This place is so cool! It's legit an abandoned building being converted into eclectic living/working spaces. They share the parking lot with a local dispensary. While you sip on their delicious selection of IPAs (pups are welcome too), you get to lock love eyes with the brewing equipment neatly displayed in the back. Brewtenders we're knowledgeable and fruitful with their drinking tips. If you want a good suggestion the Dirty girl is where it's at, she's light, sweet and then boom where's my wallet? You won't regret the trip.

Pretty cool little spot. Venue itself isn't as good as the other brewery in the building, but the beer itself is generally better. Dirty Girl and Other End were both good enough I would order them when out somewhere. They don't sell single cans unfortunately, or I would have picked some more up. (Couldn't justify four packs right then....my beer fridge is already quite full and not getting turned over fast enough.) Split one with pops instead. Maybe next time... Oh, and no food truck on Sunday's apparently, but they have chips and nuts for purchase.

Such a great selection of beers. I went there for my sisters birthday and had a blast. They had live music and plenty of seating. We came in when it was busy with a party of 6 and they were able to seat us in one of the picnic tables. They have a BYOF policy and allow orders from the nearby restaurants since they don't sell anything other than small snacks. I loved the look of the place and had a blast talking to the staff about beers and getting an endless amount of flights. 100% recommend!

Pretty cool space if you don't get lost or discouraged before finding it. The parking lot has Honda Civic-sized pot holes that would break your axle. There are no signs to direct you to this place and we actually stumbled over another microbrewery sign with City in the name before we found this location. It would help if the entrance to your establishment was not hidden behind a big white 18-wheeler trailer. Just saying. Once we got there for the Poems and Pints night, we tastes some decent brews. Of course we enjoyed the Dirty Girl name but my favorite was the Odin. I'll be back. During day light. With my hiking boots.

I came here with my mum after visiting Insa Easthampton. We were wonderfully surprised by the warm and laid back atmosphere. I enjoyed the descriptions of the beers, but it was the "Nothing but a G Thang" that stole my attention, and then ensnared my tastes. It's light, rich, pleasant, and too nice to be an IPA, honestly. My mom liked her beer flight, and we played checkers and Jenga. This was a Great Sunday Afternoon. There were even dogs! I'm glad we spent it here.

If you like good beer and you are up for an adventure, Abandoned Brewery is a great place to check out. It is a little hard to find because you have to pull in behind an abandoned building and weave your way to the back of the building. Once you are there, the place opens up into a warm and bright tasting room with plenty of comfortable seating. They have sampler flights as well as beers for purchase. Then, you can pick what you would like for your growler fills. The beer is great - I am a lover of IPAs and their Hoppy Valley IPA is delicious. They also have a really nice saison - Lola's Saison. This is a must stop for me when I am in the area because the people are nice and the beer is great. It is a really nice item to take over to a friend's house to share or to bring home and enjoy. Currently their tasting room hours are Tuesday and Friday from 5-7pm and Saturday from 12-6pm. Their hours change from time to time so you can always call to make sure they are accurate - 413-282-7062. Stop in and enjoy!

Although I found parking to be a little bit of a challenge, which might be blamed on my GPS is telling me to try to park out front, parking is in the back, this is a divine little place to sit and enjoy yourself. There are a lot of breweries in the area, and this one is not very different from other ones, With the exception of having a nice logo any interesting location Once I figured out how to get down into the place. I'm rolling my eyes at myself, don't worry.I did enjoy the Dirty Girl IPA which is hoppy with a slightly bitter aftertaste and nicely flavored and strong like a good IPA should be. Unfortunately, I went here for an event so I did not have the chance to sample more than one beer here. On the other hand, of all the breweries I have been to, the acoustics in here were amazing. I have heard Ben Cosgrove play before, and his little keyboard tends to have a muted sound. In this room , it sounded like you were sitting inside a seashell, immersed in this overwhelmingly beautiful sound of nature. It was a breathtaking surprise. Even the friendly disposition of the bartender was enough to make me want to come back.

