When Aaron arrived to provide a project estimate he was friendly and informative. He took his time walking around my yard with me and explaining the issues with my trees while providing his recommendations on how to best prune them for minimal removal and best tree health. Very pleased with Aaron, Ernest and their crew! They were very polite, gave me a fair price on trimming my overgrown trees, showed up exactly when they said they would. They said it would take 90 minutes which seemed shockingly fast to me but they were done exactly when they said they would be. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up despite the muddy conditions from all the rain we've had. The trees look awesome! I'm really pleased with their performance and will definitely be using them to maintain my trees from now on. read more

I really would have given A1 GM Tree Service "5 Stars",for the actual tree service, until today. The tree service provided was good and prompt, but but their business and customer care leave much more to be desired. George (the owner) and I agreed upon a specific time and date to pay for the services, but when it came time for me to pay them he did not show up. I had an emergency situation out of town. So, I called to tried to locate them and they did not answer. I left a message and a phone number to contact me so that I could meet with them to pay him what I owed. I waited three hours, then finally left to go out of town. By the time they called back it was late in the evening and I was 100mi out of town. I later learned George also had an emergency situation. So, no problem, we agreed to meet at 8:00 the next morning, because I would be out early and would return at 8:00am. I arrive at 7:55am and paid George. We chatted a bit. We even discussed doing some more service on other trees on the property and he went on his way. When I came inside I was disappointed to discover that at 7:45am some loud irate woman ("George's Assistant") had come banging on our front door, opening the screen door, demanding payment and yelling at my daughters. I also learned that she had come the previous day in the late afternoon while I was out of town and behaved similarly with my 15 year old. My daughter just closed the door in her face and locked it. I still don't know who this female henchwoman was or why George sent her to my house to harass anyone in sight including my teenage daughter, when a simple timely return phone call could have solved the problem. I called George back immediately there was no answer. He later returned my call and I shared with him what my daughters had experienced. To which he replied that he hadn't seen or heard anything, although my 23 year old said that he was sitting in his truck the entire time this was going on. I can only assume he was there because he was sitting in his truck when I pulled up in front of the house at 7:55am. In my opinion, this was the most unprofessional display of business practices that I have seen for some time. They have absolutely no understanding of proper business, or customer service. A great tree service yes, but with those Pit Bull and loan shark tactics...hmmm...it's not worth it. read more

Two trees were removed, all cleaned up with new dirt-fill in the stump holes; other trees were trimmed beautifully. Don't call anyone else! Aaron's Tree service is the best. Very professional. We called three different services that we believed to be reputable. Two of them never even returned our call. One called and set up an appointment and didn't show up. Reset the appointment and didn't show up the second time! Aaron contacted us promptly and ACTUALLY SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOIULD! Hard to get good service anymore but Aaron provides it. We had three large trees that had not been trimmed in years and were out of control. Aaron provided a complete explanation of their service and gave us a very fair price. His crew showed up right on time and did an excellent job on the trees.
