Reasonable, honest plumber who does excellent work!…read more On June 6, 2026, I was in the Bronx helping a family with a water leak in their nearly 100-year-old house. This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.

They were refreshingly…read moreprofessional and organized and did a good job** We recently purchased a 100 year old home in New Rochelle with an oil boiler on its last leg. Thankfully it lasted us through a single burning season and died right at the end if spring. We needed a boiler installed before the next burn season and were interested in all the options from oil burners to gas with high efficiency units. Having gone through multiple renovations with good and bad experiences, my wife and I are very discerning and methodical about contractors so we called essentially everyone available for a quote and rated them on price, professionalism, and perceived expertise. Flotechs tied for the cheapest and was one of the more knowledgeable contractors. We went ahead with flotechs for a 95% wall mount boiler; Standard units were cheaper but the cost of a chimney liner(pretty much required for standard units) wiped out any savings plus we get significant space back since the wall mount unit is so small. During the job I added additional work like moving all the huge low hanging pipes into the ceiling and adding piping for a gas dryer and they did the work as a part of a job for a reasonable price. Flotech finished the job without any surprises, issues, on budget and on time. We will be renovating our bathroom in the basement next year and we know exactly who we will be using.
