The problem is that this person wanted a credit card over the phone (barely speaking English) to actually book the appointment. There is no way I'm giving my credit card info over the phone, to a company I've used before, to a person that barely speaks English, for work that has not been done. I'm sorry that you have this apparently new policy, but that policy is the single reason I called someone else (that didn't need a credit card to come out).

If you want to have a tech show up and spend 2 hours looking for a user manual for your washer and then not fix it, this is your place. They left nasty water in my machine, didn't fix it, said they were getting parts and then didn't, left me hanging for weeks, called to make an appointment and then had someone else call to make an appointment 10 minutes later (multiple times), cancelled appointments 15 minutes after the tech was supposed to arrive that same day, kept promising the parts would arrive on a certain day but they never did, said they had all the parts (finally) and then showed up without them. Their techs only work part time and the customer service people have no idea what's going on. Someone called today and had kids yelling in the background. And when you complain, they act like this is normal business. This is a systemic problem with the business playing out over weeks - I don't believe them when they say they'll make it right because they've said it before and failed. Just get a new appliance and skip the repeated hassles of dealing with this company.
