I had them build custom cabinets and a very large stained maple work surface for my home office. I was able to detail and refine the design via email (during COVID) and I was glad they were able to get into the details and have as much clarified as possible. I had a good idea what I wanted but needed to know what final points I had to think through. It was a long while to get done due to their backlog and COVID resource rework, but after the 4 hour install of everything, it looks and functions perfectly. The craftmanship is fantastic and their design choice guidance was really helpful along the way. I would highly recommend them for any important project in your home. There was a safety issue and also it needed a "custom" touch so that furniture could be moved up and down stairs in a very tight spot. I was so thrilled at how the banister came out that I hired them to make a custom "Dutch" front door for me based on lots of pictures I'd obtained from Etsy and Pinterest. I shopped all over for a door like this and the standard Home Depot version was the only one I could find and I didn't like it. Peglars designed the most amazing door including all my "wish list" items and incorporating specialty hardware I bought off Etsy. I absolutely LOVE my front door. It is so beautiful that I can't stop looking at it. I know all my neighbors are jealous.

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. She worked with me on every little detail and gave great advice throughout. Michelle knows what she is doing and got me a quote that was crystal clear and very reasonable. Daniel ran the job and was fantastic as well. He had great insights, let me nag him about every possible question I could come up with, was flexible if I had any changes of heart about this or that, extremely easy to work with. All of his subs were top notch, which I can say as a business owner in the construction field myself is extremely rare. Plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile work, all were fantastic. He's surrounded himself with great people that get the job done right the first time. They didn't bat an eyelash at the art deco tile or the smart valves or any other unusual items I sent their way, they knocked it out with ease. And lastly Koren worked with me on any project details/paperwork that I needed. Was very responsive to everything I brought to him as I looked for assurances that I wouldn't have the same experience I had with the last folks. A very easy to work with company all around. I will be using these guys for future projects because the price is right, the quality is fantastic, and most importantly were willing to entertain any weird ideas I had. It has really been hit or miss (mostly miss) on everybody who worked on our house, except for Sam and his Father. They are always on time, on schedule and on budget (even though I change things quite often). Their work is excellent and their pricing is very good especially for the quality of work they do. I even had them do a few things that are out of their normal realm of expertise since some of the other contractors let me down so often. Besides all of that they are both really nice guys who you can trust to do what you need. You won't be unhappy with them!
