As soon as I arrived, I noticed the great curb appeal and convenient parking lot. After a certain time, you do have to be buzzed in, but once inside, I was instantly greeted. The store has everything you could need for all of your Chicago sports teams, and they even offer custom items! Rebecca was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the pickup process was easy breezy. The store was clean, organized, and well stocked. I can't believe this was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last. Happy shopper!

Customer service is insultingly bad. I bought a Ditka sweater vest, I washed following instructions…read moreand the threading started coming apart, before i ever wore it. Rather than support a return or refund or offer any kind of support, the response I got was that their "standard refund/return policy" to not to accept an item if it's been washed. Now I'm stuck with a defective product that I'll never feel comfortable wearing due to how heartless they handled. $145ish after tax for a piece of junk. I'll never shop there again, and as a long term resident of wrigleyville, and somebody who works at the field, I'll absolutely be sharing my experience if their name ever comes up. This could have completely been handled with dignity and grace, instead it was met with zero accountability for product integrity.

Importantly, I will add that I'm a 62 yo female who had the exact same experience as everyone else who reviewed so encourage anyone who may feel intimidated for any reason to set that aside and just go. Dave is passionate about golf, determined to get you the right fit, and takes a huge amount of time loaded with patience to ensure you are satisfied but also that he is satisfied. Case in point: After buying a new set of 7-UW irons several months ago, I came back to get fitted for a new driver (to match my gorgeous new irons, so I thought...). After 2 hours of watching me hit balls, analyzing my swing, and throwing in a lot of great coaching, he kindly and gently advised to work on my swing (apparently a driver swing is completely different than with an iron. Who knew?) and see if I can correct some of my inconsistencies. To be fair, I'm coming back to golf after a 5 year hiatus and 3 joint replacement surgeries, so I'm a mess. However, Dave ended saying he would not feel comfortable selling me a $500-700 driver that may not give me the best performance (because of my swing). That was after 2 hours of his full attention. If that doesn't convince you to go to Dave, I'm not sure what will. And, yes, his mom is the absolute sweetest.

My main motivation for stopping in the store was to try Hoka running shoes since many people mentioned liking them and I'm preparing for my first race. I was surprised that I wasn't as impressed with them as I was the shoes I ended up purchasing. I appreciated Oscar calling a nearby store to hold the shoes I wanted in the color I wanted as well (since this store did not have the color I was looking for.) I recommend asking for Oscar when you stop in! It's a great location, quite welcoming, good lighting and there is a treadmill to try out the shoes you try on.
