I've been coming here for years now and used to always go to Sim but as she is no longer there I had to find somebody new that I could trust with my brows. I had gone to different ladies that I was always unhappy with how my eyebrows turned out until I went to Sonu! She was awesome and super gentle - typically I break out after threading but it was super minimal (hardly anything really) since she was so gentle and careful! Sim is great. I am always pleased when she does my eyebrows. I don't wear a lot of make-up and don't pencil or fill in my eyebrows. She does an exceptional job, my eyebrows are always on point, she knows exactly how I like my eyebrows done. She is very sweet, professional, and quick. I've been coming here for three years and I am always happy with the result! All of the threaders do a fantastic job, but I typically see Bina and her customer service is really though the roof. I appreciate that she remembers my name and greets me enthusiastically when I walk in! I also love the head massage after getting my brows done. Horrible experience!!! I walked in and say "good morning" to the two ladies sitting at the check out stand, only one responds lol. I don't take it personal, we're all entitled to have bad days. I finish signing in and turns out she's the one doing my brows lol. I keep a good attitude, even tho hers is sh!tty af lol, I gotta day she was applying way tooooo much pressure, to where I was finding the thread was irritating my skin, has never happened to me with threading before. When she finished, they looked thin but decent at first glance...when I looked closely...she had even left me with bald spots! You can't really tell cause my eye brows are microbaldded, thank God, cause she'd have me looking a hot mess if they weren't! Never again will I step foot in there. I have been coming to this place for a few years now and i've been fairly satisfied with their work but lately it just seems like the quality of their work has gone down significantly and it feels like every customer is rushed out. This last time my sister and I went in particular was what drove to leave a 2 star review. We went about an hour before closing time & were only there to get our eyebrows cleaned up. The lady who did my sisters eyebrows was the absolutely awful. She rushed the work and spent all of 2 mins on my sister & did not do it well. My sisters eyebrows didn't even look like they were done. the worst part was that i didn't even get the chance to ask the lady to re-do it because she walked right out not even a minute after she finished my sister! I get she was probably in a rush to get out of there but that's no excuse for a poor job. The lady who did MY eyebrows on wasnt any better. She seemed like she was rushing to get out of there too! Every time she threaded a little bit it felt like she was smacking my right in the face. I even ended up flinching a couple of times because it was just so viciously done.. It makes me so sad that this place used to be our number one go to eyebrow place but it seems like we may have to go searching for a new one. :( read more

I love this threading salon! I moved to Upland in the last year and have been going for quite some time. I usually go a few times before I decide to review any store and I have to say that I'm very pleased with the services they offer, the prices, and how friendly their staff are. I am usually in and out in less than 5 minutes whenever I get my eyebrows threaded. I have no preference as to which employee cleans me up, mainly because they always do so well and don't change anything with the natural shape of my brows. Got my eyebrows done by Ofelia and I am very happy with the result. She listened to what I exactly wanted and did just that.

My first time getting my eyebrow threaded... I've only gotten then waxed before, but my skin gets super red and inflamed after those treatments :( I saw this spot right next to Vons and took a leap of faith. First thing: so super quick service. I was in an out within 10 minutes. I was helped by Shirley(?). She sat me down, made a few comments about my light/uneven brows. I wasn't offered at all because she was right on lol. Then she got right to it. THREADING HURTS! Holy moly, waxing is like a couple seconds of pain, this threading pain persisted over a couple minutes. Maybe I just have a low tolerance for pain, ow ow. But oh well, beauty is pain! She did a wonderful job! They turned out a little thinner than I wanted, but the shape was fantastic! She made them looking longer and with this nice arch! 7 dollars, super affordable! I didn't get a rash like I usually do with waxes. I will definitely be back and work on my buy 7 get one free stamp car! read more

I've been coming here for several years .. and I've don't trust any other threading salon with my eyebrow .. reason being others have messed up my brows in the past and they just aren't the same anymore ... aayna threading salon has always done such a great job at making sure I'm satisfied with any service I am provided with .. I have floated around with several artist's throughout the years but they all do a wonderful job ... ophelia recently did my eyebrows per my last visit ... I hadn't gone in over 2 months because I was going every so often and I felt like they were thinner than usual. I myself have thick dark eyebrows and that's the goal I wanted to achieve .. I mentioned to Ophelia that I wanted and she made sure that I liked them ... the eyebrow service usual is 5 minutes tops but mine seemed shorter I felt like she barly threaded any hair ! *this is a good thing * I always ask for a clean up leaving everything the same ... I liked the outcome of my eyebrows. I went in with my eyebrows super messy because I've been trying to let them grow out to reshape them and I told one of the girls I wanted a different shape and she did as I asked. It's so hard to find someone who threads your eyebrows exactly how you want but that's exactly what you get here. Eyebrows cost $8 and upper lip costs $4, I find that both prices are fairly reasonable considering you could pay $12-22 for your eyebrows and they mess up your eyebrows. I remember when I have my facial done on the other building, I saw them. I badly need to have my eye brows cleaned. I went there in a whim and Bina assisted me. She is very nice and sweet. All of the girls are sweet. They greet you as soon as you walk in. Bina takes her time and she's very accommodating. She makes me feel at home. Staff is very bland. They hardly speak more than 4 words to you. You do not feel welcomed when you walk in. The times I've went I have always been rushed. Once I visited this place, one of the girls that worked on my eyebrows had a cold and kept blowing her nose. If you're going to work on peoples faces, please do not go in to work sick! read more

I didn't even get my eyebrows done this last time that I went in on 4/7/19. There was no one there and the two women who were working were chatting. They did not seem interested in having a customer. I came in and was asked to sign in. I was then asked to take a seat. I was putting away my glasses in my case when I heard one of the women say to the other "Why do you get all the pagals (Hindi/ Urdu) (crazies)". When I heard that I let them know that I was not a pagal, and would not be needing my eyebrows done. As I was walking out I was told that I was welcome. First time being there since I don't want to drive to Riverside, I thought hey let's give it a try. I read some reviews prior bur decided to give them a try. For starters no one welcomes you, next instead of focusing on the customer they have infront of them they are sort of multitaskers. For instance with me I was on the chair and the the phone rang and they picked it up. I thought ummm ok that's rude. Then I felt a stinging sensation but thought nothing about it because I've had my eyebrows threaded before so I was like whatever. Anyway when I got to my car I noticed some I has a cut below my eyebrow.. they need to be more careful or at least be more focused as to what they are doing. Not going back. read more