Originally from Vermont, Berzins began looking for a good location to open a brewery after attending the Siebel Institute for Brewing in 2010. He settled on a former hay field in Easthampton at the base of Mount Tom. He chose Easthampton for the city's delicious, environmentally protected water. He was also enamored with the community's friendliness and sense of welfare. Berzins adheres to the Reinheitsgebot German purity law for the majority of his beers. Per the age-old law, the beer can only be produced with four ingredients: water, hops, malt, and yeast. At first, Fort Hill only brewed lagers. More recently they have ventured into hoppier territory with the addition of IPAs. My son and I recently visited Fort Hill Brewery while we were cycling the large network of bike trails in and around Northampton. The brewery is conveniently located right alongside the spur trail section of the Manhan Rail Trail. The location had seating available outside as well as inside and was quite packed when we arrived. The draught menu that day featured about 20 different beers of varying styles. Being the hop head that I am, I decided to order a sampler flight of five IPAs. It consisted of "G-Fresh" (Grapefruit IPA), "Disco Kid" (IPA), "Fresh Pick" (NEIPA), "Checkmate Chuck" (DIPA) and "Jigsaw Jazz" (DIPA). They were all pretty good, but "G-Fresh" and "Fresh Pick" were my two favorites. My son and I grabbed a table by the brewery's small stage and we listened to the blues sensations of Wildcat O'Halloran's band while I enjoyed my beer samples. We had a nice time at Fort Hill Brewery and I would definitely stop by again!

I had two beers, and both very tasty. The Pianist, is exactly what I'd usually gravitate towards a great sour, with a bit of a twist. I also had Corrupt Cranberry, this is not for everyone, but I enjoyed it. It's a seltzer beer, I've never heard of such a thing. It's very unique, a bit more watery then the average beer, but also very flavorful. The night I was here, there was live music. This is a great little brewery that I enjoyed checking out. I have to add, they charge $2.00 for beer sampling. I'm not sure how big the samples are, this might be a covid reason. This is also a dog friendly brewery.

Berkshire Brewing Company is a craft brewery that opened in South Deerfield, Massachusetts in 1994…read more It was founded by brewers Gary Bogoff and Christopher Lalli. Bogoff was originally a general contractor and cabinet maker before he took up home brewing as a hobby in 1991. He and Lalli would soon realize that they both had a passion for quality beer, so they decided to open their own brewery. They had a dream to introduce premium lager drinkers to the world of quality craft beer. The location they picked in South Deerfield to house their new operation was a former cigar manufacturing plant. By word of mouth, and taste buds, their flagship beer "Steel Rail Pale Ale" became an instant success with beer drinkers in Western Massachusetts. All BBC beer is unfiltered, unpasteurized, and contains no chemical additives or preservatives. Lalli would leave the business after 20 years, but Bogoff continues to grow the company. BBC is now one of the largest craft breweries in New England. My wife and I first visited Berkshire Brewing Company in April 2014. This was one of the first craft breweries that we ever visited and toured. It's relatively close to the popular Yankee Candle Village. At that time, tours were only done on Saturdays at 1:00 PM sharp. Our tour guide was Bob Migliaccio, who was the brewmaster at that time. He asked everyone to simply call him 'Brewmaster Bob'; he was quite the character. We were really impressed with the facility and all of the equipment. As you can imagine, customers were treated to generous samples of beer in the 'Dick Schatz' Tap Room. Schatz was a retired volunteer who worked at BBC until he passed away in 2006. He donated his large collection of beer memorabilia to the brewery and it now adorns the taproom. Not only did customers get to sample several of BBC's mainstays, but even some experimental beers that weren't available to the general public. My favorite BBC offerings would have to be "Green Gown Double IPA", "Drayman's Porter", "Coffeehouse Porter", and "The Russian Imperial Stout". Although several New England craft breweries have come and gone over the years, BBC has persevered for nearly 30 years and I hope that they continue to brew excellent brews for several more years.

The food here is your basic snacks, and we don't mind if we have to have a couple of pretzels with dipping sauce to enjoy our beer outside with. If you like inside, the inside has spacious sitting and it is really nice to have an option where you can sit with someone and have a conversation and not feel like you need to shout over the people next to you. Two Weeks Notice is the kind of spot that reminds you why Springfield has its own brand of cool. It's got that gritty‑creative, blue‑collar‑meets‑art‑kid energy, and the brewery leans all the way in with its Simpsons‑inspired humor, cheeky can art, and a vibe that feels like the unofficial taproom of Cool Springfield, USA. The Simpsons theme is everywhere--subtle enough not to feel gimmicky, but clever enough that fans will grin every time they spot a reference. The artwork alone is worth a visit; it's playful, bold, and gives the whole place a personality that stands out in the Western Mass beer scene. The beer selection hits that sweet spot: hazies for the juice chasers, crisp lagers for the purists, and a rotating lineup that keeps regulars on their toes. Everything is poured fresh, cold, and with care. The staff? Genuinely friendly, quick with recommendations, and clearly proud of the place.
