needed advice, he was always quick to help out, whether it be through emails, phone calls, or on site meetings. He was very flexible and constantly offered us advice for how to stay in budget. Overall, we had a wonderful experience working with Albert and his wife! We toured his beautiful venue and it was clear he was proud to share this gem with us and eager to help plan our wedding. Our decision was based solely on location -- we decided that Temecula was a little far out for our family to travel. He is straight-forward and doesn't give a hard sell. No badgering with follow-ups after our meeting. At every venue since Abbott, we have hoped and prayed that they also have an Albert on site. We literally just had to show up on the day of the wedding. No setting up, no manning any tables, nothing! Albert & team setup the whole venue and everything looked AMAZING.
